99 Days Trapped in the Body of the Royal Prince’s Wife - Chapter 51
After negotiating with Fabrizio, Clara decided to immediately return to the mansion because she didn’t want Nathan and her to have a big problem, especially since she’s always been mean to him.
Clara left the taxi, then walked through the gates of the mansion, put her feet on the terrace until she finally arrived at the living room, and met Patricia who was about to leave the mansion.
“Are you going home?” asked Clara with a straight look.
“Of course not, because as long as Frederica is here, I will stay here,” Patricia replied curtly. She glanced at Clara sarcastically, then said, “There was a massive search here, and I’ve heard that the culprit is Nathan’s secretary…After all this, are you and your husband still anticipating my presence? Are you guys going to keep accusing me of being a scheming woman?”
“Unfortunately I can’t believe what came out of today’s search…I’m sure this all must have been arranged with your mom, and one day, there will be a time when you and your mom will be proven guilty!”
“Oh yes?” Patricia smiled sarcastically and looked away for a moment, then glanced at Clara again. “I’m waiting for the evidence, and I don’t think you’ll find any evidence because neither I nor my mom did it!’
“Just watch, it will be proven soon!”
Clara immediately entered the mansion, not wanting to wait for Patricia’s date anymore. She walked into the living room and glanced at Frederica who was playing on the couch with her Nanny.
‘Could it be that Frederica is not Nathan’s biological child? and I’m sure Felix knows who her real father is because he always gets a positive result for every DNA test for Nathan and Frederica, while Nathan continues to feel like he never got Patricia pregnant. Besides being able to find out who the mastermind behind the poison case was from Felix, of course, I can also find out who Frederica’s real father is. It’s all centered on Felix… He’s not as good as Nathan thought, I think he’s the real traitor!’ Clara thought to herself, imagining Felix who Nathan trusted so much that Nathan would prefer to defend him.
“Mama!”
Clara snapped out of her thoughts when she heard her voice call out to her. She smiled faintly when she saw Federica coming up to her with a small jog, then greeted her by directly carrying her.
“Mom, where have you been yesterday? Why don’t you buy something for me?” Frederica asked in her cute voice and still not fluent way of speaking.
“It’s a shame mommy didn’t have time to buy something for you, but later we can invite daddy to buy whatever you want,” Clara replied with a smile.
Frederica pouted, then lowered her head to play with the chest of Clara’s top.
“Don’t be angry, sweetheart. Mommy will keep mom’s promise,” said Clara, then kissed Frederica’s slightly chubby cheek. “Oh, yeah.. have you eaten?” She asked.
“Sure, but I want chocolate chip cookies,” replied Frederica spoiled.
“Oh, well then we can make cookies now,” Clara said casually, leading Frederica into the kitchen. She didn’t feel lazy at all, instead, she felt sorry for the boy as if she was just being used by Patricia, then Nathan was often rude to her even though she didn’t know anything.
Arriving at the mansion’s kitchen, which was so magnificent and equipped with all kinds of sophisticated and versatile cooking utensils, Clara sat Frederica down on the pantry. after that, she put her bag on the chair, then turned to open the cupboard to find the ingredients for the chocolate chip cookies Frederica wanted.
“Mom,” Frederica called.
“Yes, love?” said Clara, now starting to stir all the ingredients using a special mix.
“There was a lot of police here, I was scared because everyone was being investigated except for me,” said Frederica innocently.
Clara smiled, glancing at Frederica, who was faithfully waiting for her to finish making cookies. “Of course, you are not checked, because you are still small, still cute and you are very holy. You have to do good in this world, then you don’t have to deal with the police,” she said.
“Does that mean mommy is bad?” Frederica asked.
“No, mommy isn’t bad for sure.”
“But I saw her being searched by the police… Like the others too.”
“A police search isn’t necessarily a bad thing, sweetheart… The police do that to make sure who’s been the bad people all along,” Clara explained carefully, not wanting to make Frederica hate anyone.
“I hear about poison earlier.”
Clara immediately focused on Frederica. “Do you know something?” She asked.
“I remember mommy was poisoned at the party, and the police were talking about poison too,” replied Frederica as if remembering. “Were all the police searched because mommy was poisoned?”
“Yes, honey. But you don’t need to think about that. It’s an adult’s business,” Clara called back to focus on her activities. She finished making the dough, then brought the dough in front of Frederica.
Clara invited Frederica to form the cookies together, invites her to talk about sweet things and a little educational. Indeed, mingling with the girl made her mood improve again as if it reminded her of her childhood that did not get the attention of her parents.

Oskar was sitting in the chair Casey used to sit in because, since Casey’s accident, he’s been in control of the company. It’s just that it hasn’t satisfied him because the power is only temporary, while he wants it forever.
“Make a letter of transfer for this company in my name, because it would be very troublesome if I had to ask for daddy’s signature or Casey’s thumbprint on every important document,” said Oskar curtly.
“That’s not what daddy can do,” said Robert who was sitting relaxed on the couch.
“Dad, why you can’t?”
“Because that would make his trusted attorney suspect that we were the ones who had… Ah, forget it.” Robert cut his sentence. “We’re only allowed to do that when it’s absolutely certain that Casey won’t come back to her senses, and . . . And may die . . we don’t have to bother to snatch her inheritance.”
“But she’s still alive, dad!”
“She’ll be dead, believe me,” said Robert nonchalantly.
Oskar sighed, then stood up and walked over to his father saying, “the thing is we have to do this quickly before it all gets out of hand.”
“What do you mean?” asked Robert.
“There’s someone secretly investigating Casey’s car again…I don’t want everything to be exposed before the wealth is mine,” replied Oskar seriously, then sat down beside his father. “I don’t know who the mastermind of all this is, but it is certainly a dangerous person who will not let Casey’s wealth fall into our hand!”
“We’ll do something to the car but in a very neat way, then after that daddy will find out about who has dared to investigate the car,” said Robert blankly as if he was thinking of a strategy.
“We have to hurry, Dad…We don’t know who that person is and what his tactics are,” said Oskar angrily.
“You don’t have to worry. We’ll destroy them even if they have evidence that we’re the ones who made the car crash..they will die by our hand before reporting all this to the police,” said Robert calmly.
“Do you already know who might interfere in this matter?” asked Oscar.
“Soon we will know,” said Robert then stood up. “Now, daddy has to go to take care of this matter with someone that daddy can rely on. You calm down,” he continued as he walked out of the room.
Oskar was silent, still feeling uneasy, because his steps to control all Casey’s wealth seemed to be hindered. hmm, could it be that Clara and Fabrizio would be in danger because of this?
