The spacial portal produced by the totem, was in short very small….
But it was just big enough for the parrot to squeeze right through. It looked at the portal and it looked at the sphinx. It was faced with a tough decision. Should it leave the sphinx and escape by it self? Or should he help defend the sealed area to the death?
Naturally its action of shifting its view over to the portal and its comrade was noticed.
“Don’t you even think about it!!!”, the sphinx didn’t want to be left behind with those 2 crazy deities. For them to clear all 997 floors, they must be powerful figures.
The sc.u.mmy bird,”Sorry, dude….”, and just like that it made up its mind and slipped into the portal, leaving the sphinx behind…
“You sc.u.mmy little-!!!!!”, screamed the sphinx.
It was too late, the sc.u.mmy bird was gone, all that was left was the portal that was still open. The sc.u.mmy bird was already being sucked in towards a certain location, safe from the dangers of the fox and Loki.
The nine tailed-fox and Loki weren’t of the best characters either, but the way the strange phoenix abandoned it’s comrades without a though, had them making weird faces.
The sphinx finishing move was rendered useless and it stayed there wounded. With the sc.u.mmy bird’s support gone, along with the backlash of his ability, it was powerless.
The pair turned their attention to the sphinx with wicked smiles. One of the bosses escaped but there was one left for them to take out their anger out on. The only thing was…. that the sphinx already prostrating on the ground.
“Spare me, whoooooooo!!!!”
“I don’t want t-to d-die, wahhhhhhhh!”
“P-please spare meeeeee, wuuuuuu!”, sobbed the sphinx.
Loki and the fox soon lost their interest in torturing the pitiful sphinx. After spewing complaints one after another in a slobbish, tear filled face, both of them found the sphinx to be quite annoying. Where was the ferocious beast that held them off a moment ago?
The thing was that the sphinx was hired for a specific job of guarding the dimension. In turn Ra allowed it to gain his godhood by bestowing him as a god of riddles. Unfortunately he broke the contract and his power and faith was already fading which was once provided by those who singed the contract. He was unable to resist it as it was full proof, he even gave his secret name! In the Egyptian realm it was the scarcest of secrets and the one who knows the secret name controls the sad person. His powerful authority over riddles was broken due to it being solved along with his breech of oath, he was already reverting reverting back to a regular mortal mythical beast.
“Please I beg you-“, just as the sphinx was going to say some other nonsense it was suddenly frozen in place!
Loki was tired of his insistent begging and shameful behavior. Disgusted, he casted a simple ice spell to encase the sphinx and finally shut him up. Deeming him as no longer a threat, the only reason they didn’t kill him was due to it being to spineless, they may be able to make use of him….
The sphinx: Im saved!

The sphinx: Who cares! Pride can eat shit~,as long as I survive!
The nine tailed-fox and Loki finally cleaned up the last bosses. While they allowed one to escape they didn’t mind it due if it alerted the others. Loki already knew how his illusion was undone due to the ability of the sphinx. The farce was up, and Set must have been discovered. But no matter. They have infiltrated the secret dimension to retrieve the key of the realm and they would be able to seize control over the Egyptian world!
The fox and Loki strolled into the sealed doors and open it. They went to claim their prize and entered the sealed room…
“What!”, the fox’s shrilled voice screamed.
“Impossible!”, said Loki flabbergasted.
The grand prize they where looking, the tireless efforts they put in! All for nothing! The key wasn’t there, the sealed room was empty.
“We’ve been played!”
“That dame person who created this dame dimension!!!!”, the both of them screamed.
They were at a lost over what to do. They so angered they stormed out and immediately released the sphinx. They wanted to take out their anger on him!
“I-i submit!”, cried the sphinx. He lowered his head and bowed to the nine tailed fox and Loki as he was freed from his icy prison.
“Hehehe”, the pair said while cracking their knuckles. Their whole operation was spoiled, why would they spare him?
“Why should we not immediately bleep~ to your bleep~ and bleep~?”, sneers the fox. After that unpleasant riddle, she wanted to castrate him immediately.
“I-i have i-important information!”, the sphinx stuttered as their frightful muderus intentions where made clear. He was ready to betray his realm to save his own.

The sphinx: Your asshole of a main character betrayed me first!

