In the next morning, Yu Ran summoned Jack to meet him.

Open the door, Yu Ran offer Jack to take a seat in front of him in his study.

“Sir.” he said as he salute to the man and take the seat.

“Jack, is there something that you not telling me yet?” Yu Ran asked cautiously.

“I mean. About your private life.”

“Am I burdening you with a load of work until you did not find a good time to spend with your love one?” he then look at the man with a seriousness in his face. He want to know what is he thinking. He treat Jack just like he treat Yu Lin. He is a good soldier.

“No sir, my time is perfect and my assignment also in a perfect sync with my daily schedule.” Jack replied firmly.

“I need you to take your time off for a month. Courting Ms. Lee properly. She is not someone that you could piss her off, since she is your girlfriend, you should spend more time with her.”

Jack turn silent. He nodded before he walk out from Yu Ran’s study room.

Change his attire, he drive out from Yu mansion. He live in the mansion since ten years ago. He had his own room and he also had his own basement for him to keep his equipment well.

Yu Ran was really nice to him, he has been acting like his father than his own biological father who didn’t care about him.

Not only him, there is also a few others people from Yu military that given the same treatment as him.

And all of them are the higher ranker. Even if they in the middle and low ranker, they still got the best accommodation from Yu.

He put on his Bluetooth and call Lee Zhing’s number.

After a few ring, she pick up the call.

Lee Zhing in the middle of meeting when she got the call. Hold the meeting, she walk outside the meeting room to answer his call.

“Jack?”

“Did I interrupting you?” he asked.

“Huh? No. What’s the matter?”

“Can I meet you now? I need to talk to you.” he said. His voice sound flat, Lee Zhing could not guessing what is wrong with him.

“Sure. I’m at the Lee Pharma building, just tell the receptionist that you are my guest. They will send you to my office later.” she said before she ended the call.

After she return back to meeting room, she whisper to Ms. Yun to inform receptionist that she will have a guest later.

Ms. Yun nodded her head.

‘Guest?’ Ms Yun frown but then she just ignore her thoughts.

Jack arrive at Lee Pharma building after 20 minutes’ drive. He park his car and walk to the receptionist counter.

When he was inside the building, he really surprised with the interior of the building. It’s designed with a modern style and it so neat. All the worker also wearing a lab coat.

He look the woman in the counter and said.

“Hi, I’m looking for Ms. Lee Zhing.” he said politely.

The girl with a name tag Chua look up to the man. Her eyes lit up a bit.

‘Oh wow! He’s cute.’

She then smile and stood up with a weird pose.

“Yes? Are you Ms. Lee guest? Can I have your name and your phone number? For registration purpose.” she smile again and wink her eyes a few time.

Jack turned silent a moment. He can’t just give his information like that.

He rub his chin before he take the sheet and write his name with his number.

‘That’s okay, it just her company rules I think.’

After he return back the sheet, the receptionist girl led him to a secret elevator.

While her friend take over at the counter.

“So Mister, if may I know, are you Ms. Lee friend or business partner?” the girl try to start a conversation when they in the elevator.

“I’m her..”

‘Wait, is it okay for me to tell her that I’m her boyfriend? We still in the early phase. So it’ better to not reveal it yet to public.’ he thought.

“Friend.” he said.

The receptionist girl smiling secretly. ‘He so handsome and his body look like a soldier. His appearance also look simple, he must be an ordinary people. So I had a chance!’ she thought.

“I see. My name is Caramel Chua. Here is my card.” she handed him her card.

Hesitate at first, but he still took the card and look at it.

“You can call me anytime if you want.” she wink at him again.

Furrow his brow, he just nodded his head.

“Er ye..ah.. thank you Ms. Caramel.”

The elevator door was open. The secret elevator is connected to her office room, thus she didn’t need to use the same elevator with other worker and it save her time.

Ms Yun was in the office placing a few document into Lee Zhing’s desk when her elevator door opens. While Lee Zhing still in her meeting room.

The receptionist girl and a man behind her step out from the elevator.

Ms. Yun tilt her head a little.

“Is this Ms. Lee guest?” she asked the receptionist girl.

She then nodded her head.

“Yes, Ms. Yun. ”

She then excuse herself into the elevator leaving the man and her boss butler in the room.

‘Oh! He’s cute. Where did I see him before eh?’ Ms. Yun thought.

“Pleasure to meet you Mr.?” she stop her word.

“Jack.” he said while standing still in front of Ms. Yun.

After he said that, Lee Zhing push her door from the outside.

Seeing his face in her office, she almost jump.

“Baby! You’re here.” she run to the man and jump to him. Her file, she throw to the side.

Ms. Yun was so shocked with what she just see and heard. Her jaw almost dropped.

Lifting her waist, he support her body who is suddenly jump to him. He also surprised by the sudden attack from her.

Wrap her hand to his neck, she whisper to him.

“Oh.. I miss you.” she then kiss his cheek.

After that, Jack put her down to the floor back.

Turning her body, she said to Ms. Yun.

“Ahh..Yun, this is my boyfriend. Jack.”

“Jack, erm..you know who is she right?”

Jack nodded.

“Okay. So, Yun I need my private time with my boyfriend. You can rest now.” she smile to her.

Knowing her cue, she nodded and walk out from her office.

Turning back to the man, she look at his eyes.

“Did you miss me?”

Smiling to her, he nodded with replying to her “Yes.”

Her eyes turn sparkle as she look at the man.

“Hmm. Tell me, what did you need to talk to earlier?”

“It’s about our relationship.” he said making Lee Zhing feel a bit nervous.

“What about it?” she try to calm her heart.

“Did you ask Mr. Yu Ran to release me one month from my duty?”

Lee Zhing froze. ‘Uh-oh.’

“Er..Well, I’m not the one who ask him, even though I wish I could said to him like that.” she led him to the leather sofa in her office room.

“So, it’s Madam Yu Rin who help you?” he asked again. His face still no expression nor with his voice. It made Lee Zhing hard to guess whether he angry or not.

“I need a bit of your time to spend with me. That’s all. I didn’t mean to..”

“Didn’t I said before that i will hardly have time for you? And you agree with it too last time.” he cut her sentence made Lee Zhing’s turned silence.

“I need to remind you again, I’m not like any other guy who will have a lot of time to date and court you. I don’t like when you try to take care of my job okay?” he said again. Even his tone was flat, but Lee Zhing’s heart was totally stabbed by his word.

She still silence.

Looking at her quiet behavior, made Jack a bit regret for say those things to her.

“Yes, I know you miss me. And I miss you too. But, that doesn’t mean you can just barge into my business and made my boss to listen to your request. I don’t like to get a different treatment from my boss just because I date someone from higher background than him. It will made my boss loose his face. Even if he didn’t show it. Now, do you understand what I try to explain here?” he cupped her face with his hand and made her look at him.

Turning her eyes away from him, she just nodded slowly.
