“Alright.” Even though Yu Yan was not sure about the problems Long Ying was worried about, she knew that he was concerned about her. Thus, she didn’t argue and accepted his arrangement.

Long Ying caressed his wife’s hair and sighed. The Long Family problems should settle down in a few more days if Long Shu Ting was quick. But before he was sure about it, he would not let Yu Yan stay alone.

Yu Yan still watched the security camera of her uncle in the police station. As it turned out, Kang Xie Jing had no intention to defend his sisters and only said to the police officers that they could handle as they see fit.

Lei Xing Yi let out a faint laugh. “Do you really think that I’ll be weeping and grieving right now? Oh well, I did feel so sad yesterday that I had to down a glass of wine to drink my sorrow away.”

So sad that she had to drink wine?

From the way Yu Yan perceived it, it was simply a celebration because she was finally away from her parents who continued to haunt her even in her dreams. With those two no longer interfering with her life, Lei Xing Yi could now relax and focus on her business.
