When she was in the restroom, she bump with the girl that was with Jack earlier.

She intend to ask her, she then approach the girl.

“Ah hi..i’m sorry, but may I know..” Nani already turned around to look at the woman behind her.

“Yes?” she asked her before Lee Zhing could finish her sentence.

“Is the man with you earlier is your boyfriend?”

Nani furrow her brow a moment. Looking at the woman up and down she thought.

‘She can’t be Jack’s girlfriend right? Her dress is expensive and she also not look like an ordinary people. No way is she Jack girlfriend. She is too… ‘girly’. Ahh..maybe she had taken an interest toward jack?’

With that thought, she nodded. Lee Zhing’s heart sank but she still want to asked her again.

“How..how long did you..”

“Oh..you mean together with him? 3 years. Yeah, 3 years.” She try to convince her.

This time, Lee Zhing’s body trembles a bit.

She walk out from the restroom, with her fast pace, she retrieve her handbag and leave Su Han at the restaurant.

“Lady Lee? What’s wrong?” Su Han asked when seeing, Lee Zhing cover her mouth with her palm and her eyes also red. After she walk, Su Han immediately follow behind her and pay for the lunch.

Jack looked at their direction when he heard the man call her name. He furrow her brow when seeing her weird action and that man also following her from behind. Not long after, Nani return from the restroom.

“Jack.”

“Yeah?”

“Do you.. have a girlfriend?”

“Huh?” he looked at her with a confused expression. But then, he divert his eyes back to the target in the restaurant.

“I mean… there is a woman ask me earlier if we are a lover or not..”

“What did you tell her?” his eyes already focused on his partner’s face.

“Well, of course I tell her that we are a lover. I even tell her it’s been 3 years we’ve been together for convincing her.”

“Shit!” he almost shout. He then leave Nani alone for tailing the target. While he already run outside and try to find her figure.

He then remember that he had setting a tracker on her phone. He open the apps and try to trace for her location. After a moment, its shows that she is currently at the park near the riverbank.

Sighing, he drive to her location.

Lee Zhing wipe her tears with her tissue in her hand. She lowered her head and stare blankly at her feet.

She already told Su Han that she want to be alone right now. Fortunately, Su Han understand her situation and let her alone at the park beside the river bank.

After almost ten minutes staring at the ground blankly, suddenly there is a sport shoes standing in front of her.

She look up at the man.

“What are you doing here?” she asked with a raspy voice.

“Listen, let me explain to you.” He walk closer to her and sit beside her at the bench.

“You don’t need to explain anything to me. We are not a lover anymore.”

“She is not my girlfriend. She is my partner. We never have that kind of relationship besides as a colleague.” He said. His voice sounded calm.

“Hey, you are my first girlfriend you know.. you also are my first love.” The last sentence he said with a low voice.

“Yeah..same with me. Unfortunately, we are not in the shape where we can have a happy ending, aren’t we?”

“Just so you know, I still love you.”

“Only if you promise me you will always return back to me no matter what. But, you can’t promise me that, do you?”

Release her hand, he rub his face with his palm.

Seeing no answer from him, she walk back to the main road leaving him alone at the bench.

Ms. Yun waiting for her at the side of the road. She open the door and let Lee Zhing get inside the car.

Ms. Yun look at the Lee Zhing through a rear mirror, she was crying.

She just bitterly smile and nodded. “Uhn. I’m fine.”

Ms. Yun sighing. This is the first time she saw Lee Zhing’s to be this weak. She was always a happy person and easy going.

“Which division is she in?” an old man with a round spectacles did not even looked at him.

“Not even in military.”

“Heh.. You know the rules.” Field Marshal Cheng smirking and stood up after he heard his son request.

“What if I didn’t do like what you have set?” he asked the man.

“Simple. If anything happen to you, I would not take responsibility to her. I may not acknowledge her as well.”

“She is not someone that you would ignore it, dad.”
