A God’s Apocalyptic Entertainment - Chapter 156 Explosion of Anger
I felt my energy get tapped by her and my spirit vision used. The anger was effecting Ella and her berserk rage had activated, her blood lust going outwards.

Earth spikes exploded from the ground, first taking out the person who had spoken those words and then the group of people that blocked our vision.
Their bodies stiffened in surprise as the sharp earth spikes ripped through their gear, before their bodies flopped to the ground, the earth spikes also disappearing. The rest of the guild got into fighting positions as they look at our group warily.
We paid them no head as we looked at the small children that appeared before us. My eyes sharpened as I took in the image of them. Their gear didn’t look out of place, just like the rest of the guild; it was worn slightly but not broken or damaged.
If my eyes weren’t sharp or if they didn’t say anything I would think much of this small group of people. Many kids had to fight in times like this. Not fighting would make one weak, and if one was weak, they would be walked all over.
What gave away the situation though were their weak auras. They were obviously a lower level than the rest of the group, definitely under level 10, which was an oddity. With my enhanced vision I was also able to spot the bruises on their exposed flesh and faces. I couldn’t tell about the parts covered in gear, but I was sure it was worse.
My face turned ugly and Ella growled deeply from the side. She being connected to Rose for such a long time made her hyper sensitive towards slavery and she had read up on it. She was very interested in the topic, which even surprised me.
A body drifted to the ground right in front of one of the children, a young girl. She had tears in her eye and had fallen on her butt. It looked like she was being restrained by one of them before they got killed. She looked our way with desperate eyes and I looked back at her.
A little relief was shown in them as they look at us, before she slipped into unconsciousness.
My eyes went back to the guild leader in front of me and he finally wet himself, his body was shaking like a leaf as his mouth opened repeatedly. He was trying to say something; I could only give him a disgusted look. I thought he was smarter than the other guild we ran into.
No he was a whole lot stupider. The whole place was trembling at the blood lust that Ella was producing and I could feel her rationality slipping, in the next few seconds she would attack everyone around herself. And even though Rose had no such skill and shouldn’t be affected by it, she was also losing it.
The chill in her mind made me back off and give her a quick look; her eyes had frosted over as she raised her hands.

Earth spikes exploded everywhere as she made her way forwards. Ella also moved past me and the guild leader and rushed towards the terrified group. There was one mage in the assortment that commanded a little authority and responded to what was happening.
He fired off magic at Rose, who was decimating the group, but it did nothing to her. She just took the hit before glaring in his direction, the one glare making his body stop. She didn’t summon an earth spike as she pulled the thorny whip from her side.
Soon enough blood ripped and got torn as a scream escaped from his lips.
“Argh!!!”
“Help!!!”
“Mommy!”
Screams were going off left and right as I stood my ground, I wanted to participate as well, but this was Rose’s time.
I stared back at the guild leader who looked like he aged several decades in the last minute. His body was still shaking and a desolate look came to his eyes. I had no remorse for such a person, to use kids as slaves.
I was about to say something to him when a louder voice reached me through the cacophony of screams.
“STOP OR I’LL KILL THEM!!!”
One of the warriors stood next to the children that where being used as slaves, his eyes were blood shot and his body shaking as he raised a sword to one of their necks. It was the other girl in the group; I had identified 2 girls and 3 boys in the captive group.
My eyes turned even colder when I looked at the person, of course I didn’t have to do anything. Before he could move his hand any further, an earth spike went through his body flinging it into Ella’s path. She who was rampaging about stopped what she was doing and reached up to grab the corpse. In the next second she bit through his body like paper and ripped the rest apart.
That was when the people started running for it. I spread out my aura to lock down any that came in its distance, trapping quite a few, while Ella and Rose took care of the rest, or more like tortured. Rose was especially brutal when it came to slavers.
“I have truly sinned.”
I finally heard the guild leaders’ voice as he looked at those around him dying. I thought about his words and what this meant for his guild in a game like setting. I didn’t really care what was to come for this person, he was right, he had sinned.
“Yes, even if this was a game. Children… really, children.”
I spoke to him slowly having trouble with the last part of the sentence, how could he think this was right? His face turned to one of guilt as he heard my words and I summoned out my halberd. He said nothing as he awaited death.
And with one swipe I took his head. Rose came next to me in the next minute having vented her feelings and we both moved over to the children. Ella was still lost thanks to berserk and I had to calm her down. Using our connection I had a better success rate of getting her to calm down, by talking to her in her mind.
Finally getting her to calm down, we looked at the quivering figures in front of us. They had fear in their eyes as they looked at me, it slightly hurt seeing them so afraid of us after we had saved them, but I couldn’t take it to heart.
As I was feeling slightly down and lost in my own thoughts, the girl that had been threatened by the warrior came up to us and gave a bow. It was a way of showing gratitude? Not something I saw every day.
“Thank you.”
Her voice was low but clear, she thanked us and as she looked up I could see the tears in her eyes. Rose’s face that had been cold up till this point melted as she bent down and gave the girl a hug. Once her arms were around the small body it racked itself in sobs. I stood to the side and didn’t intervene. Ella moved off to the girl on the side that had fainted and I looked at the boys that were left.
After having done all that, what were we going to do with them now?
