5th Rated God - Volume 1 Chapter 55 Sets True Colors
“Whats taking them so long…”, currently Set was battling a hyper realistic illusion of Loki, while the real one went to retrieve the key of their realm. With that in hand he could regain his throne and gain a huge advantage over his annoying little nephew.
Set was noticing that the illusion was losing its realness and was less convincing.
“This isn’t good , it won’t hold for much longer…”, thought Set. What is happening in that dimension. Did Ra and Horus add some kind of
Set started to fire of flashier moves and moving further away from the others so they won’t notice, but he started to feel a bad precognition…

Currently in the last floor of the sealed key….
“Ahhhhhhh, they won’t die!!!”
“No matter how many times I stab them, that Phoenix just heals them back to full heath!”
“This is endless, our time is running out!”
“How is this possible for it to heal those wound inflicted by my poison?!?!”
The nine tailed fox and Loki were cursing a storm over the seemingly immortal last bosses they were facing.
Streams of violent flames spewed form the sphinx, and its powerful slash attacks were deadly. Loki and the nine tailed fox were not adept at defense, but while the attacks of the sphinx were powerful, they are slow. Unfortunately that were the little parrots comes into play with its support.
The phoenix had learned a diverse set of magic skills form Isis. After its rebirth its magics and fire conjuring abilities seem to have grown even more powerful and came to it more naturally. Fire is an innate ability of the phoenix race and with a higher rate of compatibility, the little phoenix was able to wast less energy and become much more efficient. It would cast several fire storms that brushed past the battle fields and Loki’s illusions would be disrupted. Fire in the shape of arrows would streak towards the nine tailed fox.
Even more mysteriously the fire the phoenix wielded took of different hues of color and each color had a different effect as well. Like its color scheme the exotically colored parrot conjured dark purple flames that had a lasting burning effect. If even the slightest of their body parts it would be extremely hard to extinguish. Another type of flame it had was of the holy type and was bright orange-red. This was expectably effective on the nine tased fox who faced similar energies from facing monks who wield purifying abilities.
This is unscientific! How did it gain these powers?
While the attacks of both the sphinx and mysterious phoenix seemed to have no gaps, Loki still managed to slip past the large range of attacks to pull off a miraculous assassination. It somehow sneak up on them and would cut off the head of the phoenix or state the sphinx with his poisonous dagger. Sometimes he would appear out of nowhere or illusions they thought was fake would actually turn out to be the real one. Not only that Loki started to put more effort in his illusions independent actions. The nine tailed fox was no push over either. Her beastly instincts made her a worthy foe and she used her ghostly fox fire to fight back.
While Loki and the nine tailed fox was frustrated, it went both ways with the sphinx and the little phoenix. While they seemed to be able to drive them off, they cant seem to land a finishing blow.
“This is strange, the alarms should have warned the others by now”, thought the sphinx. For them to have such a grand battle to go unnoticed was very alarming.
“The only explanation is that someone on the inside tampered with the system…”
“This isn’t good, a traitor in our midst…”, after this frightful revelation, the sphinx realized something very bad was at hand, behind the scenes.
“Should I run?”, thought the sphinx.
“The contract would be breached and my reputation would be damaged… but my life is far more important.”, after weighing the risks and rewards, he decided to abandon ship.
“Screw it, I’ll activate my trump card!”, the sphinx finally made up its mind and invoked massive amount of faith into his throat.
“Hurry and use the thing that Horus gave you!”, shouts the sphinx.
“Uh- got it!”, the exotic colored parrot knew the sphinx. was up to some thing and proceeded to take out the totem that Horus gave it for emergencies form its spacial treasure
“HUH?”, it was an instance dungeon escape item! But it was strange asit was having trouble opening a portal!
“This must be the reason why the alarm hadn’t been sounded! We are in a spacial lock!”, thought the sphinx.
Some one did tamper with the sealed dimension! Thankfully Horus had enough insight to give the little parrot such a grand gift and it proceeded to lift the spacial lock and crate a portal, but the spacial lock was proven to be high level and it was not fully opened. He had to buy more time!
“NOOOOOOO!”, shouted the fox and Loki simultaneously. They forcefully invoked massive amounts of faith into their bodies to break free. The moment the totem was taken out, they knew it was some divine item due to the fluctuation the item gave off.
“In the name of the god of riddles, STOP!”, it was the special authority of the sphinx’s godhood! As he was know for his dirty joke-er, riddles, many came to fear his daunting questions. For one who speaks with such power in his words, they began to have a mysterious effect on those who he speaks to.
The nine tailed-fox and Loki where abruptly frozen in place once again. They immediately tried to undue his binding words through brute force.
Noticing that his command won’t last long he issue another order.
He filled his mouth with a massive amount of faith and integrated it with his authority, stringing his words, that turned into a commanding decree they cant disobey.
“Show your selves!”, demanded the sphinx. All the illusions in the room disrupted. The real figures of the fox and Loki where reveled! His words echoed within the mind of his enemies.
“Ahhhhhhhh!”, screamed Loki. The voice was unblock-able and he where forced to comply and he undid “all” of his illusions.
“Answer this riddle, what does a Bleep- do to a Bleep-?”, this was his finishing blow, shoaled his opponent be unable to answer his riddle they will be frozen in place and he would receive a massive power boost!
“Its bleep-“, answers Loki with out a pause.
The sphinx:…..
The nine tailed fox: knew it. All men should be castrated. The nine tailed fox reassured with her goal and was more than ever driven to carry it out.
The innocent phoenix: What a Bleep- and a Bleep-?
“Its bleeeeeleeeeeeeep- and it goes into the bleepppppppp- which bleep- comes out.”, said Loki calmly with out missing a bleep.
The sphinx: … I was not expecting that…..
Isis: Don’t say those words again! Also don’t teach my baby that stuff!
The phoenix: Ok, mom…
Sphinx: Sorry…
The riddle was broken and quite easily at that.
“Nobody could solve that riddle for years!”, gasped the sphinx.
“Heheh”, he was the god of trickery , naturally he was well versed in such detestable way.
The sphinx: It was even recommended to me by Ra, himself!
Ra: You don’t have to tell everyone that….
The riddle was broken and so was the authority of the sphinx! His power up instantly vanished….
Loki and the Fox:”heheheheheh”, while cracking their knuckles.

