5th Rated God - Volume 1 Chapter 22 Gods Talk Smack
The moment Apollo walked into the dining room he already encountered his bitter rival siblings. Along with his Golden Sun faction and the Triple Goddess faction, the one he truly hated was his brother, Aries’s faction.
Allied with him were Dionysus, and Aphrodite. With their respected affiliations of war, love and madness, it was truly the worst combination in history!
They where mindless and l.u.s.ted for war and was constantly invading other worlds and realms. War, alcohol ,and love were always present in any worlds so they have a steady amount of belief gathered and with how battle oriented Aries was, he garnished a huge following when he wages an invasion.
“Im sure you had quite the difficult time, brother”,smirked Aris. He was sculpted like a warrior and the confidence to go along with it. He wore light armor and but it still didn’t hide his rock hard abs and tree trunk like arms. He was a bonafide douchebag jock, though and though.
“HAHAHha~burp.”, laughed Dionysus drunkenly. He gulps down another cup of wine that seems to never empty. This god of wine seemed to always laugh and be happily drunk at all times. He was slightly plump, but was handsome nonetheless, as he was a god. All gods are beautiful perfect beings, with some exceptions….
(Looks are Hephaestus secretly….)
Hephaestus feel a sudden shudder while quietly sitting on the table…
Usually his siblings would be busy managing their own worlds, but they must have rushed back home to gloat at his failure.
“Father and our uncles have already went to deal with the barbarians. Demeter also went with her husband, uncle Hades, so she is not present, if you were wondering.”, said a woman with grey eyes and a long tunic. She was the goddess of wisdom, Athena!
While she didn’t insult him directly, she easily exposed his fears and thoughts. This put a frown in Apollos face as he took his seat with the already returned Hephaestus and Hermes.
He was bothered by her comment, but he looked at the goddesses that sat next to her. It was his twin sister, Artemis. She was unlike Athena who wore scholarly and reserved clothing. She was goddess of the hunt and wore a short tunic for easy movements, with her favorite silver accessories.
They were the truest of sibling as they share the same biological parents unlike their other siblings, with their father being Zeus and mother being the titan Leto.
They shared a close bond in reality and in their mythologies. They were god of the sun and goddesses of the moon, also both gods of archery. They compliment each other and were very close.
When Zeus announced he was going to hand down his throne, he though for sure that his beloved sister was going to join his faction. Little did he understand, she chose to side with Athena.
He was angered and their relationship turned sour, but the instance with the appearance of the huntresses, it did relive some of his anger of her. The huntresses were just as beloved to his sister as was he was with his champion that perished.
These maidens where hand chosen to accompany Artemis on her hunt, and where mortals she took a liking too. Artemis granted immortality and eternal youth to these maidens with the condition of never being able to fall in love. Like Artemis, the goddesses of her faction greatly valued the purity and independence of females.
This gesture meant she wasn’t without no care for him. Their close ties as siblings remained, but they would eventually meet on the battle field. The brother and sister shared a complicated look at each other.
“Hehe- Why don’t you simply dissolve your punny group and join my faction”, boasted Aries.
“Hehe~burp!” chimed in the drunk Dionysus.
“Like you have the gall to talk, didn’t you get into conflict with the Cristian faction and got you drunk ass kicked?”, snipped in Artemis with a mischievous grin.
With her connection with Apollo, she refrained from commenting on him, but if it was someone else, she had no clams on ripping their asses apart. Of course only figuratively, she still had her vow to be a v.i.r.g.i.n.
“Im the only god who should be able to turn water into wine!”, Dionysus raged.
The merry mood he had faded. The wine he was happily drink turned sour in his mouth. Rather than a happy drunk he was slowly turning into an angry berserker! He is god of parties and his madness flows with great ferocity. There are myths were his partying get so out of hand, he and his followers would tear everything in their path in a drunken craze.
“You gals are such v.i.r.g.i.ns and always so uptight!”, a seductive voice suddenly said. It was arguably the most beautiful being in all of the realms,. Aphrodite, the goddess love and beauty! She was holding Aries’s arm. Her belief was that no woman should stay and die a v.i.r.g.i.n and live in pleasure. Her beliefs directly clashed with Athena and Artemis’s who swore to be v.i.r.g.i.ns.
“Sure thing you dame a.d.u.l.terer.”, calmly states Athena.
She was a goddess of wisdom alright, she also tried to drag in Hephaestus into the argument. The comment was aimed at her and her husband. Apollo and his faction were quietly taking in the ridicule, but she didn’t want his faction totally fall. Taking in her allie’s close sibling ties, she chose to favor Apollo’s side more. Aries’s faction was simply too strong and the divinity they achieved were high due to the faith they gathered.
The reason why the supposed husband and wife are on different factions was precisely because Aries stole Aphrodite and they often go out in secret! As the myth goes, Aphrodite was a goddess of love and “pleasure”. She wantonly goes around f*cking everyone.
Seeing this a threat to the order of Olympus, Zeus wedded her to Hephaestus, who was deformed and in other words, ugly.
Hephaestus: Dame you author! (Jk he can’t hear me!!! He’s just a fictional character, LOLOLOLOLOLOL)
As the goddesses of beauty she must have very high standards and simply wasn’t satisfied with her new husband. Her true love was with the hotty, Aries.
As Aries was god of war, Hephaestus was god of smithing. He could have provided endless weapons for Aries who l.u.s.ted for war, thus making a perfect combination, but you know why that will never come to be.
Hitting a sour spot, Hephaestus flared up in flames. While primarily know as a god of smithing he was associated with fire as well. He often smelted and created weapons by producing divine flames himself. Rather focusing on Aphrodite though he placed his anger primarily on Aries, this shows how much he still loves her.
“You stone cold b*tch”, this greatly triggered Aphrodite who feels guilty and ashamed.
“S-L-U-T”, Athena slowly pronounces. Rather than making use of her great wisdom in profound words, she choses a simple, but devastating bombshell.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhh”, screams Aphrodite in anger.
“You stole ma girl you son a b*tch”, screams Hephaestus.
The gods are about to get down!!!!!!
