A Cultivation Tale: The Godly Punisher - Chapter 376
In another Greatverse…
“Master, let me go to help you retrieve Empyrean Firelight’s bow.” A young female that looked twenty asked an old woman in front of her.
“Have you discovered where it’s located?” A woman that had an oppressive aura of power churn around her asked with curiousness in her tone.
“Yes, Master Deathsky” The young girl said.
“Hmm. That’s good. Go on then. Go and retrieve it.” The old woman called Deathsky said.
Then the young female who knelt before her master stood to her feet and left her master’s presence.
The same thing that occurred here was also happening in many other Oververses.
Young disciples of some people that had powerful, extremely suppressive auras boundlessly discharging from their bodies, could be seen requesting from their masters that they be given the permissions to go to a particular state in a particular Mortal World.

By the time Alex would get there, the disciples of those dreadfully powerful people had arrived where the god-forged bow was located.
When Alex sensed the gathering of many people at the late-phase and peak-phase, Heaven Adept stage in this place when he totally expected no one to be there, his eyes shone with shock.
“Who are these people? Are they students of the Demon-chasing academy?” Alex questioned himself with pondering gaze in his eyes.
Then he decided to be careful around here so as not to trip some sorts of alarms that would alert everyone here that an invader or trespasser had come in.
After carefully stepping around till he got a place to hide himself from view and see who these people were, since their auras seemed more powerful and domineering than the late-phase and peak-phase, Heaven Adept-stage cultivators that he had fought in this world, he focused on his eyes and activated the Heavenly Mystery Revealment God-eyes.
Once he did so, with the divine eyes suddenly appearing, he used them to see who these people were.
Then to his shock, he saw that these people don’t belong around here. They seemed young, very much like him with only a few amongst their massive gathering older than him. But they were already in the late-phase and peak-phase Heaven Adept stage.
Alex only shook his head in the next instant when he reasoned that these people weren’t from around here but from a higher world, since they looked younger and radiated a fierce, overbearing aura of power that can’t be matched by even the fused aura of three Heaven Adept stage cultivators.
He then exhaled heavily.
He basically understood that if he tries to go against them, he would be in a for a very serious battle, since these guys, due to the fearsome auras of power rampantly emitting from their bodies, could possibly take on Saint-level cultivators in this world and probably win flawlessly. Besides, he understood that as they were from higher worlds, they would have better treasure-weapons and better battle methods in their possessions, then a powerful, mono, dual or triple inborn physiques.
When he thought all these, he exhaled again. But this time, lightly.
‘I think that I should be able to go against all of them and still win. I have far more powerful treasures and weapons, a system, deity-level arts and near-countless physiques.’ He said within himself as he began to recall all that he had in his possession.
He then focused back on them to see what they were going to do.
However, he had a thought spring up in his heart that once those six encircling, sense-blocking pillars were destroyed, a loud alarm would be tripped off. And if an alarm doesn’t go off in here, it would certainly go off in the academy, alerting both the instructors and the elite-level students, then the principal or founder of the academy who would then rush down here to see what had triggered off the alarm and quickly combat it.
‘This is certainly going to get bloody soon.’ Alex said within and then produced a treasure-cloak from within his mom’s spatial ring which he wore over himself.
Once he did so and activated it, the power of Invisibility which was produced by the Obscureforce Energy beginning to circulate around in the cloak, totally engulfed him and then allowed light rays to entirely pass through him like he was a fully transparent mirror, thereby turning him unseen in the next instant.
Immediately Alex did this and then stepped farther back from where he stood, just so that the numerous rippling destructive waves that would constantly surface from the heavy collisions of their killing energy-attacks wouldn’t affect him, he began to look on to see what was going to happen soon.
Assuming no one came here, Alex would have simply used the Heavenly Mystery Revealment God-eyes to unravel the secret unlocking keys of the six sense-enshrouding pillars to safely open them without allowing them to trip up the alarm that would alert anyone of his presence in this place. But as nature would have it way, he couldn’t. Now, he would just have to look on as they intensely battled amongst themselves, while looking for a way to stealthily take away the bow from the heart of the shattered pillar-based formations.
“There is the bow” One said to the others.
“Yea. We can see that. What’s left to do now is to take the bow away from here silently without causing any form of trouble. You know, it’s not everything that must be resorted to bloody tragic wars for” One said, trying to calm the burning eagerness in others as they seemed to be seriously itching to take the bow and make it theirs. They couldn’t help but tremendously eager to make the weapon theirs.
Haha!
One suddenly laughed.
“Then if we do that, how are we supposed to fight for it with the strongest getting it?” Another asked with an haughty tone in his voice.
“Well, we won’t fight for it yet. We would take it to a place in our world and compete for it. Anyone who is strong enough to knock the others off the battle platform will have it” That person that spoke earlier said with a calm expression in his face. However, his calmness couldn’t be taken for weakness, as he was really deadly, cunning and extremely calculative.
“That’s bullshit. I don’t have time for that. I say we destroy the pillars and fight it out here with the strongest amongst us taking or snatching the bow for himself or herself.” One that looked incredibly hefty in size said.
Then with a massive treasure-hammer appearing in his large hand, he brutally hurled it at one of the towering pillars before anyone around him could react.
BANG!!!
