“Hey girls, about the store opening tomorrow, have you settled the guests….” Kang San Hai was stunned to see the two of them were not busy working and instead looked like they were chatting. He checked the clock and noticed that it was indeed still work time.

Did he come at the wrong time?

“What is it, Cousin San Hai?” Lei Xing Yi was quick to return back to her feet. She looked at her cousin with a faint amused smile at the corner of her lips.

Kang San Hai scratched the back of his head. He repeated, “About the store opening tomorrow, have you settled the special guests who will come and help us boost the reputation?”

“I already sent invite to Old Zhou and also Old Su.” Lei Xing Yi then passed a look at Yu Yan. “You said that you’ll invite Old Zhang and also Mr. Long Shu Ting?”

“Yes.” Yu Yan had already told Long Ying about it but she was not entirely sure whether Long Ying would be able to convince his brother to come to the opening ceremony or not. If it was not possible, she would not press the matter either.

Kang San Hai was stunned. “But I thought Mr. Long Shu Ting is still in mourning period?”

“It’s been two to three months… do you think he’ll keep on mourning forever?” Lei Xing Yi was speechless. However, it was also true that Long Shu Ting hadn’t appeared in the media again ever since the incident in Long Family that resulted in the death of Long Shu Xing.

Thus, a lot of people would surely try to get him to appear in the media once more no matter what the cost would be.

Kang San Hai then looked at Yu Yan with a grin. “If you truly can get him to come, the newspaper will surely highlight Xingyan Company!”

It would depend on Long Ying and him.

The three of them discussed the opening for some more time before they returned back home. An Lin was still the one who continued to follow Yu Yan around along with another guard in the shadow. Yu Yan didn’t know him but An Lin said that he was another martial art expert.

Not wanting to pry too much since her knowledge regarding martial arts were limited, Yu Yan simply accepted the explanation.

When Long Ying saw his wife, he noticed that she looked more comfortable than before. It seemed that she already had the answer she sought regarding the matter of her own parents.

“Ying, do you think it’s possible to invite Brother Long Shu Ting to the opening ceremony of the new Xingyan Jewelry Store?” Yu Yan asked when they were on the bed at night.

Long Ying narrowed his eyes. Persuading his brother was easy, though. “Do you want him to come?”

“If Long Family member arrive in the scene, wouldn’t it bring more popularity?” Yu Yan blinked her eyes.

“Your own husband is Long Family members, Yan’er.”

“But your first brother is more popular.”

…Can’t refute that.

As someone who had been working in the underworld most of his life, Long Ying certainly knew that it would be impossible for his popularity to match with his older brother. It would be safe to say that the possibility was completely zero.

He sighed. “I’ll ask him to come. However, you’re not allowed to go near him.”

Long Ying didn’t want to make his own brother his enemies. It would be better if they could just not interact with each other but live was not that easy.. He was still part of Long Family and naturally there were some matters where he needed to talk with Long Shu Ting.
