2 Years Of Restarting - Chapter 236
Yu Yan didn’t immediately answer. She was thinking whether it would be good for her to come or not with Long Ying. After thinking for some time, Yu Yan finally nodded.
“Alright, I’ll come with you.”
“Okay.”
In that case, Long Ying had to prepare for the security. He turned to look at An Lin, who was standing quietly at the corner. Sensing his Boss’s gaze, An Lin nearly jumped out of his secret place out of fear.
“B…Boss?”
“Ask for more men to come.”
“Don’t you have other missions to do?” Yu Yan was stunned.
“Without that person, the amount of work will be lesser.” Long Ying sneered. How long since it been since he was waiting for Long Shao Huai’s death? Of course, he didn’t do anything openly that could cause that person’s death, but he was silently waiting from the shadow.
Now that the biggest troublemaker was no longer here, Long Ying knew that he wouldn’t need to worry that much anymore. Long Shu Ting was not the type to make trouble out of anyone.
In fact, his older brother would be trying to clean up the mess first.
…
The funeral took place in the cemetery that was located east in City A. There were a lot of people who came and expressed their condolences to Long Shu Ting but anyone with eyes would know that they were just acting.
Long Shao Huai had more enemies than friends.
He didn’t become the overlord in City A with nothing. There were a lot of power behind him that was working hard to help him strengthen his position so that he could reach the peak.
Long Shu Ting entertained them for some time before they all left. In the end, he was the only one who was left with his wife and son along with Long Ying and Yu Yan. The five of them were left in the scene.
Zhao Xi An noticed their atmosphere and sighed. “Ao Jiang is sleepy, so I’ll bring him back first.”
“Alright. Make sure he had enough rest.”
“I know what to do.”
Yu Yan was about to walk away but she felt Long Ying held her hand tighter. It was clear he wanted her to stay behind and listened to his conversation with Long Shu Ting. Her eyes flashed as she looked at the man.
Long Shu Ting arched his eyebrows. “You don’t want to hide this from her?”
“She’s my wife. She has the right to know.” Long Ying’s silver eyes seemed to penetrate deep into Long Shu Ting’s body even behind the black glasses.
Raising his hand, Long Shu Ting didn’t try to refute. He merely smiled when facing Long Ying’s threatening gaze. Even after so long, he could not get used to Long Ying’s silver eyes that seemed to be able to pierce deep into one’s soul.
“Alright. Alright, I’m abolishing the Long Family tradition.”
Long Family tradition?
Yu Yan was stunned but Long Shu Ting didn’t wait for her to understand the implication of his words as he continued.
“I don’t have any plan to have more child with Xi An. This silver eyes should end in your generation, Ying so that no one will have that strange power anymore. I don’t want to see more broken up family.”
Long Shu Ting was not that kind. He just felt tired with the game that he had with his father ever since he was young. For over three decades, he kept on playing game and put his life on the line, betting with the worst expectation at every step he took.
And he won.
But that kind of life was so tiring. The Long Family was already prosperous enough. They didn’t need to rely on Dragon Clan to keep on wiping their *sses for their mistakes. As long as the heir was capable enough, they could keep the Long Family intact.
“There’s no guarantee that your son won’t have children with silver eyes.” Long Ying passed a look at Long Shu Ting
Long Shu Ting shrugged. “Even if there are children with silver eyes born again, I’m not going to put them in Dragon Clan. When Long Ao Jiang grew up, he’ll never know about this tradition and naturally no one will tell him about it.”
Long Ao Jiang might be a bit mature than his real age, but he still didn’t know the exact detail of this accursed tradition. Of course, Long Shu Ting didn’t have any plan to let his son know about this.
So that when there were children with silver eyes born in their family in the future, they would not be treated the same way as Long Ying or their uncle.
Long Ying’s eyes flashed. “I see.”
“However, I would like to keep Dragon Clan under Long Family.” Long Shu Ting glanced at Long Ying. “You can pick whoever you want to be the next head but that person has to be following our order.”
“That can be done but you might need to make some kind of contract to bind them.”
“Would contract based on law bind someone from the underworld?”
Long Ying sneered. “Of course, I’m not talking about slave contract but working contract. In any case, Dragon Clan is still registered under Long Family and naturally I have no intention to bring it away.”
“It’s up to you. You can deal with it.” Long Shu Ting waved his hand. “I’m only telling you this so that you don’t need to worry about preparing the seat for the new head or train him like you. However, the person you choose need to have the capabilities.”
“You can just choose two people to lead Dragon Clan so that they can watch over each other.”
“Sure, you can pick your second head.”
“I’ll just start it from the next generation. I’m too lazy to take care of such matter.”
Long Shu Ting merely rolled his eyes at his brother’s words.. He clearly understood that Long Ying wouldn’t care but it would be too troublesome.
