5th Rated God - Volume 1 Chapter 15 Showdown Of The Strongest
The worthless god quickly got a dose of reality and gained a fear of mortals. Who says gods would always be the top dog? One wrong moves, some random thing could drag them down from their thrones!
While the crappy god gained valuable experience and information on just how powerless it really was. It was puzzled by their actions.
“They sure are dumb as they sacrifice themselves by the dozens”, thought the selfish god, totally not realizing the honer and resolution they put on the line for the greater good. The pathetic god tried to redeem itself while dragged others down
The penniless god only had it self to worry about, but these people put everything on the line. Had have just about everything to lose if they failed to repeal the enemy army. They had friends and family to protect. Should they fail who know what would happen.
The battlefield was lived once again. The necromancer had yet to die and his allies ran towards to protect him.
The necromancers injuries where slowly healing, but it suffered quite a bit.
The ones that shot the arrows have joined up with the golden army by now and quickly got in line. Along with the mages, these huntresses fired attacks from the rear and aimed for the more powerful individuals that normal foot soldiers can’t handle.
Of course the enemy army where no pushovers and the powerful individuals started to work together better.
The warriors where to the front and hacked down arrows that would come and any soldiers that wanted to get close. The mages casted protection spells that surrounded the necromancer. The necromancer was completely protected.
“HAHAHAH! You shitty priest! How can you be so carless, HAHAHA!”, laughed a burly man that was protecting the necromancer.
“Indeed how unsightly.”, remarked the mage that casted the huge ice barrier.
The necromancers allies looked for any chance to ridicule and rub salt on its wounds.
“SHUT UP! SHUT UP!, I’ll turn each and every on of those bitches into my undying solders sooner or later!!!”, the necromancer was enraged and with his allies poking fun at him, his anger only rose.
“Dame this shitty place, is this really the best realm to invade?! There are plenty of powerful individuals here!”, protested the necromancer.
“PFFFtt~ this is the best that the dark lord can find, it seems he’s pretty desperate too. Anyway for a bunch of exiles, this is the only option we have. Anyway this realm is considerably less dangerous with no high gods.”
“While our lord takes care of Apollo we must take up as much territory as we can.”
“Just be thankful that his father isn’t here or else even with our lord’s power we would all be goners”
“Hmmmmmm…”, grumbled the necromancer as his teammates ridiculed him. In truth it already knew. For people like them, who where persecuted in their worlds. they had to find refuge in the lords protection.
Their goal of this invasion is to take over this realm and secure a home base so they can finally stop running.
While they were bickering one of the two most powerful individuals the god sensed spoke.
“Hisssssssssss….you will agree to our deal……as promised, right?”
A terrifying presence unfolded it self on the necromancers and his friends along with a deep scratch voiced that projected itself out of nowhere.
“Lord Hydra, sir.”, the mighty individuals tenses up and quickly addressed the mighty entity.
Even with their powers and abilities they must address the divine monster with respect.
The earth rumbled and a mighty creature made its massive body to the battle ground.
The creature was massive and had many characteristics of a dragon and its scaly body supported many of its heads that it doned on.
It’s heads slithered and and moved. Like a fan each of its 8 heads spreader in all sorts of directions and each long neck revealed a gigantic snake!
One of those necks moved its way towards the encirclement of the necromancer. With only a single one of its heads, it was large enough to cast as shadow of a few meters.
It glanced at the ant like figures form its perspective.
“Y-yes, a-according to the d-deal should we conquer the lands you, your dependents, as well as all monster kind will be able to peacefully live along us where the sun shines. Y-you will no longer be p-persecuted and granted rights as equals.”, stuttered the necromancer.
With some hesitation the necromancer summed up it’s courage and asked the the gigantic head,”I-is, I-is your information t-truly r-reliable…?”
The head glanced at the necromancer that was on the verge of peeing his pants, “Yes…. this world was only made on a whim….”
“This is nothing more than a plaything….. that Apollo begged his dearest daddy to build.”
“This realm is a vacation home…for the children of the high gods and their offspring…”
“If…. our information is correct….. the greek realm is at war with another mythological providence… Zeus will have no time to pay attention to a insignificant world such as this one… once we drive him and the rest of his brothers and sisters… we will have achieved our goal.”
The great mythical monster, Hydra, spoke awkwardly and slowly as it talked.
The necromancer heaved a sigh and was reassured with the acknowledgement of such a high end individual.
With that, they continued on with the war with their newly found reassurance.
The hydra retracted its head and it loomed over the entire battlefield. With another motion all of its heads pointed themselves toward the golden army.
The huntresses already noticed the behemoth of a monster and already shot volleys of arrows. The Hydra felt nothing how ever the arrows that felt such a huge blow to the necromancer was like a toothpick to the Hydra. Even as the arrows returned to their arrows, essentially giving the huntresses of Artemis, as soon as they flew back the wounds would rapidly regenerate.
The Hydra paid no head to this and simply opened its many mouths and breathed in a mouthful of air. With a huff a ghastly mist was formed that quickly crawled its way to ward the army.
Everything in its path quickly melted and the golden armor they donned corroded into brown rust.
Even the skeleton soldiers that were engaging the golden army, their bones melted into a slop of green gloop.
Frightfully powerful! This is a power of a god-like existence!
Even the crappy little god looked on with a flabbergasted expression.
It seemed like the end of the golden army, but suddenly a bright yellow light zoomed its way into the poisons mist and set it ablaze.
Boom! Like a fire spreading in a dry grassland, every molecule of the mist catches on fire and evaporated into nothing!
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh
Several more of these lights flashed and exploded accurately onto each of the Hydras heads. They each caught on fire and the mighty beast squirmed its long necks in pain.
“HIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSS”, the Hydra screamed in pain.
Angered its spit out more poisonous mist.
Booom!
Just like before a light shot forth towards it and it evaporated into nothing.
The Hydra stopped its useless actions and with its still flaming heads, it pointed them towards the direction.
The useless god also followed the Hydras gaze. It then saw a man flying! Since when could humans fly??? The crappy god looked at its own wings and felt significantly less special.
The man was dressed in the same golden armor and adorned on the same roster mohawk on its helmet.
On his feet were sandals that had a pair of wings growing out of each one! The great warrior was still drawing its bow and carefully stared at the monster.
It was yet another of the strong individuals, that gave the weak little god a strong sense of crisis.
Both of the big-guns in each army showed their presssense on the battlefield, the rest of the insignificant foot soldiers are helpless before their powers. The flying man only now just made its appearance when the Hydra made its move.
In such situation the most powerful one usually saved their strengths to deal with bigger threats and to check others from interfering with the weaker forces.
“T-this is way out of my league….”, sighed the helpless god.
