5th Rated God - Volume 1 Chapter 37 Just Don't Tell Mom
“Look at me, look at me,! D-don’t cry, don’t cry!”, pleaded Horus.
What to do?!?! He never had a younger sibling before! He used a little too much strength and accidentally created a baldy. He didn’t know to to calm this little brat!
“I can fix it!”, said Horus in an uncertain tone.
“Really~ sniff?”,sobbed the crybaby. It didn’t really believe him but it still wanted to hope.
“Just don’t tell mom…”
“Then give me some faith…”, when the the little rat saw a chance it took it!
“What?”, Horus was stunned by the sudden request.
The Crafty little pigeon held out one of its wings as if it was expected something while the other was busy covering it face… Its acting skills were horrendous…
“When did this little ingrate learn to blackmail me!”, thought Horus. He was about decline and come up with some lofty excuse like he has nothing to spare and how he need every last bit of faith to protect his realm, blah, blah, blah, etcetera~
“Whaaaaaa!”, screeched the little rat.
“Ok, ok, ok, sheesh…”, hushed Horus.
He looked at the cute little tricks his little bro was playing at and looked on helplessly. In truth he didn’t mind giving some faith and wanted to spoil him a little bit as well.
With a little bit of thought a faint stream of unknown power was transferred to the little snake.
The shameless rat: Snake or rat, I’m neither! IM a cute little bird!
Confirming the transaction the loud sobs became quite sniffles. Horus looks on and rolled his eyes. This sneaky little thing…
Horus: Who are fooling!
He was at disadvantage and it didn’t seem like the rat would let him continue its training, not to mention with something to blackmail him with, he was at a impassion. This seems to be its limit…
“Alright, lets go! Training over!”, Horus gives up and relents. He turns into a majestic hawk and was about to take flight.
“Oh don’t forget to collect your tears, they should be valuable. Egyptian phoenix where created by Ra himself so they don’t have all the features of a regular phoenix, but you are different. You are more of less a genuine phoenix no matter how diluted your bloodline is”, said Horus as he remembers something important.
The shameless 5th rated actor was confused and c.o.c.ky its head sideways, “What do they want with my fake tears? Also what was phoenix?”
It has heard that phrase several times as well as being addressed as it. Wasn’t it just a cute little bird? What was phoenix and why do they always bring up how inferior I am to one….. (angry and pouty emoticon) Before it could even inquire what a phoenix was it was dragged off into a boot camp of hell!
It was merciless training day in and out. Horus grilled flight thecniques as well as combat drills into the weak little bird. It was forced to spar with the Almighty god and each time it would be smashed so hard, in mortals eyes it would like it turned into a fiery comet.
The crappy actor nonetheless followed directions and closed its eyes and willed the the tears that soaked into the dry sand. Strangely enough the water content of the tears should be evaporated by the heat of the desert, but they remained as if it was incapable to disappearing. Soon enough little droplets of water rose from the soaked sand and it gathered in its wings.
With a little bit of faith a feat as small as this was nothing. A normal god can utilize faith and make miracles as well as fuel their powers, of course they are far more skilled than this little amateur who just learned how to use it recently. In fact it took a good few minutes and if other gods saw this they wold laminate how much faith it wasted and how inefficient the little thing was.
Soon enough there was enough tears it gathered to fill half a cup. The crappy actor felt that it may have over done the crying.
“This time it worked but who knows, next time ill hold back a little to make it seem more realistic and natural…”, the little bird criticized itself. The little rat was already scheming its next plot!
Horus: This little sh!t thought he fooled me! HA!
When the crappy god was finally done with extracting the tears, it hurriedly stored it in a magical tool. Thats right! In the possession of the little thing, a magical totem in a shape of a eye was given to it by Horus himself. He pulled no stops in spoiling his cute little sibling and nonchalantly gifted a treasure that only morals can dream of, much less gods as well. It was a storage divine item! Of course the divine object can only be owned by high tier gods and lower unpopular gods can only dream of seeing it afar.
Seeing its big bro becoming a small dot in the horizon the little brat rushed to follow him.
With a burst of power, it transform into a fiery comet and chased after his big bro. In fact the little thing has made vast improvements and its speed was like that of a fighter jet! The flames it engulfed itself with, empowered it and multiplied its speed, power, regenerative powers, and other abilities as well ! This was all taught by Horus and the training he made it undergo had major result.
To be personally trained by such a high tier god, it has no idea how much it benefited, but it simply writes it off as torture. Mortals that successfully catch the attention of Horus will under go his training and if they succeed they will become a champion of a god! They would gain no end of benefits, power, and fame, while the little brat had it handed down to it on a silver platter.
Of course while the ungrateful bastard had a leap in combat power it truly wasn’t up to par with Horus’s expectations. After the whole bald situation blows over it would increase its training.
The poor little thing has many more unpleasant days ahead of it…
