A God’s Apocalyptic Entertainment - Chapter 190 Colabrus Part 1
(Rose PoV)
I felt my rage boil over as I stared at the hulking titan. But I was berating myself on the inside. I had been careless in my fight beforehand. I have superior speed than that abomination and it still grabbed me. I wasn’t concentrating and now they are all dead.
I had gotten so much stronger, become so much more since I had left that god forsaken elf shit hole, but I still failed at helping them also escape their tormentor. The more the thoughts simmered in my head the angrier I got.
He had to save me! I was in such a bad shape. I felt disgust well up inside as my fist gripped onto my whip. I wanted to make this thing pay; I wanted it to feel the pain they felt.

*Streich*
The whip in Rose’s hand groaned from the pressure she was applying. I gave her one look before we sprang into action.
*Roar!!*
The booming of Colabrus’s voice came from the other side of the pool. I could just hear the happy undertone that came with it. After his roar, the variants with their hands in the pool also screamed out in happiness.
I rushed one right away, Rose going to finish off another. Ella was dealing with the last of the normal Rock titans. The variants; finished with whatever was going on in the ritual, now turned to face us. I felt a headache coming on as their bodies were charged full with energy. They were all primed to fire.
My danger sense and new spirit sense came in handy at this moment. They must have designated me as the most dangerous. Or something along those lines as more than 5 of them turned my way. They all fired at the same time giving me little room to maneuver, but I got in close to one.
Quickly taking out its head I felt heat quickly approaching from behind and struck my halberd into the ground propelling me to the side. Lava splurged where I was once standing some small flickers landing on my armour.
It sizzled for a few seconds before cooling down. I frowned as I looked down at that before rushing towards the Variant that just attacked me. Rose was making head way in her fight, already taking down 2 of them. She was on a war path right for Colabrus.
Ella had finished the Normal rock titans off by now and came to help us. The kids couldn’t do much to these guys so they stood off to the side watching. I could only let out a sigh at their uselessness.
Strangely enough it was the biggest and greatest threat that hadn’t joined the fight yet. I would guess it was some type of game mechanic if this was an actual game, which with that damn god, who knows at this point. But everything I knew told me it should be fighting us.
Instead it was looking into the pool as if waiting for something. I checked it again with spirit vision and still just saw the energy condensing in the middle of the lake, much brighter now. I had no way to judged how long it would take until something did happen, so I increased my speed.
Variants dropped left and right as they tried to overpower us. Our connection was being tapped continuously, taking up more and more energy. After my stunt with the pool I was still having trouble with my energy reserves.
But I pushed that to the back of my mind as I continued to draw more and more ice out. Finally after a few minutes the last Variant dropped dead. Colabrus still hadn’t moved, we took that time to quickly regroup.
All of us had worked up a sweat in the high temperature. Rose panted for air and wiped some sweat off her brow. Her eyes were focused on the giant titan, rage simmering underneath. I looked over at Ella who looked the best out of us. She didn’t have to move around as much.
She returned my stare and I could still feel the fear she had. Us almost falling into the lava pool had really scarred her. I reached out slowly and gripped her shoulder, pulling her closer. She tensed for a second before letting her body relax and come closer.
I gave her a hug to comfort her. Staying like that for a few seconds until she was good, I finally pulled back. Ella gave me a radiant smile and small “Thank you” In my head. I nodded at her before we looked at the boss.
The kids and Hunter both backed off. I calmed myself before deciding the plan.
I would be the main attacking force, Rose would provided cover incase anything went wrong, and Ella would bombard it from a distance whenever she could. It was starting to become our usual set up.
I got a begrudging nod from Rose as she heard her part in the plan, but I reassured her.
‘Don’t worry. You’ll get the killing blow if possible’
She gave a nod and we moved out. As if understanding or intentions Colabrus finally turned away from the pool. It radiated a battle lust something I had only just started to truly comprehend. After all the fighting I had been a part of I started to develop a sense towards such a thing.
Colabrus’s intent told, me that he would fight to the end to stop me. He wouldn’t let use get past and use any means possible. Something I was already expecting.
I rushed towards the creature halberd at the ready. His body started to glow a darker taint of red and I prepared to dodge, it was the same move from the Variants!
*Boom* Splash*
I rolled out of the way of the attack. It was a lot quicker than I anticipated. Lava had pooled in its hand before it shot out at the speed of a bullet towards my position. The splash from the lava made Rose dodge to the side before we kept moving forwards.
Ella began her barrage to distract the boss, but like with Ella’s whip, the blasts didn’t do much damage. The ice damage was the only thing making a dent. At this rate the fight would take a very long time. My head twitched towards the Lava pool, time I don’t think we have.
Finally I closed within 5 meters of Colabrus and it pulled its hand back. I prepared for the blow and then my counter attack.
*Bang!!!*
The ground caved in from the force as I dodged then sprung forwards swinging small cuts across its arm. Pouncing upwards from there I aimed for the head. Its red eyes stared at my rapidly rising figure before it moved backwards.
I wasn’t prepared for the sudden shift of target and could only get a glancing blow off its right shoulder. Landing on the other side of him, I felt my danger sense going off. Quickly turning around and activating my spirit vision, I watched as energy pooled at the bottom of its feet.
