A Liliful World: Yuri Reincarnation - Chapter 169. Money Scheme!
After taking a quick bath and dressing myself up in a beautiful white dress, Tanya and I went downstairs where Sheena could be seen in tears which looked weird as she screamed with her loudest, “Myyyyy ladddyyyy looks way toooo beautifull!!!”
Her scream was almost like an explosion; the entire house trembled for a second… or was it just me but thankfully she held herself back by not jumping towards me like a wild wolf. She is able to restrain herself back after having thrown into plenty of work which made me laugh like a villain inside.
“Are you sure you don’t want us following you to the venue, my lady?” Raeliana asked with worry as Faron and Lia both nodded the same.
I can understand their worry since to them, I look like a defenseless young noble’s daughter which is indeed true… well except for the defenseless part but I already considered their worries which is why I brought Tanya with me who they can trust.
“Tanya is more than enough to keep me safe, don’t worry. Not to mention, my trump card… my guard is always watching on the shadows. Rather than waste time and energy watching over me, I want all of you to place your attention on making this town the best, understand?!” I looked at them with a smile.
All of them looked at Tanya before nodding as Raeliana spoke, “If Tanya is there then my lady should be pretty safe unless someone stronger than Tanya appears which is highly unlikely… also, that shadow guard of my lady is potentially the most dangerous person on the continent…”
I could only smile wryly after being called ‘the most dangerous person on the continent’ but she is technically correct. My powers when I am on my vampiric form are pretty terrific, not to mention, I still have to go through the Land of Memories or something to maximize all the power which I have been delaying for a little while.
Once I have time… I might try heading to that Land of Memories or whatever it was called. I want to see what kind of improvements I can receive by heading there but as of right now, there is no need for me to rush since my current strength is pretty terrifying that even Kaori would be far from enough.
“Well then, we’ll head off now!” I said.
“Take care, Princess!” Faron kneeled in his usual way before somehow taking out a rose from somewhere which I slapped away instinctively which made him smile wryly, “The Princess is pretty cruel!”
“You should stop messing around with our lady!” Lia smacked the head of Faron who immediately fought back verbally. The two of them really gets along well which brought a brighter smile on my face as a soft giggle left my mouth.
“All of you are acting as if I am heading off to a month’s journey when this entire thing will most likely take me a few minutes. Stop lazing around and get back to your work, be sure to prepare a big celebration for me when I come back later!” I shouted at them to which they froze before nodding with smiles as I turned towards Tanya who also nodded.
The two of us soon walked out of the residence, traversing through the beautiful garden that was being taken care of by the servants on the house before a guard who was at the front guard took notice of us and immediately opened the gate while bowing down.
“Have a safe trip, my lady!” the guard said as I simply smiled before Tanya and I soon left the residence.
After we walked a little bit away from the residence, I turned towards Tanya who immediately understood my intentions. Fiona wasn’t with me today since she was tasked to do something else, her task was to go through the nobles and figure out which one has the most malicious intentions and capturing evidence against them… after all, who doesn’t want some compensation.
My plan is to use the evidence as blackma—cough… money sch—cough… legal money ban—ehem… not that word… errr I think it was called legal compensation? Well, whatever it was. I’ll give it to Kaori and bring them to court to earn myself some big bucks, after all, which bad noble doesn’t have big bucks?
“Let’s head to that alleyway, my lady,” Tanya suggested as I nodded before the two of us quickly walked towards the alleyway which was pretty dark and had not a single living being inside. The alleyway was also perfect for me to transform onto my vampiric form as the entire path towards the alleyway is pretty empty.
I didn’t waste a single moment and immediately transformed into my vampiric form which made my entire view of the world a bit smaller… which feels weird as it always feels like my body shrunk—which technically it did but the shrinking feeling really is horrifying to the mind.
Tanya looked at me a bit surprised but regained her composure as I looked into her eye before asking, “Do I look fine?”
“Naturally… my lady is beautiful in all forms,” she replied with a smile.
My cheeks heated up from embarrassment upon hearing her response, but I shook it off almost immediately before saying, “Let’s head to the guild now, I can’t wait to see all of those nobles’ terrified faces after beating their trump cards…”
Adrenaline immediately flooded my heart while saying that as Tanya looked at me with a serious expression as we left the alleyway and started our route towards the guild which only took us a few moments as the sight of the guild being extremely cluttered with people came to view.
You could see the guild master on the doors with several of his adventurers, blocking the people from entering unless they pay which made me laugh inside. The Guild Master must be earning quite the profits for letting me use the venue… I have to extort some of those profits later, we need it for building the town even more.
The two of us quickly went in line with Tanya standing on my side as talks floated around the entire guild. The talks consisted of stuff like how I would stand a chance against 20+ nobles or who they are betting would win. It was pretty chaotic.
After ten minutes in line, we soon reached the front where I looked at the guild master with a smile before saying, “My master has told me that she also wants a bit of the profit you received from this event,” with a wink.
Immediately, he froze but quickly nodded as he quickly looked for another guild staff and shouted, “Someone takes over this job for me, an important guest has arrived!” which surprised everyone as two guild receptionists took the job almost immediately as he walked over to me with a nod.
“You didn’t have to line up with them, the strongest adventurer has all the privileges they need to enter the guild immediately,” he showed a bitter smile as Tanya and I were being guided inside.
“Well, if I didn’t line up. I wouldn’t be able to see the number of profits you are gaining from this,” I laughed which made his bitter smile grew before I looked around at the crowded guild, “Anyhow, my lady has told me to be her representative here and beat up some people.”
His face immediately paled which gave me a good evil laugh inside, “It’s no wonder the lady is confident against all twenty nobles, if it is you who will be battling their representatives then the chances of losing is at negative zones…”
“Tanya, please bet as much as you can towards the lady. Let’s reap some profits while we are at it,” I winked at Tanya who immediately understood with sparkling eyes before walking over to the betting side as she soon took out a very fat bag of gold that she somehow got from somewhere.
She lined up and waited there as the guild master looked at me with a bitter laugh, “Do you want me to bet on your lady as well, we can split the profits at 50/50. I will bet all my fortune onto your lady’s win, is that fine?”
“How much is your entire fortune?” I looked at him with a laugh.
“Around fifty platinum coins,” he replied which made my eyes sparkle almost immediately.
“I’ll take it, be sure to drop all of it onto my lady. I’ll take 50% of the entire reward, understand?” I showed a threatening smile which made him shiver a bit as he quickly nodded before a happy and enthusiastic mood blasted towards me as we walked our way towards the venue with me in a happy mood.
Almost immediately upon entering the venue, we were greeted by a large pile of groups with their nobles standing in front of them. All of them looked flimsy but I could tell they were famous people in their own regions since they had a lot of fans cheering for them.
“It’s time to crack some arms, shall we?” I laughed before looking at the guild master who nodded back as he shouted in a loud voice that echoed throughout the entire venue.
“The representative for Her Ladyship of the Windsor family has arrived!”
