A Land Without Time - Chapter 2 Chapter Two
The town representatives issued an announcement to all the citizens to find and capture Laelynn Thomas who was now a fugitive in her own home. She didn’t know where else to go, but when she reached the city limits she seen something she had never noticed before, there was a bubble like force field surrounding the whole town. As astonished as she was she knew she didn’t have time to admire their fine bubble making skills. Laelynn poked the bubble to find a reaction from it, nothing in particular happen so she forced her hand through. Then her arm and next her whole body. Gone, just like that, without a trace of her ever being there.
It’s been several day’s since Laelynn set out to escape her predetermined fate. She had never seen the outside world so she had no idea where she was at or what most of the stuff was. She was awestruck. It was a lot to take in but she knew she had to keep going. There was no time to stop and smell the roses. The guards were right on here heels. The representatives would stop at nothing to capture her. However one more question lingered through her mind as she ran, “How come I was still remember to remember everything after it ‘reset’, I had no proof it was just in my memories.” She wondered that ever since the representatives exposed themselves to her. Before leaving she was able to go to the library and gather books from the hidden archives room. Actually nobody was supposed to know about that however she stumbled upon it before she realized time repeated itself. She never had time to read the books but, she was able to get a brief understanding of what was down there. I mean it was called the ‘Forbidden’ archives.
After walking around for what felt like a week she managed to make it to a small city called Mill-Vill.
