A Fallen Knight-Lost art of Necromancy - Chapter 240
“Speak”
“Spare my life lord,” she said in a heartbeat.
“No..No…No…wrong answer”
She was also stabbed by Arthur, leading to her end.
“I never liked women because of beings like you. Selfish, and so annoying. The only thing that matter for you, is yourselves”
“It sucks”
He once again wiped his hand.
“Poor Dennis. Only if he had told me about you, I wouldn’t have killed him. He was useful after all”
—
Ring Ring.
“Yes Lord”
“Lady Martha”
“Yes Lord”
“Congratulations for being the head maid”
A plump old lady smiled. “I am honored”
“So, your first task. Clean up this mess and the word should be spread out until morning what Dennis was up to. I want everyone to know that he snuck a witch in my castle and played an important role in castle fire”
“I want him to be the preparation for arson and Laura being her assistant. As per rules, the owner is allowed to punish their servants according to law, and so did I.”
“Let others know, what it means to mess with me and what I do with disloyal servants” His voice turned cold.
“Alright Lady Martha”
“Indeed Lord”
“Good” he left the room after he gave instructions.

Next day
4 members were sitting on cross chairs glaring daggers at each other. The room was still silent and hostile.
“Resen, I don’t like this”
“You say as if I like this” The man who was Resen snarled in annoyance.
“After the Taylors, I am afraid it comes down to us,” He added.
“It’s not like we are afraid of them. I am not cowering” Mr. Trev, the overly enthusiastic speaker in the room present.
“Mr. Kepler, what do you say?” However, the man ignored Mr. Trev as if he was a filthy fly.
Resen chuckled. “You know he won’t spare us even a word unless Vladella comes here. Why bother Mr. Trev”
Mr. Trev scoffed while others just sighed in disappointment. It was not a hidden secret among them. Years ago, Kepler had his young teen crush on chancellor Vladella, but too bad for him, she had already sold her heart to King Elric, who wasn’t least bit interested in her.
“What an irony”
“Quiet” He warned them. It was a sensitive spot of his.
“Fine, fine. So, how is your little daughter? I heard rumors that just like you, she too also fancies someone who isn’t interested in her Kepler” It was Resen this time who teased, to which Kepler just scoffed.
“Stay put or else I don’t mind training my sword with your filthy blood. And besides,, who doesn’t have a past. Unlike you, mine is cleaner”
Mr. Trev, who was enjoying his whisky, commented. “Yes, sure. At least you didn’t go after his brother’s girl”
“You suck Trev”
“It is what it is” Trev just shrugged it off.
Their chatter came to an abrupt stop when someone made an entrance.
“It’s been long, everyone. I missed you” Vladella, all dolled up in a blue dress, waved her hands. Her long black hairs were still tied in a neat bun with some stray hairs that hid most of her wrinkles.
She looked alluring. A beauty that only gets better with time, like a fine wine.
“Look at Kepler” Resen whispered in Trev’s ears as they both giggled when they saw him completely smitten by her.
She took a seat as she gestured everyone a polite hello.
“Aaah…the empty seat kind of brings back sadness. Brian Taylor died. I hope his and his wife’s soul rest in peace” She looked remorseful.
“Oh, come on. For a moment I almost got fooled by your act. Why hide it when we all know it was you killed them Vladella”
Vladella cracked up. “All right, I don’t think I need to pretend so, I admit. I was the one who killed him, and you know what the catch is here?”
“What?” Kepler was the first one to ask.
“Aahh”
“It was his own daughter who he loved dearly that raided Taylor’s mansion,” she said with so much excitement as if it was something to be proud of. Every one of them present got chills when they heard it.
It was so cruel.
Yet this was how it was. It has always been like this.
Cold
Brutal
Evil
Do your best to have power and influence.
“Well, you’re still the same as you were before. I thought imprisonment would have changed you, but you are still the same. Evil little cruel bitch Vladella” Resen threw sarcasm at her.
Vladella wasn’t offended but Kepler was.
“Watch your mouth Resen”
“She is the leader of the dark triad, not this hidden jury, Kepler”
“Guys. Keep it low, both of you”
“Yes. Shut the hell up Resen and Kepler” Trev interfered.
“Vladella, you said his daughter, right?”
Vladella nodded.
“So, you mean Camy or Ciel? And as far as I know, they both loved Brian, to the point even we are jealous that our kids don’t love us. How did you manage to pull it through?”
Resen too joined the conversation. “Yes, and about the attack? How did you manage that all Vladella?”
Vladella smiled. “I know you have a lot of questions, and I am here to answer them all, but let me answer them one by one”
“Okay?”
“All right”
“Please”
“No problem”
Everyone agreed.
“Stupid Taylors thought that only they were the ones who knew about their family curse. Thanks to Resen, we were able to get the information about their family, which happened technically because of Resen”
“We owe you one Resen.” She thanked him.
“We share the same goals, Valdella. Thanks isn’t needed, however, won’t mind some comforting words” he flirted which made Trev roll his eyes.
She chuckled.
“Since you all are aware about it, I will skip Taylor’s family secret part. To keep it short. His both daughters who were blessed or should I say cursed managed to pull it alive. I turned Camy into a vampire while Ciel, Arthur helped him to survive”
“Wait, you are not serious? Are you? How did you even manage to turn her into a vampire? We shut down the lab for this very reason because the transformation of humans into vampires failed each time. The closest we ever made to it were those berserk prisoners.” Trev lashed out.
“Yeah” Rubin too was shocked.
