10 Billion To Get A Wife! - Chapter 122：Not Many Brave Man Left

In the blinks of eyes, it almost past one month. Hai Rin has been busy with her business, since it is now early in November, she need to prepare with the winter season soon.

While Richard also busy with his new project. He keep travelling and sometimes, he only return back for a few day before he go to travel again.

Lee Zhing also busy with her business. Even so, she still make time for her to meet Jack. Sometimes, it was Jack who spend his time to accompany Lee Zhing in her office, staring her the whole day without doing nothing.

Today she had a date with Jack, he bring her to watch a movie at the cinema and have dinner too.

While they eating dinner, suddenly she looked at the man, asking him a very important question.

“Jack.”

“Hm?” he focusing on his plate without looking at her

“Will you marry me?” she asked.

“No. Find another man.” he said with a flat voice.

“Hey, I’m serious.” she already placed her spoon on the side of the plate.

Looking at her face, he said. “I mean it too.”

“But, you are my boyfriend. Of course I will marry you and no other person.” she stare at him.

“Zhing..how many times do I have to tell you? Even when i dating you is considered hard enough for me. If I marry you, don’t you think that it will be a big mistake?”

“Why would it be a mistake?”

“You know my job line do you?”

“Resign from your position, I can offer you a better future. What do you want to be? A businessman? Minister? Politician? I can make you one. So you don’t need to worried that I will be alone.” she raise her voice a little making a few couple around their table turned to look at them both.

“No. I can’t. I love my job.”

“More than you love me?” she asked.

“I can’t be your husband. If you really desperate to have a husband then find another man.”

She silence a moment before she put her phone back inside her handbag.

“Fine. I will find another men.” she said before she walk out from the restaurant leaving Jack alone.

Looking at his plate, his appetite are already long gone. He then pay the bills and returned to his apartment near the city.

He buy his own apartment before he move in into Yu mansion, after he move to Yu mansion, all his belonging inside the house are still there and he only back to his apartment once in a while.

Lay on his bed, he stare at the ceiling blankly. Sighing, he took out his phone and dialing Lee Zhing’s phone.

His call are being ignore by her. He then open his apps and check her location.

After a few beeps, he see that she is now at the Imperial City night club. Many youngster like to spend money and enjoying their nightlife there.

At first he want to ignore it, since she is just fine but then, he got out from his bed and take his car key.

He walk inside the night club and try to searching her figure.

After almost 45 minutes, his eyes caught her figure which is look like she is already drunk. When he want to approach her, suddenly one man holding her waist and try to support her body.

She just wearing a half blouse which is showing her belly button and wear a black tight jeans. Her wavy curly hair are let loose covering half of her face.

That man try to touch her bare skin when suddenly Jack throw a punch on that man’s face. Lee Zhing also fall down to the floor when the man suddenly thrown to the side, unconscious after being hit by Jack.

He then retrieve her hand and carry her like a bag of sand out from the nightclub. Luckily, almost people in that place look like they are drunk, so no one paying attention to what happen earlier.

He didn’t bring her back to Lee mansion, instead he bring her to his apartment.

Open the door, he placed her on his bed. The alcohol smell make Jack feel a bit uncomfortable. He then walk out to his closet and find his shirt.

He help her changing into his shirt before he closed the door and sleep at the couch.

The next morning, she wake up in the daze. Her head feel like she just been hitting by the rock. Rubbing her head, she scan the room.

When she notice she is not in her room, she immediately take her blouse on the bed and sneakily try to go out from the apartment.

When she passing the kitchen, Jack call her name.

“Zhing.”

Jolt a bit, she turned to the man.

“Jack?” her face look surprised. She then noticed that jack didn’t wear a shirt, he only wear his jogging pant. Is it possible that Jack take advantage to her when she was drunk? She thought.

“What are you thinking getting yourself drunk last night?” he asked.

“It is none of your business. I think we are done here.” she said coldly to him before she walk back to the door.

“Hey, what’s wrong with you? I’m not done yet.” he retract her hand from pulling the door knob.

“Don’t you get it? We are over aren’t we?” she yelled.

“Over? When did I said it was over?” he furrow his brow.

“What’s the point if you didn’t have any intention to marry me? Are you just using me to satisfy your need?”

“Satisfied..my need??” he asked her.

“You said yourself, if I desperate enough to find a husband, I better find another man, right? I will gladly to do it. So Jack, we are over.” she pull her hand back from his grip and open the door.

Meanwhile, Jack was left dumbfounded inside his apartment. He shake his head and took a shower after that.

Lee Zhing halt a taxi and go to her office waiting for Ms. Yun to fetch her and return to mansion.

She take two day off because of fever.

Hai Rin who just got back from Qinglong town, hurriedly go to her bedroom after the maid telling her she is not well.

“Zhing..it’s me. May I come in?” she asked after knocking the door.

Not long after, Ms. Yun open the door. She left her with Lee Zhing inside the room.

Seeing her pale face, she hurriedly sit at the edge of the bed hugging her head into her shoulder.

“What happen?”

“I broke up with him.” she sobbing in her shoulder.

Hai Rin patted on her back softly. Try to calming her.

“He said he don’t want to marry me. He said that I’m desperate. I really love him Rin, it hurt me so much.” she stuttered as she speak with Hai Rin, her tears flowing from her eyes.

Hai Rin lost word. She only could help her by listen to her problem.

Lee Zhing follow her mother suggestion. Going to blind date that her mother already arrange for her.

All the candidates seems from a higher family background. Today is her fifth date with a fifth candidate.

They meet at the grand restaurant, Lee Zhing wore a dark red gown with a pearl necklace. It made her look more classy and gorgeous.

Today’s candidate is one of the famous bachelor from second generation family.

His face is quite handsome with a dimple in his right cheek. His neat and tidy appearance also made Lee Zhing a bit attract to him.

“Hello, Lady Lee.” he said when she approach him.

Stood up, he pull the chair for her.

They sit and having a light conversation before they order their course.

“So, tell me Lady Lee. Are you really single? In my eyes, you look very beautiful, it is rare for a beauty lady like you is single these day.” he asked politely while cutting his steak.

Smiling, she reply him.

“Yes. Beauty can be something that people afraid to hold to too.” she sip her champagne.

“Well, too bad not many brave man left too.” he also smile to her.

After some talk and light humor, they decide to return back to home since its quite late.

When she wait for him at the entrance lobby because of some matter, suddenly Jack figure with a very beautiful woman come to the restaurant caught her eyes.

They meet at the middle of the pathways.

The girl wearing a silver long dress with a deep V neck design. While Jack wearing a complete black suit with a grey tie. Really match up with the girl’s attire.

Jack stop his pace a moment and they looked at each other without saying anything.

“Jack, let’s go.” the woman calling from behind her.

“Lady Lee, shall we go now?” her blind date also calling for her.

They both divert their eyes and walk to their direction. Jack going inside while Lee Zhing going out.

Her eyes start to redden, but she hurriedly sniffing back her tears.
