5th Rated God - Volume 1 Chapter 61 The Sky And Earth Reunite

Every single Egyptian god stared at the approaching victory of Set. They were doomed!!! Every inch his claws were closer to grabbing the key, they started to recall the past. They had to relive the dark days when he was in control! While Horus was a benevolent ruler, Set was a unfeeling tyrant. He waged war against other realms and benefited from the chaos and misery. While war was not necessary a bad thing and they can gain territory, power, and fait, he did it excessively.

“I won’t let you!!!”, like a unwavering heroin Isis made her move at the perfect time! The 7 colored light she generated before, but this time erected a 7 colored barrier! Set’s claws was bounced back as he reached for the key.

“You-“, Set fumes with anger.

He faces Isis only to be met a bunch of elemental attacks! It was the other gods!!! They had been healed and under the leadership of Isis, on her command they all chanted their spells and earth, fire, and other energy attacks were sent to obstruct Set.

“Lower insects!!!”, said set as he felt disrespected by the pitiful attacks of lesser gods. As a hight level god the attacks were not fatal and did barely any damage. It was negligible, but the very same combined efforts of the lower gods were just what was needed in that situation.

Set was successfully warded off for a few seconds! He conjured a energy ball containing his authority and a blast of red bombards the barrier that Isis erected. He also sent a blast towards the lower gods who dared attacked him. The 7 colored barrier was shattered and Isis was forced to erect a new one to protect them form Set’s attacks.

SLASH!!!! In comes Horus as he swing his blade. He caught up! Set ignores this and risked the injury and reaches for the key. Noticing this Horus also abandoned the offensive and hurried to reach for it as well.

Set manages to grab the Fail, Horus cluches the Crook. They inject their divine power and try to take hold over it. Cosmic power was injected into their minds and they welled up in power! The only thing was that it was too much! They didn’t know how to control it and all they could do was try and suppress it from overflowing. Their wills collide in a imaginary world and both of them desperately clinged on to the part of the key they were holding. Like a tug of war they pulled at key and tried to gain dominance over the other. They both were powerful gods so the pressure they excepted on the key was substantial. Unable to take the sides from tugging on it, the cross shape the fail and crook was in was pried apart! The key was just split physically, but spiritually as well! It was a tie! just what will result in the key being split?

As the key was rendered into 2 Set and Horus were flung from their position as a huge bang was produced just as the crook and fail was separated. The two both had a headache as massive amount of power and information was flooding their minds as they held the key. Before they could come too, the space started to tremble.

The earth and sky tumbled. The Key was what kept the rule and laws in place. Now the it was broken the Land and Sky where free to do what they want. It was the god, Geb, and the goddess, Nut, that have been kept apart as punishment for eons!!! They were the foundation of what made up their realm. Their authorities and powers were partially sealed within the key and now that they were free from their bondage they were eager to meet once again.

All the territories and planets bounded by the key started to enter a chaotic state. The air was unstable and the land shook with glee. Powerful weather phenomenons starts to ignite to symbolize the delight of the two lovers reuniting. A phantom of a man made of sand and dirt appeared and silhouette of a woman of glittering stars took form. They started to hug one another in a loving embrace, but should they meet it would be a devastating collusion!

Up in space a disheveled woman in a kimono was breathing heavily.

“HA- HA-“, she panted.

A old man with a bird head was touching his back as if he was an old man with back pain.

“Hew~”, huffed a bird man queasily.

These were the 2 celestial sun god and goddess that every one bowed to in reverence, Ra and Amaterasu…

They where both at their limits and were in a a temperately truce to catch their breaths.

They both studied their breaths and then calmed their spirts. They locked eye and decided to end it.

Amaterasu garments started to glow and a divine long kimono materializes and clothes her. It was the same divine garments that her brother wreaked that caused to to retreat in sadness!!!

Legend has it that Amaterasu and her bother Susanoo, the storm god, had a strong sibling rivalry and he claimed he was better fit to rule the heavily realm. Eventually they decided to have a bet over who can create better gods out of object from each of them.

Amaterasu took his sword and created three women. Susanoo took her necklace and created five men. Obviously Amaterasu lost, but she was not having any of it and she claimed that because the necklace was hers, the men were hers. Meanwhile, the women she had produced from his sword were his. Thanks to her clever interpretation of the rules, Amaterasu won the contest.

Susanoo: You can’t flip the rules!!!!

Amaterasu:Yes I can!

Every one agreed with her and perhaps it was due to Susanoo being unruly guy, he wasn’t very popular in the heavenly realm…

Susanoo: You cheated!!!

Amaterasu: Its the power of popularity!

The 3 women and 5 men, new gods who where created from a petty bet:…

Enraged by this result, Susanoo went on a destructive rampage. He destroyed his sister’s rice field before killing one of her horses and hurling its body at her sacred loom. This thrown horse killed one of her handmaidens and caused Amaterasu to flee in grief. Susanoo was already in hot water for being wantonly wreaking havoc and kill important flowers of the gods in the earthly realm and was banished following his rampage. But unfortunately without Amaterasu, the world remained dark and stormy. That was how her shameful nickname of a shut in came to be.

Eventually Susanoo went on a adventure and stuff happened and eventually her garments were successfully made. (For another chapter…)
