94 Diagon Alley - Chapter 249
The crown came down from her wrist and held it in her hand. He looked carefully and barely made out the small words engraved on it: Extraordinary ingenuity is the greatest treasure of mankind. “I just said that if I knew that Li Huo was useful, I wouldn’t try my best to bring the crown out.”
“Who knows what those flames do except Hermione?” Ron said nonchalantly, “You’re right, man. We’ve got to make sure the Horcruxes are actually wiped out—basilisk’s. Teeth are the best weapon known.”
“This time it’s up to you.” Harry handed the crown to Ron and Hermione, his eyes aching from the smoke. “You haven’t had the fun yet.”
Hermione looked at Ron nervously, and the latter smiled and took out a yellow and dirty snake tooth. Hermione coughed again and put her hand on Ron’s.
“Are you ready? Listen to me, one, two…Merlin’s pants! Three!” Hermione screamed.
Ron was a little embarrassed: “…Oh, I thought I could do it by counting to two.”
Something bloody, black and sticky seemed to be seeping from the crown. Suddenly, Harry felt the crown vibrate violently, then shatter into pieces in his hand. As it split, Harry faintly heard the faintest, most distant scream of pain, not from the castle or the playground, but from what had just shattered between his fingers.
“Another one was wiped out, and now only the serpent remains…”
Hermione didn’t finish her words, as screams, shouts, and distinct fighting sounded throughout the corridor. Harry looked around, and his heart sank: the Death Eaters had completely invaded Hogwarts. Fred and Percy stepped back, both dueling the hooded, masked man.
Harry, Ron and Hermione ran up to help, streaks of light shot in all directions, the man who was fighting Percy backed away quickly, his hood slipped, and they saw him High forehead and variegated hair.
“Hello, Minister!” Percy shouted, and uttered a curse at Sinkness. Sinkness threw away his wand and grabbed the chest of the robe with his hands, obviously very uncomfortable. “Did I say I was resigning?” Percy added.
“You’re kidding, Percy!” cried Fred, and the Death Eater he was fighting with collapsed under the blow of three stun spells. Sinkenis fell to the ground, with many small nails emerging from his body, as if he was turning into a kind of sea urchin. Fred looked at Percy happily.
“You’re joking, Percy…I haven’t heard you joke in a long time, since you—”
The air suddenly exploded. They had just gathered together, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, Percy, and the two Death Eaters at their feet, one with a Stunning Charm and one with a Transfiguration Charm. The world was torn apart at a moment when danger seemed to be imminent. Harry felt himself flying into the air, and he could only hold on tight to the thin stick, his only weapon, and put his arms around his head. He heard the shouts and screams of his companions, but he couldn’t know what happened to them—
The moment they were blasted into the air, the people of Hogwarts were enveloped in warm, bright bubbles. They don’t understand what’s going on.
“It’s Dumbledore!” A student screamed excitedly, pointing to the Astronomy Tower.
Falling rocks and clods were crashing on the bubbles, and many people couldn’t see it at all. But Harry took advantage of a gap to see the blurry figure from a distance – the tall, thin headmaster with a white beard.
How could it be him? Harry couldn’t believe it himself, and many times he called Dumbledore’s name, begging for his help, but all of them didn’t answer. If he did come back, why didn’t he come to find himself? How much he needed this wise man to point him in the right direction.
Then the bubbles slowly lowered the students to the ground. The bright yellow bubbles gradually shrank and became clinging to them. A feeling of incomparable exhilaration flowed through the body, as if there were limitless opportunities. Harry thought of the effects of phlegm.
The corridor has just been horribly attacked. The cold air told him the side of the castle had been blown off, and the warm, sticky feeling on his cheek told him that he was still bleeding despite being saved by miraculous magic. Then, he heard a scream that made him worry. Harry stood up staggeringly, the warmth just disappeared in an instant, he was terrified, more terrified than at any time in his day, in his life…
Hermione struggled to her feet from the rubble, and three red-haired men gathered where the wall had been blown away. Harry grabbed Hermione’s hand, and the two stumbled past rubble and shards of wood.
“No-no-no!” someone shouted, “No! Fred! No!”
Percy rocked his brother, Ron knelt beside them, Fred’s eyes were tightly closed, blood all over his head.
The Battle of Hogwarts (Part 2)
Before the battle.
