5th Rated God - Volume 1 Chapter 9 Screw It
The godly creature really felt that the heavens were truly unfair.
“Why? Just why did have to be this one?”, the godly beast cried inwardly.
It really felt like doing a face palm-er, face paw.
“Come closer…”, said the godly beast in resignation.
“Yes father!”, yipped the shameless god happily.
“Eh! Screw it!”, thought the godly beast as it wore a fake smile and tried to trick the little hideous thing.
The ugly little thing,”Uhwa, fathers smile is so scary…”,it didn’t dare say this out load though. It just quietly got closer as instructed.
“Little one, do you yearn for power?”, the godly beast faced a grin full of teeth.
“No…I’m not worthy…”, said the shameless god, while thinking,”Yes!Yes!Yes!”, greedily.
“I believe you have what it takes.”, said the godly beast, while sighing in his mind,”What a disappointing inheritor.”
While both said one thing they were actually thinking of another.
“I don’t have much time left, you will inherit all that is mine.”, said the godly beast.
At the same time it was thinking, “Tsk! if only it weren’t for the circ.u.mstances, this mutt sure is lucky!”
While the godly beast was drowning in unwillingness, the little chihuahua thought,”Ha Ha! Today is my lucky day!”
“If… you say so…”, said the shameless god, trying to sound modest.
“Sighhhhhhhhhhh….”, the godly beat let out a long sigh and proceeded to steel its will.
The beast proceeded to lower its head onto the ground and gestured the little dog to touch foreheads with it. The little mutt obeyed.
A strange feeling then proceeded to perturbed into the little god. It felt like something was entering its mind, it seemed hard to grasp… it was there and not there at the same time. Like how you forget where your slippers are even though you knew you placed it just a few minutes ago.
While pondering over that vague feeling, unbeknownst to the little god, a lump started to gradually grow on its side of its neck…
The silly little atmosphere disappeared and the godly beast started to sweat bullets. Its face was scrunched up and its eyes heavily furrowed. It was taking all it had to concentrate. It was heavily injured to boot and it was exerting much of its energy to pass on what was left of its life.
While the godly beast was in such a sorry state the ugly little pug was drooling from its mouth… It seemed quite comfortable. It felt much smarter and stronger. It felt it could do things it could never do in the past.
After some time there was a shocking event happened to the godly beast. Its body was turning transparent, it was like its very being was flickering in and out of reality. It was time, time for the godly beast to leave the world. It had just done what it wanted and passed on its heritage, just in time.
“Sighhhhhhhh….”, the godly beast lets out now last sigh. One not of disappointment but one of relief and satisfaction.
It looked at the sky, it looked at the forest. It took in everything and simply relaxed and merged with nature. It look over at the little pug monster as it stood there with its head tilted and drooling from its mouth.
Seeing it at its deathbed one last time the godly beast looked at it with genuine sincerity of wanting the little mutt to succeed. It didn’t look as disappointed as before and even found it hilariously amusing.
“Will this little dog make it? Will it succeed in what I failed?”, these thoughts filled the godly beast mind as it started to fade out of reality.
“Its really all up to you…, I pray future generations will obtain the paradise…”
“I failed my epic….. I failed to change my fate as a stepping stone to that bastard.”
“Don’t ever follow the script, create your own story…..”, echoed the beasts voice as it dissipated to nothing.