Currently on the battle field.
“I knew it!”, a angry voice surprised Set form behind.
What Set saw when he turned around was a body of a gigantic frost giant , and standing triumphantly on top of it was Horus. Horus had finally slayed the leader of the giant. He had his thoughts and suspicions, but this proved them all along. He activated his glowing eye and was keeping tabs on Set the whole time.
The moment the illusion was dispelled and including the fact that his little bro activated the totem he gave it for emergencies, Horus had caught Set red handed. He had colluded with outside forces!
The mirage was dispelled! The illusions was running out of its course. The faith fueling it would have finally depleted, but it still had a good few more hours left in it. This was all due to the efforts of the sphinx! But he would find out about his contribution until later, if he even lived to hear it…
“Loki really did have an situation on his end…”, sighed Set. The plan was in shambles, and his treacherous deeds exposed!
“Oh well”, said Set unworried. While the whole facade was destroyed Set, didn’t seem too phased.
He looked up in the skies and it seemed that Ra and Amaterasu were still engaged in a devastating battle. They were really going at it with each other….
“As expected with primordial gods who are closest to the origin…”, but even if Horus is exposing him, Ra wouldn’t be able to hear them. As for the rest, he had another plan for them in mind for them…
Set dropped all formality and unleashed his wicked intentions on Horus. His failure and his disgrace was right in front of him. His little nephew that defeated him, and he will regain the throne and his honor!
“Die!!!!!”, screams Set.
He retrieves his own Khopesh sword and fiercely crossed swords with Horus.
“Lord Horus and Set have begun fighting?!?!?”, cambered the gods in panic.
“What?!?!?”
“What do we do?!?!?”
“What happening???”
They thought they had the upper hand, after Horus defeated the frost giant and the rest of the giants proceeded to retreat, but Horus suddenly rushed to attack one of their leading tacticians and leaders! Horus just slayed a powerful foe and Set was busy fighting another power enemy. Many were not aware of the situation so many were wondering if one of them betrayed other.
The monsters were mindlessly still attacking and the Egyptian forces were frozen in confusion with no leader to direct them. The Japanese forces were also in a conundrum with the unforeseen circ.u.mstance, their goddess was too busy duking it down with Ra to notice as well….
The Egyptian gods all turned to Isis for direction, as she was the now with the most seniority after Ra, Set, and Horus. With no other choice Isis was forced to be the commander temporarily.
“Lets first deal with the monster forces first!”
“Healers get in line with me!”
“Magicians regroup and ready your spells.”
“Those on the front lines retreat and fight together as a collective group!”
“Move!!!!!”, Isis wasn’t just a helpless woman. She schemed against Ra and guided her son to dethrone Set in seven over her husband who killed by him!

Isis: Sorry my lord….. but f.u.c.k you Set!
“Son… be careful”, she tenderly looked at Horus and thought of her other child as well.
“Be safe…”, she wished them.Her softened expression later hardened into a leader and she commanded the forces to deal with the problem at hand.
