A spoilt princess - Chapter 243
“Perhaps you were not told, I order whoever I want in this house. it doesn’t matter who allowed you in here, you can listen to me but if you find any problem, the door is wide open….” Tong or the little assistant of the great master heard everything from the maids. Linda had sent her father over at her house when she had gone to walk around asking for An kai in marriage. it was very fine by her if An had agreed but the shameless of this Linda surpassed her understanding. she was now ready than ever to push her away, far away from An kai at any cost and today was just the beginning. As the two continued to look each other up and down, the great master came from the garden side and walked in and finally up to them but the last words from his little assistant were a bit rude, was it a sign of a bad day? she was the only person who could stand anything but if she was already picking fights with Linda then… the rest might start killing each other very soon.
“…. my little assistant, you should go rest. being on a fright for almost twenty hours is very tiring. just go have a bit more rest and let the rest cater for all this, okay?…. please go..” The little assistant left unwillingly because the letter had said so, she wanted this Linda out of her house.
The great master looked at Linda seemingly waiting for her to complain but the latter kept her mouth shut. she was still figuring what caused this so-called little assistant’s behavior.
they had never met face to face or in any sort of fight then, why would this woman act so indifferent and bossy around her, did she have her memories fragmented that she needed to sort and arrange them first?
As Linda was still in awe of what had just happened with the old man looking at her intently, the door was pushed open without any notice. Xia who only wore a grim expression on her face, walked in and her eyes bypassed Linda and they fell right onto the old man.
“Ms. Xia welcome…”
“Welcome…? wow! you’re so good to me that I can’t even take it.
but please, save me your ideologies and don’t ever Xia me again! I don’t like ungrateful people like you, what did you do to my son? after crawling on my door all you knew was to scheme against me, how could you? I hate every bit of you!
Having expected this day to come by one day, the old man pressed his cane too hard on the floor, he wanted to be strong enough to bear whatever came from this humble woman, her principles were too reflected in An kai but maybe, it was time to see what these two could do when pissed…
“How about you sit down and we talk this through or I may have an explanation?” he was only tasting the deep waters but he wasn’t disappointed, his thoughts cam true before his expectations
“What can you explain, what? haha…are you going to tell me that you didn’t know, huh? I was very stupid to believe your “all holly tales,” do you even remember how you kept pouring lies into my ears:” I won’t interfere into your lives,”
all I want is my great-grand son’s good health and living,”
” I will never confront him about the past,”
” he is too innocent to be dragged into our mess,”
” I will exact revenge on his behalf.”
do you even remember any of that?…you are no different from that son of yours, you must be much worse than that wicked daughter in law of yours! I now believe why you have lived so many lonely days, you must have been a really cruel person in all your past lives, your presence truly terrifies me…
These were the people the old man never talked about, the people that left heavy wounds deep inside of and at times, they made him question the way he had brought up his son but hearing it someone else, it was unbearable…
“Ms. Xia please stop…,” he said almost trashing down but Linda who was still shocked got hold of him on time but Xia was here to finish everything she came to do. even if she fainted, she wasn’t going to spear this old man even with a second of peace!
Are you hurt or am I lying? if you know how many plans you have sabotaged and the lives you have ruined, you should have killed him and kept the body but hiding him away like a thing you could give and edit memories, that’s too bad of you. I don’t want to keep talking to you, just answer me and I will leave right after; at this point, Xia tried to dry the tears off her face. she was getting angered very minute she looked at the old man but she wasn’t done yet.
Did you instil my son or you invented him to be a commodity you can forge about? I need a valid answer and reason right now…” she demanded
