Hai Rin was totally tired. The whole day she had to accompany Richard to do some shopping.

‘Next time, I won’t go shopping with him again! I rather go with Lee Zhing or Andy.’ she promise to herself.

After she took a bath, she lay on the bed and turn on the television. She watch some news which is currently on the air.

While she was still in surprise, Richard slide open the door. He frowned a little when seeing her face.

“Why your face looking like that?” he asked.

“Huh?” she back to reality. She then turned her head to the man.

“Did you know that Su Zhin being criminal? She’s now is a fugitive.”

“Hm. I know.” he walk to her and sit at the edge of the bed.

“What?” again, she was shocked with his relax expression.

“Yeah, I know that she is now a fugitive and in the wanted list by the police.” his eyes still fix on her.

“How?”

“I was there.”

“What?”

“Did you already learn about Rong family from your father?” he asked her in a serious tone.

“Huh? Uh..yeah.”

“So, you know that the Rong is bad people right?”

“Uh huh.” she nodded and looked at his face.

“I won’t let Rong do anything to you. I will make sure to give you a full protection.” he said to her and caress her hair gently.

Hai Rin on the other hand feel like something was off about his attitude toward her.

‘What’s wrong with him? He acting weird from yesterday.’ she thought.

“Erm, you said you had a good news for me. What is it?”

“Hmm. Yeah.” he bring his lips near to her ear. He whisper to her.

Upon hearing the word, Hai Rin’s body taken aback. She looked at the man face like not believing what she just heard.

“Uh..I don’t understand.” she scratch her head a little. She doesn’t want to misunderstood his meaning, that is why is she decide to said that she don’t understand his meaning.

Richard place his hand on her neck and kiss her lips softly. “Do you understand it now?”

She shake her head again. Then he kiss her lips deeply this time. After some time, he release it.

Still, she shake her head. Before he kiss her again, she cover his mouth using her palm.

“Wait. I know you’re kissing me. But, you always kissed me before, so I don’t get it. Just tell by the word, please.” she look up at the man’s eyes.

Richard could only sigh. He take her hand down and kiss lightly on her forehead.

“I said, I made my decision..and I choose to be with you for the rest of my life.”

“Now..did you get it?” he asked her again and look deep into her eyes.

Dumbstruck by what she just heard, she open her mouth wide. Blinking her eyes a few times.

5 seconds passed, she tilt her head a little a said.

“So fast? What happen?”

Richard squeezed her chin softly. “When I didn’t give you my answer, you said that you tired chasing over me. And when I already made my decision you said it, so fast? So which one do you want me to respond exactly?”

‘Oh! That’s right. But..’

“I mean. It so sudden. Su Zhin being fugitive and you made your decision. Is there something happen that I don’t know?” she still have her doubt.

“Want to listen to my night story?” he asked.

Nodded her head, she immediately turn off the television and flip the comforter to covering her body. She patted her bed side and lift up her head using her arm.

“Okay. I’m ready.” said Hai Rin.

Richard chuckle seeing her action. He also do the same thing. Cover his body with the comforter and turned to her.

“It happen when I was 23. I and Andy go to the night club to find Lee Zhing, but we couldn’t find her. That is when I met with Su Zhin. She was under aged that time. She has been drugged and her clothes was drench with the alcohol..”

‘Ahh..that story..’ she thought. She already hear it from Andy, but she still focused on Richard.

“The next day, I found out that she is actually has been sold to the Rong, due to her father debt. I feel sorry for her. So I let her do her way, by bumping into me and using me to be her gateway from the Rong. She make a deal with Rong’s son that if she be my girlfriend, she will have her own way of life. In short, she want some freedom from him. So I agree to help her without she knowing that I know her plan.”

“Wait, wait.. how do you know?” she feel curious.

“I always have bug on her.”

“What?” her eyes widen. ‘is he also put a bug on me?’ she tried to look around her body.

Noticing her action, Richard seize her action. “I’m not put it on you.”

Lift up her eyebrows, she asked “Are you telling me the truth?”

“Yes.” his tone sounded serious.

“Okay..continue..” she feel a bit relief.

He caress her cheek and continue again.

Hai Rin didn’t have any idea by what he means. All she knew is she fell from the cliff. About all the trial to harm her has been saved by Andy. And Andy also didn’t tell a thing to her. So of course, she doesn’t know that she is being target by Su Zhin.

“So..is that why she has been caught by the police and now she’s being a fugitive?”

“Good Night.” he kiss her cheek and closed his eyes. Ready to sleep.
