A Land Without Time - Chapter 1 Chapter One
Nobody ever believes me when I tell them this story. But deep in my heart I will always know that it is true. A land deep with in the universe, a land where time was stuck in one place. It was like that until a young girl, dared to go against the rules of time and space, a girl who followed her own destiny and did what she believed was right. Thanks to her the world is how it is today.
It was about a thousand years ago, on a planet called Asterfel. Asterfel was a peaceful place where everything was perfect and everyone was happy. Well almost everyone was happy. A little girl around the age of thirteen, with the name of Laelynn, suddenly had a thought. That thought escalated to her questioning her own existence and the existence of her home planet. After a few years of this she decided to go ask the representatives of Asterfel.
“Oh great guardians, I thank you for making time for me in your busy schedule.” She said.
“It is no problem dear.” Said a female representative.
“I have come here to ask a question about this world we call home.”
“Well then state your question.” Said another representative.
“Well you see I was wondering why it is that time here repeats itself.” Laelynn asked. After asking the question all the representatives looked at each other in a panicked manner.
“Whatever do you mean child.” Asked an older member.
“Well I’ve began to notice that after a certain event happens time restarts as if it’s never happened before. It’s as if the moment you make a mistake in life you have to redo it.” She responded.
“Well that’s preposterous. Where is your proof!” A member said.
“Well I-” She began.
“Miss Laelynn the information you poses is classified, so we have to make sure you don’t share your knowledge with the resin of this town.” Said the female member.
“What do you mean. What are you going to do.” Laelynn cowered back.
“We are going to detain you for the time being.” Said a member.
Laelynn began to walk backwards in a protective way. She had known the council was up to something but she just didn’t know what. And not wanting to get caught she fled.
