A young Royal couple: love at first sight - Chapter 42:XLl
“Thank you so much, sister in law.” Ann said once we were home.
“Are you two still together? You aren’t wearing your engagement ring.”
“We are. But just under the table until this issue is solved.”
“I see. So, you two are making it look as if the relationship was killed.”
“Exactly!”
“How smart. Anyways, how far are you now?” Ann asked as she gently places a hand on my stomach.
Smiling small, i answer: “Two months. In exactly a week, I’ll be three months.”
“How delightful! By then, you will be able to find out what you’re expecting!”
“That’s right! Speaking of such thing, what are you expecting?”
“Twins. One girl and one boy.”
“Really? That just shows I might be lucky to have the same.”
“That’s for sure! After all, twins run in your family. Especially a male and female.”
“Hehe, yup!”
At that moment, Pakura cams up to Ann and I with a smile. “Good, you two are here. Samuel and Ashely are here too.”
“Wait, my parents are here?!” Ann asked.
“Yes, they are.”
“Where are they?!”
“In the living room, dear.”
Without replying back, Ann rushes to her parents location.
Looking at Pakura, I tilt my head to the side slightly. “My.. parents in law?”
“That’s right! Samuel Jean Mia and Ashley Scott Mia. You remember them right? Why not meet them?”
“Barely, but that won’t stop me from greeting them!.” I said as I walked into the living room.
Smiling brightly, Ashley – a red headed female – came up to me and hugged me tightly. “My, isn’t my daughter in law beautiful!!”
With a small frown, Samuel – who was also a red headed – states: “She is my daughter in law as well. Don’t you mean “our?””
“Oh, Samuel! I know she is your daughter in law as well.”
Giggling small, I return Ashley’s hug before hugging Samuel. “Father in law!”
Hugging back, Samuel smiles happily. “Why hello my daughter in law! My my! It never came to mind that I’d have the heiress of the royal clan as my daughter in law!!”
“That just proves Andrew is really good at picking his women.” Ashley stated victoriously.
“I can’t agree less! Where is our son anyways?”
“He is out doing something important, father. He should be returning soon.” I said, letting him go.
“Well, I hope so!” He said, also letting me go.
“I can’t wait to see him. It’s been three months now.” Ann said softly.
“That’s right! You can give him the good news!” I said cheekily.
“Hehe, yup! Just, mom and dad, don’t tell him!”
“You can count on us!” Samuel said as Pakura nodes in agreement.
