A New Start : Quick Transmigration - Chapter 188
“I miss you a lot, it is too painful to stay away from you” Reva once again send an emotional message to Mahendra, she is doing this from the day when he leaves the city. To be honest, in the past, they often get sprayed, but now when they are in a relationship, it is getting difficult for them to part away from each other.
Mahendra read this message and has a smile on his face, he now started to realize how dramatic his girlfriend is, but he still likes her very much. He also replied to her with dramatic quotes.
“I too can’t stay away from you, but the world is too cruel which forces us to part away” Mahendra replied and write down some sad emojis with them. Previously he don’t like to use this emoticon, but now, he started to use it due to Reva.
Reva smile looking at this, she never thought that she will act like a teenage girl even after living for so many years. After a while Mahendra takes her leave and they stop chatting. Reva suddenly feels someone is watching her and when she looks in the direction, she found out that Veer is looking at her.
“What?” Reva questions.
“Now if you done with chatting will you do me a favor and can start your work,” Veer said with sarcasm.
“Oh sorry boss, I will,” Reva said and started her work. While they are working someone knocks on.
“Come in,” Veer said. Reva get surprised to seeing Mihika in the office. She remembers that Mihika dies in an accident, there are rumors that she is drinking and driving, but later Maherndra tells her that Mihika is in depression.
Reva to be honest doesn’t know what exactly happen with Mihika. Talking about her experience with Mihika, she can say that Mihika is just like Mahendra, but she is more introverted and quite simple. She never sees Mihika interfering with anything. She also never see her often.
Even after being the wife of a famous lawyer in the city and sister of the biggest businessman in the city she is too simple. Reva doesn’t know exactly but Mihika is also part of the clothing business, but the total exposure she gets is too little.
“Good morning Miki” Veer greeted his niece and hug her.
“Good morning uncle, good morning Reva” Mihika greeted them. Reva get quite surprised that Mihika knows her name.
“Good morning mam” Reva also greeted Mihika while standing up,
“Stop with the formalities, You are soon going to be my sister-in-law,” Mahika said while patting Reva’s head.
“You know about us?” Reva can’t help but question.
“Yes, dada, only talk about you from previous two weeks, that’s why I come here, today to meet you especially,” Mihika said. Reva suddenly started to feel a little nervous, as she don’t know how to impress Mihika.
While they are talking Mihika’s phone rings.
“What is grandpa?” Mihika questions on the phone. Reva guess the call must be done by Mahendra’s grandpa.
“Oh, okay I will bring both of them for lunch” Mihika replied, and then she hang up the phone.
“Grandpa invited both of you for lunch, Veer uncle he also instructed to call Aditya,” Mihika said. Reva sees the expression on Mihika’s face and feels something is not right. But as usual, she doesn’t question anything and gets agreed.
Reva reaches the hotel with Veer & Mihika, no one talks in the car, so Reva is quite confused about the situation.
“Why both of you are like this?” Reva questions.
“Nothing, grandpa might be say something, but please don’t mind it okay? He is old and quite bound with his values, he loves Mahendra a lot, and even though right now he will show tantrum later he will get agreed for Mahendra’s wish” Mihika tells Reva. Reva don’t say anything.
She understands that as she is an orphan she might be facing some opposition from Mahendra’s family, so she is at all not scared. She before faces this situation and in that life, Mahendra protects her very well, so she is not worried.
They meet Aditya at the entrance. Reva remember right now Aditya is shooting an important film but he still comes here in just a few minutes it shows how much effort he is putting into the relationship.
They come inside, one of the waiters come and guide them inside one of the luxurious dining room. They all take their sits and wait for nearly half an hour, still, the protagonist aka Mahendra’s grandpa doesn’t arrive.
“Is grandpa forgot about the meeting?” Reva finally question, it is not like she can’t wait. But she realized that Mr. Sen aka Mahendra’s grandpa is an old man, he might suffer from memory loss.
“No miss Reva, I remember about this lunch, you look quite annoyed by waiting” Reva hear a arrogant voice.
In all her reincarnation, Reva learns to read people, she is not a person who will judge a book by its cover, but still looking at Mr. Sen, Reva concluded that this person is quite arrogant.
“It is not like that….” Mihika tries to take Reva’s side.
“I understand, Mihika, by the way, Miss. Reva, only my grandchildren are allowed to call me grandpa, this is in every family. I think your family also follows the same rule right?” Mr. Sen questions.
“Dad…Reva don’t….’” Veer tries to say in a small voice.
“Oh I am sorry Miss Reva,” Mr. Sen said, Reva, understand he is doing this to piss her. He already investigate everything about her, so not knowing she is an orphan is impossible. She wanted to see what other tricks he will use.
Mr. Sen signals the person following him, and then Shanaya enters the dining room.
Reva understands there is huge drama coming towards her, but for the sake of Mahendra she will cope up with it. She guesses that this old man will praise Shanaya and somehow act like how it is best if Mahendra and Shanaya will be a better couple. Reva is ready for that.
“Thank you so grandpa for inviting me,” Shanaya said. Me. Sen tells her to sit near him. While doing that Aditya’s phone rang. He sees the number and sends an SMS.
“You young people don’t understand basic rules about life, taking calls and sending messages on dining table….so rude, but what can we accept from a child whose mom run away,” Mr. Sen said with a tsk sound. Reva doesn’t know about Aditya’s family history, and as an act, or, he still manages to keep it secret.
Reva from all the conversation guess one thing which is Mr.Sen is here to only insult them.
“According to the old generation coming on time is quite important right Mr.Sen, but tsk tsk you don’t look like them, so you also belong to our generation,” Reva said with a big grin.
“Oh. Miss Reva has quite a sharp mouth as expected from Mahendra’s loyal dog” Mr. Sen replied.
“Pardon me, do you call me loyal dog?” Reva questions.
“Oh sorry, I mean loyal secretary, I forgot to sugarcoat the words,” Mr. Sen said with a huge smile.
“Grandpa….” Mihika doesn’t know what to say. But she understands that things need to stop. Her grandpa is always like this. Doing things according to his rules. In front of Mahendra, he acts like a gentle grandpa but in reality, he is quite different.
“Mihika don’t you understand the manner, we are talking right,” Mr.Sen said to Mihika.
“So Mr. Aditya and Miss Reva I wanted to tell you a advice as an adult, people should stay in their limit, crossing the limit can cause their downfall, the thing you called love, etc is not permanent.
Mahendra is my boy, he will not disobey me, talking about Veer, he is not even a complete man to talk about” Mr. Sen looks towards Veer with a disgusted look.
Reva never think the man her boss respect is such bad character, not only he has respect for others but also has a foul mouth.
“I even don’t try to date Mahendra, if I know he was raised by you,” Reva said, with sarcasm.
“What do you mean?”Mr.Sen sees the mockery in her tone and question.
” You are far different from Boss, he is kind and respectful while you are….forgot about it, you know if you are not his grandpa I might not even waste my single second here,” Reva said while standing up.
“Reva, how can you disrespect older?” Shanahan interprets them.
“It is quite easy I will teach you” Reva replied.
“As expected from a girl without origin who knows…” Mr. Sen wanted to continue but before that Reva break the glass on the floor.
“Mind your tongue Mr.Sen or I might cut that tongue,” Reva said while playing with the knife. The way she is handling the knife on the dinner table is quite dangerous.
“Reva… You…stop it” Veer manages to say, to be honest, he is also angry due to his father, but now he is scared by Reva’s denamour.
