A Pervert's World - Chapter 354: Mae and Shalam’s story 2
“You didn’t let the governor on your relationship with him?” Felicia crossed her arms over her bust, finding herself getting interested in the story. Mae shook her head in a muted response.
“We had broken up by that time. She vowed to never see my face again.” Shalam answered instead. “Huh.. she did? Let me guess.. you were cheating behind her back. Am I right?”
Shalam’s eyes opened wide like saucers. What kind of wizardry was this? Can she read all this from his face? Impossible. “Looks like I was right.” Felicia did not even wait for the man’s response before returning her glance to Mae, who was busy glaring viciously at her lover.
“Yes.. you are right. This bastard cheated and we broke up as a result. With how things were, I saw no reason to oppose the marriage.” Mae offered a further explanation of her decision.
“Then what happened? If you were married, the least a man can expect is your loyalty.” Felicia asked that and sure enough, Mae’s face was scrunched up in disgust.
“Loyalty..? Huh…” Mae poured two glasses of wine and poured the first one to quench her thirst after offering the second one to the princess.
“My husband never demanded that. Rather..” Mae took another gulp, her expression heavy. “He just wanted a toy for himself.”
Though having some semblance of where things were heading, Felicia chose not me make any guesses. “A toy? Why would you say that?” At the same time she asked Mae, she witnessed the frustration on Shalam’s face as he clenched his fists.
“Haha..” Mae laughed deliriously. “What should I call myself if not a toy?” She took another pause as if struggling to put things in perspective.
Felicia herself took a swig, not interrupting Mae’s thought process. “I don’t know how I should put it.. but let’s just say my husband loves putting me on display.”
Mae turned towards Shalam, her glance a lot more diminished in hostility. “He loves watching other men defile his wife in front of him.” Listening to that, Felicia licked her lips, readying herself for a thickening plot.
“There is not a single man in the whole of governer’s estate who has not been forced to take me. From the head of the guards to a measly gardener, I have been fucked by every single guy who has a set of cock and balls between his legs.”
“Some are eager to do me, others do it reluctantly because no one wants to incur the governor’s wrath onto himself. He turned me into a whore for his own amusement.” From the lack of emotions in her eyes, Felicia can figure out that these events must have been going on for quite some time.
“Hm.. a whore?” She scratched her chin, not reacting too severely to the revelation. “Yes.. like I told you, I have been rendered into a mere toy by him. It started from sharing me among his close circle of friends, then it escalated to the point where any random man was made to copulate with me in his presence.”
Mae had emptied her wine and chose to have another serving. Her tears had dried out at this point as she had simply become accustomed to her life. “Was he always like this?”
Felicia shot another question her way and saw the woman laugh hysterically. “Hahaha.. no. While he had always been distant from me since the very start, things took a turn for worse when he found himself to be incapable of impregnating any woman.”
“After he was told about his impotence, his behavior towards me dropped sharply. Looking back at it now, that seems to be the start of my descent.” Mae took on a desperate smile.
“So the rumors were true. Gustump city’s governor can’t bear any child.” Felicia iterated to no one in particular. Mae’s words made sense to her. It was possible that the cruel reality plunged the man into a sea of vexation.
“Yes.. it’s true. After I began to be mistreated by the man, Shalam came back into my life. It was around this time I conceived his child.” While transactional sex was prevalent in this world, Felicia was aware of a mother’s ability to precisely tell who was the father of her child.
Thus, even when multiple men were having sex with her at the same time, she didn’t doubt Mae’s ability to tell the father of her child apart. “What about the governor? He didn’t stop you two from mingling?”
“He didn’t know me. I was just a random guy from the streets from him. So in the name of entertaining the fuck.. the governor, I used to spend time with Mae.” Shalam jumped in to fill the gap in the story.
Mae nodded. “I had failed in life. Since I was already fucked from all sides, I chose to reengage with my lost love.. haha..” She laughed at her own words, finding them stupid.
“Then what happened afterward? How did you two got separated again?” Felicia slipped back in her cushioned chair, eager to listen to the conclusion.
“At first, my husband was happy that I was able to conceive a child for him. Even if it wasn’t his blood, he at least had a boy to carry on his lineage. That’s why he never opposed me sleeping with Shalam.”
“But with time his ire kept growing when he discerned features of the young boy to Shalam. It was clear to him that this guy was the actual father to his son. Over time, when my boy grew up, he drove Shalam away from me.”
Felicia nodded in understanding. “He must have become insecure about his presence around his child. It would have been a risk having him around once the boy aged.”
