A Bite of Hogwarts - chapter 51
Alina raised her right hand and played around with her silver hair. A smile appeared on her face as she leisurely walked forward.
The seemingly muscular Crabbe and Goyle hadn’t been able to last even half a second in front of Alina and had been one-sidedly beaten into the ground.
Draco Malfoy finally recalled the fear instilled in him one month ago by a silver-haired girl in Diagon Alley, the despair he had felt at the disparity in strength.
“Wait…hold on.”
Draco Malfoy’s face paled even more, and he hastily held up the sticky toad, the one Crabbe had thrown toward him before charging in. He clenched the toad-like it was a life-saving rope as he began to hurriedly speak.
“We just came over to deliver this toad. Look at how healthy it is. We were very careful when capturing it…”
Glancing at a little trembling Malfoy who was still trying his best to sort things out, Alina couldn’t hide a gleam of joy in her eyes. Raising an eyebrow, she slowly raised her right hand.
Draco closed his eyes in fright when he saw Alina raised her hand, subconsciously lowering his head. “Urgh, I really just wanted to help out…”
Tap.
To his surprise, he didn’t feel any pain, only slightly cold fingers lightly tapping his head and a gentle voice in his ear.
“I understand. Thank you. If you want to make friends, remember next time to not be so proud.”
Eh?!
Draco cautiously opened an eye and saw that seemingly fragile and delicate face right in front of him, so close that he could count every one of her slightly trembling eyelashes.
“Let me introduce myself. I am Alina, Alina Kaslana.”
Alina mussed up Draco Malfoy’s neat hair, stood up, looked around at the compartment, and giggled as she clapped her hands.
“Alright, it seems like this was all a misunderstanding.”
“Then, I still think…”
Draco almost subconsciously tried to complain. Even now, he still didn’t understand what was going on. It felt like he was being targeted.
“Mm?”
Alina subtly glanced behind her and softly snorted. Draco shivered and immediately shut his mouth.
Very good. It seemed like the children of noble families had a very high capacity for comprehension. Alina smiled as she looked around the compartment.
“In a distant eastern country, there’s a saying that goes; you can’t get to know each other unless you fight. Now that all the misunderstandings have been addressed, you are all friends. Any problems with that?”
“No, none.”
“Mm, I heard my father say this once.”
“Miss Alina is right.”
Harry, Ron, and Malfoy all exchanged glances and then glanced at the smiling silver-haired girl in the center of the compartment. They weakly nodded in unison while voicing their agreement.
“Hey, hey, and the two of you. Don’t keep lying on the ground and acting dead. I intentionally avoided any dangerous parts. Relax, I won’t hit you again. But if you dared to trick me…”
Alina nodded in satisfaction and then kicked the two ‘corpses’ on the ground. She had never seen someone unconscious move their eyelids so rapidly. Goyle and Crabbe were clearly worse actors than the children in the village.
“No more, no more! I’m getting up!”
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! We really didn’t mean it.”
Draco watched in surprise as he saw Crabbe and Goyle, who he had believed to have sacrificed their lives to protect him, open their eyes and stand up.
Crabbe, in particular, who had been the second to fall, shot to his feet. As for Goyle, he was rather dizzy and needed Crabbe’s help to steady himself.
While great waves were surging through little Malfoy’s mind, Alina happily looked around at the children in the compartment and pointed her thumb at herself.
“Very good. In the future, if anyone at school tries to bully you, you can rely on Big sister to support you.”
Just as Benitez had said and Alina had long ago figured out, the fastest way to integrate with a new school environment was to start a fight with her fellow students.
The success of this method had been proved in the orphanage and in the village’s school, and it was now showing its applicability in Hogwarts.
Alina felt a sense of accomplishment as Harry’s group introduced themselves to Malfoy’s group.
Thus, she was a kindhearted angel who helped other students make friends! For what reason did the principal have to call her over every week? It was clearly the teachers in the village who were intentionally discriminating against her!