Gwen crossed the playground against the biting night wind, stumbling to the vicinity of the beater willow.
This wild willow tree was planted outside the forbidden forest. The quiet forest made Gwen a little terrified.
She buries more than a dozen decoy bombs near the roots of the tree. It was so dark that Gwen didn’t dare to use fluorescent flashes at will—that was almost like illuminating a living target for the opponent. But she couldn’t remember where the knots were. Avoiding repeated attacks from the branches, Gwen could only circle the portable swamp halfway around the tree.
Just as she breathed a sigh of relief, Gwen faintly heard strange sounds in the Forbidden Forest.
I made a bad decision, she thought. Gwen stepped back towards the ring of rocks near Hagrid’s hut behind him, trying not to make any noise from his movements.
I hope the night can hide my figure. Gwen’s hand on the wand trembled slightly. Because she will not silently cast the Illusory Body Charm on herself.
A dozen Death Eaters filed out of the dark forbidden forest. The edge of the Forbidden Forest happened to be the magical barrier that the professors had just erected, temporarily trapping the Death Eaters outside.
The reason why it is temporary is that the guys in the hoods are grinning and attacking the silver protective cover, and the sound of the curse hitting it makes Gwen’s eardrums hurt.
“Merlin, they didn’t plan to enter through the secret passage at all, but broke into Hogwarts from the Forbidden Forest in a grand manner.”
She realized that she had to notify the people in the castle immediately, fearing that the Death Eaters would soon be able to break through the barrier.
It’s too late to run back now, no one will pay attention to D.A.’s Kim Galleon. The only option is the Patronus.
Gwen, who was hiding behind the ring of rocks and the giant pumpkin, took a deep breath, but she was too scared. She was alone, with a whole dozen vicious Death Eaters in front of her—she couldn’t cast the Patronus Charm.
What happens when it is sent? Gwen closed his eyes in despair, and a silver-white animal emerged out of the darkness, and the Death Eaters would have noticed him.
A sound of glass breaking interrupted her meditation, and the leading dark wizards had successfully broken the strong protective cover into a long crack.
No time to hesitate, Gwen. She said to herself, if my intelligence can alert the rear, it’s not a loss.
Archie’s Hunt – George, I wish I could protect you.
“Go to Moody, go to Kingsley, go to Lupin…anyone, tell them that a large number of Death Eaters are invading Hogwarts at the Forbidden Forest border in the northwest corner.” Gwen Thinking hard, finally, a silver smoke came out from the tip of the wand.
Fortunately my Patronus is a bird, I hope it will not be found.
“The Patronus!” shouted a Death Eater. “There’s a little **** hiding in front of him – hurry up, this thing will collapse soon.”
Gwen’s legs are weak, but she can’t just run, she must fight to stop the Death Eaters from entering the castle. If necessary, she could be Hogwarts’ first line of defense, like all other members of the Order of the Phoenix.
Use your brain, silly girl. What spell would stop this group of people – not just a single Death Eater.
Gwen put her left hand in front of the boulder in front of her, and when she saw the boulders on the ground and the large pumpkin nearby, she felt that she might have a chance to slow down the attack of the Death Eaters – only Pray that the Order of the Phoenix will arrive as soon as possible.
Gwen directed a bunch of pumpkins with his wand like a painting, with a few rocks the size of Hagrid’s head hidden in the middle. Let them stop erratically in mid-air.
With a loud explosion, the shield that was riddled with holes finally completely disappeared. The Death Eaters stepped onto the Hogwarts grounds screaming and laughing.
“Wadi Vasi! All arrows!” Gwen waved his wand when he saw that they were heading in the direction of the castle.
“Pumpkin?” The Death Eaters couldn’t believe their eyes, “Do you think this is a Halloween celebration?” They easily blocked most of the attacks, only a few were hit by Hagrid The giant pumpkin smashed his head, hung a few pumpkin seeds and juice on his face, and was disliked by his companions.
“Enough,” said Dolokhov, the leading Death Eater, angrily, “Let’s go ahead. Avery, you go and kill that **** rat – it’s hiding in Behind the rock!”
A terrifying green light soon hit the boulder in front of Gwen, and she rolled to the right, realizing that her combat prowess was nothing compared to theirs.
Always give it a try. Gwen pair
