5th Rated God - Volume 1 Chapter 18 Poor Necromancer
The crappy god flapped its wings to run away like the pathetic coward it is.
“Who know what would happen, best strategy is to run!”, thought the cowardly god. Running was second nature to it.
While it was running it still had a burning curiosity of what would happen and just couldn’t help it self as it looked behind….
………….
There was no sound, but there was a insanely bright flash. Like how your dumb parents forget to turn off the flash when they take a family photo.
The entire world seemed white for a second, but in this case, only like a million times worse.
The crowd that was curiously looking was the intense fight:
“Ahhhhhh!”
“My eyes!!!”
“F*ck I can’t see!”
“Ah I’m blind! I don’t wanna be blind!”
………….
The unfortunate god that just had to look back at the wrong time:
“Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!”, it screamed and outrightly plummeted from the sky.
………..
Back to the bright flash, the armies underneath it where in utter confusion. The necromancer’s friends were also blinded, but the necromancer himself was especially effected, having fainted and foam coming out of his mouth.
“Oh, right! You were especially weak to holy light.”, remembered one of its teammates.
“We all are, but necromancers especially…..”, said the mage.
It seems the necromancer’s weakness was whatever the that ball of energy was. It had truly suffered.
While his teammates where actually pitying him for once rather than rubbing salt on his wound, the necromancer would never come to know of this.
“Look!”, shouted many people.
With this they remembered to look for the final result of the battle and shifted their attention. Completely ignoring the necromancer.
The necromancer’s unconscious body: ……..
The blinding light was subsiding as it gradually revealed the Hydras enormous mass of heads.
Many of its necks and body were charred black. Several scales fell from its body and pieces of flesh started to rain form the sky. Many heads where disintegrated form the energy and the remaining ones that did remain, their eyes were dull and devoid of life.
The soldiers under scrambled to dodge the crumbling body of the hydra. Did it end in a draw? Was the Hydra dead?
The many heads it generated where dropping just as fast now. If the Hydra died, the war will not have any heavy hitters and revert back to a stalemate.
The golden army was especially hopping for this. They held their shields and spears with tension and the opposing army were anticipating the outcome as well.
Pieces of the Hydra eventually littered all around the war ground. While everyone were nervously awaiting the results, the ice mage quietly tiptoed towards one of the pieces of flesh and took out a petite knife. She then started to pick at the scales and wanted to salvage for materials.
Her teammates stared at her actions with silent shock….
She rolled her eyes and urged them to help her with an inpatient wave of her hand.
She really wasn’t scared that the Hydra would live and see her actions.
As she and her crooked teammates hesitantly decided to pillage for materials many people started to shout in shock, alerting the mage from her pillaging.
The mage quickly turned around and threw her knife away. Sweating bullets the mage guiltily looked at the hydra. She then grabbed the necromancers unconscious body and hid behind it in fear.
The unconscious necromancer: ……..
The torso and humungous body of the Hydra staggered and took a knee to the ground.
No it wasn’t protesting the American flag, it was obviously hurt and couldn’t stand.
The mage threw the necromancer’s body aside and went to pick up her knife.
Just as she was about to plug her knife into a pice of flesh of the Hydra, a load sigh could be heard.
“Hissssssssssssssss…..”
It was the hydra! Did it survive!?!?!
The mage quickly threw her knife once again and quickly grabbed the necromancer to shield herself.
The unconscious necromancer: ……. shameless b!itch!
“F*ck! Will I really die this time…..?”, the mage truly regretted her greedy actions.
Looking at the hydra, she saw several more of its body parts drop and once the shroud of lifeless heads were finally shed, what was reveled were 6 lively snake heads! They where half of the original 12 that the hydra previously had.
Upon closer inspection, the other 6 where black in color and didn’t show any signs of regenerating. They looked lifeless and flaccid like used condoms. The hydra was pushed to its limits and even with its healing abilities, they couldn’t help it recover the lost heads.
The hydra firmly looked at its missing heads. It then willed its body to separate the useless dead heads from its body. Just like that the lifeless heads plopped onto the ground
Other that the lost heads the Hydra was fine.
Turning its heads toward the golden army it let out an onslaught of poison mist. It wanted to carry on what it started.
The golden army was in utter disappear and knew that they had truly lost. They dropped their golden shields and spears. Simply waited for the mist to take them to Hades.
The female huntresses looked at each other and sighed.
“Sorry lord Apollo, with the contract of your sister and our master, lord Artemis, we are no longer of use”
They looked towards the sky and turned into silver light particles and disappeared.
The army of monsters and misfits saw as the huntresses retreated and let out a triumphant roar!
Amongst the load roars the hydra held its remaining heads high in the sky and felt great solace. It had won! It had won! Great things were in store for its future and kind.
After wards it spited a head toward the necromancers group.
The mage’s mind as she scrambled to think of something ,”Crap!”
Seeing the giant looming head she saw that hiding behind the necromancer was pointless. She promptly kicked the skeleton aside and plastered on a fake smile.
“Lord Hydra we congratulate on your victory!”, she said as she acted like an obedient bootlicker.
The Hydra looked at her with silence, “….”
The mage,”….”
She started to sweat again and felt like she f*cked up big time, but she still persisted in smiling like nothing happened.
Her teammates looks at her with weird faces and sent a prayer towards her. If the Hydra didn’t let her off they were totally ready to sell her out.
The unconscious necromancer: “HAHHAHAHAHAHA!”