The dummy bird traitor: Sorry…
“Hmmmmm? What information?”, at this reveal, the ears of the fox and Loki’s eyes perked up.
“I-i believe that H-horus did something to the key in the sealed area and perhaps the phoenix had s-something to do with it!”, answers the sphinx obediently.
“What?!?!”, the nine tailed fox narrowed her eyes. They had no reason to not trust him considering his life was on the line, but she had a surefire way to tell if he’s telling the truth.
She flexed her tailed and the aura turned from a angry murderous vixen to one of enchanted fairy. Her mystical figure seemed some how alluring and the sphinx grew increasing lovestruck. The fox strutted like a arrogant cat and she drew close to the sphinx and blew a intoxicating pink mist into the face of the sphinx.
“Tell me!!!”, the nine tailed fox urged the sphinx. She of course used her authority and injected another does of her pink mist and shook him like a rag doll.
She was a goddess of monsters, foxes, demons, and many things. As like any goddess of beauty she was easily abled to charm the weakened sphinx .After the sphinx was throughly seduced he became the love slave of the nine tailed fox! The sphinx had heart shaped eyes as he hurriedly told everything it knew about the phoenix.
Its words were quite vague and he couldn’t 100 percent guarantee that he was sure, the fox believed him anyway. No slave of hers would lie under her influence!
Loki watched form the side as the sphinx continued to look like a love fallen fool who spilled all his secrets. Most men would shiver at the thought of being controlled by the wicked fox, but Loki decided to take some notes….
He was well known to trick others and many rumors had it that he did care how he did it. Most gods had limited things they can shape shift into and generally it had to be closely related to their origin, but Loki can change into anything, even to the female gender! Naturally most of the hyper masculine gods of the Norse realm find this quiet shameful.
Legend had it he, once when a smith once wagered the fortification of the divine realm, Asgard. He proposed to build a grand wall fit to guard even the powerful gods! But he had a steep price and that was the hand of Freya as well as the sun and moon. Frey was the goddess best know for love and fertility. She was also super popular and adored by many, and she was like ,”hell no!”
But Loki said that the smith cant possible complete the task and convinced the rest of the gods to take the gamble, on the condition the smith only had the help of his horse, Svadilfari. Naturally to serve for the greater good they sacrificed Freya.
Freya:”Assholes!”
Of course the expectation of the smith failing didn’t come to be as his horse was no ordinary horse as if managed to cary and transport mountains and boulders for the construction of the wall. The horse made the construction considerably faster.
At this point Freya was freaking out at this point and she started cause a ruckus. She threatened to made all of mankind bare and infertile. She swore no-one would fall in love and or will ever bear a child ever again. In turn the gods blamed it on Loki and threatened to kill him unless he fixed the situation.
So he turned into an elegant horse and lead the massive hunk of a horse away from the smith. The smith had to chase after his horse and when he finally did the horse seemed to be tired….
The horse wasn’t able to work as hard and carry as many boulders…. The smith failed to uphold his part of the bet and failed to make the deadline. He knew they played a dirty trick but was unable finish the wall. Angered the smith reveled himself as a frost giant! The mortal enemies of the norse gods!
He was then quickly killed cus like what he gonna do in front of the entire Norse pantheon? Thor the god of Thunder, the mightiest god, finished him of with his hammer and he died. Later on Loki brings in a majestic horse with 8 legs and gifted the magnificent steed to the Odin, the god of wisdom and the leader of the Norse realm. Just like that Loki managed to doge a bullet and no-one knew where the 8 legged horse came from… and it was named Sleipnir.
Anyway after it was confirmed what the sphinx speculated, “We’ve been fooled!”, they both thought.
Their neck turned with a snap and their eyes wanted to burn the portal left behind by the totem. They remembered how the phoenix ran without hesitation and they allowed it to escape without a thought. They started to speculate that the missing key must have to do with the phoenix as well for it to have an escape plan.
The fox took the sphinx by the nap like a cub and together with Loki left into the void of the portal.
“Well catch you and have some phoenix fried wings!”

The battlefield of the gods was in chaos and even looked on as Set and Horus the 2 main leaders of their side fighting. The situation was not clear and they were still in the middle of a war.
“BROOOOOOOO!”, suddenly a very obnoxious and annoying voice thunders through the battlefield.
All the monsters, gods, and mortals look up. They see a very strange winged creature.
“Little Sun?!?!?!”, gasped Isis. Even if it gained a new look she still sensed it was her little baby. What was going on. Wasn’t he safe in the sealed area? Also why did it seem much stronger than before? It even had 2 pair of wings, giving it 4 wings? It even looked bigger and more majestic than before too.
