99 Days Trapped in the Body of the Royal Prince’s Wife - Chapter 91
Nathan and Clara entered the best restaurant in San Francisco which looks so luxurious with golden-white nuances dominated by modern white furniture and decorated with decorative flowers in every corner of the room and beautiful and luxurious chandeliers. they were immediately greeted by the restaurant manager and then invited to enter the VVIP room that had been ordered by Nathan.
Arriving in the room, they sat on a yellowish-white sofa, enjoying their meal while waiting for Fabrizio, who had not yet arrived.
“Why hasn’t he come yet. Have you told him to meet us here yet?” asked Clara who was sitting next to Nathan?
Nathan reached into his jacket pocket and said, “I’ll call him now. I’m afraid he could be in danger like Erick and the cop.”
“Okay.”
Clara sat casually playing with her phone, occasionally glancing at Nathan who was calling Fabrizio. The woman was relieved that she had finally found a way to openly investigate this case with Nathan without having to hide again, but there was another sense of relief that Nathan was willing to help her as Casey.
‘He’s nothing to me, but he cares so much just because I’m Clara’s friend. Is it possible that if he knew that I was in this body but I didn’t confess for a long time, he would be angry? but I don’t think he has the right to know because that would make him feel lost in no time?’ Casey’s soul spoke, glancing in Nathan who has finished the call.

After a few minutes of waiting, Nathan and Clara finally saw Fabrizio coming with Paulina. Of course, it made Nathan frown, because he didn’t know that Paulina was Fabrizio’s lover, even this time he saw Nathan’s face.
“Paulina… How come he can be with Paulina?” Nathan whispered.
“I don’t know either,” Clara said quietly, pretending she didn’t know Fabrizio.
Nathan stood up and shook hands with Fabrizio who smiled warmly at him while Paulina looked awkward, while Clara was friendly to Paulina but pretended to be awkward to Fabrizio. hmm… Looks like they’re all showmen.
“Sorry for making you wait too long,” said Fabrizio side by side with Paulina.
“It doesn’t matter because I just got here too,” Nathan said with a friendly smile and then glanced at Paulina. “Are you guys a couple?” he asked.
“Yeah… She’s my girlfriend,” Fabrizio replied with a smile glancing at Paulina for a moment then looking back at Nathan. “And I also have freed her from the poison case that ensnared her…I hope you are not angry because I have proof that she is innocent even though on the CCTV it looks like she entered the secretary’s room, but it wasn’t her… I have proven that to the police,” he continued.
Nathan nodded his head then said “after Paulina was arrested, actually I also doubt that she put the poison in my wife’s drink..but the evidence was very clear and made me unable to do anything but wait for proof from her that she was indeed innocent. And it turns out you helped her.”
“Because she is my girlfriend and I will not let her suffer in the jail. I also won’t let innocent people go to prison just like that, because the main perpetrators deserve to be punished,” said Fabrizio, occasionally glancing at Clara who was just listening to his conversation with Nathan.
Nathan sighed, silent with his gaze in any direction. the man became anxious because it turned out that the main character was not Paulina, making him wonder who the real main character was.
“I’m still suspicious of Felix because he was the one who searched even though you only asked him to investigate Aunt Liora and Patricia,” Clara said breaking the silence.
Nathan was still silent, thinking about whether Felix might betray him or not.
“I can investigate Felix,” said Fabrizio. “I also agree with your wife’s opinion. It could be that this man named Felix cooperated with the main perpetrator in the poison tragedy..maybe he was asked to slander Paulina to keep the main culprit safe, and maybe he can continue his crime.”
“But Felix has been loyal to me all this time,” Nathan said angrily.
“But you have to remember, all the problems that happened to you, only made you more cornered when you asked Felix to solve it,” Clara said, patting Nathan on the shoulder. “Could it be he have worked with Patricia and Aunt Liora so far..that’s why you are never out of trouble because he is the cause of the problem,” she continued.
Nathan still hesitated, making Clara fill the void to call the waiter to order food and drinks for Fabrizio and Paulina.
“If you still have doubts about my offer to investigate Felix, that’s fine because my main goal is to solve Casey’s accident case,” Fabrizio said after a few minutes of glancing at Nathan who looked doubtful.
“I have to rethink the Felix issue..and now we just focus on Casey’s accident problem,” Nathan said then leaned his body on the couch bench while crossing his legs. he looked at Fabrizio who looked handsome wearing black jeans combined with a cream-colored top and a black cotton shirt, while Paulina wore a white overalls dress and let her hair down just like that.
“I still have the evidence from the investigation,” said Fabrizio, then took a flash drive from his jacket pocket. “In this flash drive, there are many things about the accident that happened to Casey,” he continued, handing the flash drive to Nathan.
Nathan grabbed the flash drive then looked at it seriously as if he was thinking.
“With that evidence, we can send the main perpetrators to prison,” said Fabrizio.
“But who was the main culprit? And what exactly happened to Casey’s car?” Nathan wondered because he didn’t know about the car that had the brakes missing.
“It was proven that the brakes of the car failed, causing an accident. However, during the first investigation, the police said that the cause of the accident was the negligence of the driver, then Casey’s cousin named Oskar just closed the case,” explained Fabrizio seriously. “And somehow the police investigating the case sold the car to Los Angeles to a used car dealer named Dance Riot, then the car was bought back by a man named Russell…This is what makes me suspect that and the police deliberately let the car sell until it changes ownership, the car will be fixed so that no one else owns the car,” he continued.
“Makes sense,” Nathan said, rubbing his chin. “That means it’s possible that Oskar asked the cop to provide false evidence, then let the car be sold so no one would bring up the case again.”
“Yeah, and I was so lucky I found the car at Russell’s house just as it was about to be repaired . . I’m pretty close with Casey, so I find it weird if the car is just being sold while she is the owner hasn’t recovered from a coma. it made me interested in investigating the accident case because I was worried that this accident was intentional,” explained Fabrizio, occasionally glancing at Clara who only listened to the conversation.
Nathan nodded his head then remembered about Erick and the police investigating the accident a few days ago. “And maybe the people who don’t like my way of investigating this case are Oskar and the cop… Maybe he’s a traitor cop,” he said.
“Indeed, because I already knew that they were ordering thugs to harm your trusted person and the policeman,” said Fabrizio calmly, instantly surprising Nathan because he knew everything. hmm, even Clara already knows everything but remains silent because she doesn’t want to offend her for doing an investigation without his knowing.
