“I’ll submit this now.” Lawyer Bo looked at the clock and marveled at how these two managed to quarrel for more than six hours. It was already nearly 9 AM in the morning.

Yu Zheng Tong nodded. “You may leave now, Lawyer Bo, I still have some matters to take care.”

“Alright.”

Kang Mao Lan saw Yu Zheng Tong looked at her and she gritted her teeth. She packed up her clothes and other belongings before she sauntered out of the mansion. In any case, she would not show that she was weak.

Fiddling with her phone, Kang Mao Lan then recalled her lover, whom she hadn’t called in a long time. Without hesitation, she dialed his phone and the man answered in the next minute.

“Didn’t I tell you to not call me in the morning?”

“I need a place to stay.”

The man on the other side of the phone was silent for a while. “Did you have quarrel with your husband?”

“Yeah, so I need a place to stay.”

“You can stay in this apartment. I’ll send you the location. It belongs to me but I rarely come there.”

“Alright.”

Kang Mao Lan saw the address and felt excited. She hailed a cab and quickly headed over to the new location. The apartment was certainly located at high ends location and it was known to be quite expensive.

She paid no heed and directly headed to the address stated. After she put on the pin, she walked inside and settled in.

After a few hours, the man, Manager Cao walked in. He looked at Kang Mao Lan, who had settled in and furrowed his brows. “What happened? It’s unusual for you to appear in front of me without reason like that.”

“I divorced my husband.” Kang Mao Lan snorted. “He’s unworthy to even have someone like me to stay with him.”

Before the two of them could speak anything more, there was sound of the gate opening. A woman walked inside and her face turned strange when she saw Manager Cao with Kang Mao Lan.

“Who are you?” Kang Mao Lan asked in clear irritation.

“I’m his wife.”

“Wife?” Kang Mao Lan looked at Manager Cao with clear confusion. She clearly didn’t expect there would be someone who claimed to be his wife. Not to mention, she was sure that Manager Cao was not married.

Manager Cao’s face darkened. “What wife? You’re just one of my lovers.”

“One of? Cao!”

“Cao?”

“Don’t you dare to call him so intimately, you b*tch! He’s my husband and you’re not allowed to touch him!”

“What the hell are you talking about? He’s mine and he’s not married! Why would he even want to stay with an ugly b*tch like you?”

“You vixen! You’re even uglier than me but you want to snatch him?”