“That’s what I think as well.” Mae acknowledged. “This is when Shalam wanted us to run away. He was aware of my situation here and thus told me to bring along Stein with us.”
“Run away with a governor’s legal wife.. hmph..” Felicia smirked at the only man in the room. “haha.. he was stupid but I have seen how ruthless the man can be, how can I let him risk his life for me? So we ended up fighting it out and broke apart.”
“I left this city and traveled to the capital to increase my strength. That’s where I heard the tragic news of my son’s demise.” Shalam completed the rest, but Felicia was already aware of it.
“It’s a mess..” Was the princess’s only response. The couple looked at each other for the nth time and Mae smiled wryly. “I am sure you will witness it today only.”
“Hmm? What will I witness?” Felicia asked inquisitively. “It’s his habit to put me on the display for his dignitaries. I am sure things will not change.”
“Today? But you just lost your son? He might be detached from the kid, nevertheless, he lost his heir didn’t he?” Felicia was shocked that the governor can go to such lengths even at a time like this.
“Haha.. you don’t understand, highness. My boy.. while on the outside it looked like he cared for him.. I can tell. His worth was no more than a pet dog that he was nurturing in his house.”
For the first time, Felicia was a little uncomfortable with the facts laid out to her. “Whoa.. that’s horrific..” Mae chuckled out of desperation. “It is..”
“Then what have you two decided?” Felicia threw a suggestive glance toward the couple but they lacked any viable options. “While I am more interested than ever to take up on his offer.. you know, our situation had not changed much vis-a-vis the governor.” Mae had a ray of hope in her eyes.
The princess could not have listened to her heartbreaking story in vain. She had a hunch the lady in the red gown had something in her mind. “You are right. Poaching you from here is certainly going to be difficult for even the most feared experts in our country, to say less about this guy.”
“I will not waste any more of your time then. I got to know what I wanted. Farewell, Mrs. Mae. I will pray for you.” Felicia said not a single word more and got up to leave the room without even looking back once.
Mae looked like someone poured icy cold water on her head. She can’t believe the princess was not even going to offer any condolences to her, leaving like this after listening to her tragic case.
“This..” She can’t make any sense of the situation. Is this the only reason Felicia came here? Was she truly not going to extend a helping hand? Her husband might be the governor of a city but she was the wife of the prince of this entire country. It will not take a genius to figure out how enormous power she held in her hands, compared to even a governor.
Had she wanted that, Felicia could have single-handedly rescued her from this prison and not a single soul would have dared to revolt against her. Yet… She chose to do nothing.
“I am a fool.. what will she gain by helping us?” Mae shook her head. She truly acted like a child, attaching hope to someone who barely even knew them.
Shalam looked down to find Mae back on the verge of tears. He hurriedly fished the woman in his arms, holding her tight. “You truly are a fool, Mae. Do you really think she will abandon you like this after all that?”
Mae broke down, tears rolling down her eyes. After she lost Stein, this place was nothing less than hell for her. “She.. she.. left.. Shalam.” She choked her way through the sentence, making the man kiss her lips to momentarily stop her cries.
“She wasn’t faking her reactions, Mae. I can tell that she was visibly distressed by your story. Please believe in me and let’s wait for some time. Maybe.. maybe the princess just needs some time to think?” Mae sniffled, then nodded. Willing to put her trust in Shalam.
Outside their room, Felicia had not left. She can hear everything the couple said. “Hmph..” She huffed her chest and then turned on her heels. “It’s been so long since I clashed against my sisters with a free hand.”
With those last words, Felicia unbuttoned her clothes while she crossed the empty corridor. One by one her extravagant red gown was carefully detached from her body, finding its way into her storage ring.
In the end, in the alleyway, all the red garments had been peeled away, giving way to a pure white long skirt underneath. At last, Felicia fetched the face mask and fixed it on her head.
Reaching the open window, her body floated into the air then crossed the way to one corner of the vast governor’s estate. She floated above a massive wyvern. “Rest for now.. I might need your help tomorrow.”
The giant beast underneath her opened its eye to scrutinize the woman above. It settled back realizing the identity of the floating masked lady. Felicia brought out a crystal sphere and in an instant the wyvern under her was sucked into it, leaving only a half-eaten dead beast carcass behind.
The crystal shined with a dazzling light as the beast inside struggled for some time before settling in. Felicia smiled, securing the crystal back in her storage ring. “I look forward to the night. Who knows, maybe some interesting things will happen.”
