Above The Heavens I Stand - Chapter 2
‘…’ Su An’s mind froze when he heard the system’s words but then he decided to believe his system.
‘How many chances do I have?’ Su An asked.
One.
‘…Fine.’ Su An begrudgingly accepted reality and thought about the lottery wheel.
He saw a white sparkly light and desperately tried to ignore it. ‘Must ignore sparkly lights…’ He chanted inwardly.
He sighed in his heart when it vanished and was replaced by a large black and white wheel.
There where five numbers and Su An checked every prize carefully.
‘Silent Ripples Movement Technique, Blood Lotus Sabre Technique, Starlight Dew, Thousand Year Moon Ginseng…’ Su An went through all of them and asked about them.
He only got to the last one which had a question mark.
Do you need an explanation for that one too?The system mocked.
‘No.’ Su An rejected and saw the wheel spin.
Silent Ripples was a movement technique that let one move a million miles with a single step. The comprehension of techniques one had was graded as four levels.
Initial mastery, intermediate mastery, high mastery and finally, perfection.
Blood Lotus Sabre Technique was a technique based on the characteristics of a blood lotus when it gains a human form. It had its own conscious and every petal was immensely precious. The creator had most likely gained insights by watching a blood lotus fight.
A single drop of Starlight Dew was capable of improving one’s martial talent to the peak. At the same time, a drop was said to have the ability to cause the destruction of empires.
Thousand Year Moon Ginseng could increase one’s vitality and lifespan. One year equalled to a ten thousand years so the total span it could increase was ten million years in total.
Su An wanted to get Starlight Dew as there was a whole bottle of it, approximately two hundred drops and he could make a whole army of gods
‘Starlight Dew!’ Su An chanted as he watched the items.
It slowly stopped and Su An felt like crying, ‘I got the random prize?…’
Collect the prize.The system demanded.
Su An sadly thought, ‘Collect.’ And a white light flashed before vanishing.
‘What happened?’
Inventory.
“Woah!” Su An saw a screen with lots of boxes and the bottle was in the first one.
He imagined it being opened and two objects filled two boxes. The Starlight Dew and another jade green bottle that had an engraving of a Phoenix.
‘What?…’ Su An was confused.
You said you already knew. The random prize is basically like a wheel within a wheel. You get a better chance of getting what you want since the prizes there are all the same. It seems your luck is extremely good for it to land on that.
“…” Su An froze before asking a question, ‘Then what about that bottle with the green phoenix?’
It’s the random item, it can be absolutely anything. The system replied.
‘You hate me, don’t you?…’ Su An couldn’t resist asking.
No, it’s just fun to mess with you.The system replied.
‘I hate you!’ Su An said before enlarging the picture of the bottle in his brain.
‘Hmm?’ Su An noticed another box with a manual and asked the system about it.
It’s a bonus prize I gave you.
‘What…’ Su An wished he would be birthed already so he could cry out in joy.
Hurry up. The system urged.
‘Wait, what is it?’
Cultivation manual based on your bloodline. I created it.The system explained while Su An thought about what his bloodline could be.
I said hurry up.
‘Ah!’ Su An hurriedly checked it and a line of words entered his mind.
Unfettered Jade Feathers.
‘What’s this?’
It allows one with the Jade Phoenix bloodline to cultivate and perfectly compliments the bloodline, bringing out one’s full potential.
‘ What is this Jade Phoenix?’ Su An asked.
The Jade Phoenix is the emperor of all Phoenixes including the Vermillion Bird of the South.
‘…Is this the clan my innocent exiled ancestor was from?’
No, he is the main descendant of the clan which carries the bloodline of the Vermillion Bird. There is a one in a one thousand centillion chance for a pure-blooded descendant to have an evolution of the bloodline.
‘How am I pure-blooded? I shouldn’t be pure-blooded.’ Su An asked.
Have you forgotten your system is overpowered? The system replied.
‘…’ Su An wanted to cry. He wanted to cry very badly.
‘So what’s that bottle?’ Su An asked, turning his attention to it.
A bottle of the blood of a pure-blooded Jade Phoenix, I’ve already infused it with you so you could say that you are now a pure-blooded descendant of a Jade Phoenix. The host of me must obviously be overpowered.
‘…’ Su An really wished he could cry and hug the system’s thigh but he knew it was impossible so he just blinked and stared at the darkness around him.
Will you just start already? The system spoke in the same toneless voice..
‘Ah? Okay…’ Su An felt shivers go down his developing spine.
…
‘This is a good start!’ Su An thought as he checked his status.

“Cure the poison.” Su An ordered once he saw it.
Done.
‘Good. You’re still too overpowered though.’
And it will get more overpowered in the future. The system commented happily.
‘Since you are the Most OP System, please unlock all functions.’ Su An asked as he remembered what the system introduced itself as.
Appearance Changer function unlocked!
‘Why only one? Why not the shop function?!’ Su An cried.
Even though you are 50% male, your appearance is 100% female.
‘WHAT?! WHERE’S THE DAMNED TAB?! I DON’T WANT TO BE PUSHED DOWN BY HORNY BASTARDS!’ Su An exclaimed as he madly searched for the tab.
‘CHANGE IT TO MAKE ME MORE MASCULINE!!! I DON’T WANNA BE STALKED BY PERVERTS!’ Su An inwardly screamed in terror.
Set it yourself, there’s a slider there. You set the age of your appearance to see what your appearance will be at that age.
Listening to the system, Su An set the age to 16 and he froze.
And then he closed his eyes and slept like that for a month.
…
‘I’m fine now.’ Su An said as stared at the screen.
Long silky black hair, dark enchanting eyes that would leave you standing for hours and you still wouldn’t be able to forget them.
Slender physique and jade-like skin. Cherry pink lips and long delicate eyelashes. Slender fingers and elegant thighs.
No matter how much Su An looked at it, he couldn’t find any traces of masculinity except for the crotch.
Su An immediately set the slider to the highest masculinity. There were big changes yet at the same there weren’t.
‘Why is do I still look feminine?’ Su An asked blankly.
That’s the maximum you have due to your genes. Your extremely feminine looks mostly come from your father.
Su An froze and took a deep breath in his mind.
And he screamed as much as he could.
Of course it was inside his mind.
He was still a fetus.
While screaming, Su An kicked the womb walls and it was felt from the other side.
‘Ew.’ Su An said as he felt something sticky.
‘I kicked it… I wonder if mother felt it…’ Su An thought.
Su An felt the sticky wall cave in slightly and he knew she was feeling the area he kicked.
Su An hesitantly kicked the same spot and poked after.
‘This is kinda fun although it’s sticky.’ Su An began poking the inner walls.
…
‘Damn, how did this turn into a poking game.’
A small dent appeared and Su An failed to poke after it.
‘Okay, she’s good.’ Su An thought as he poked again.
…
‘Damn it, I won’t lose next time! I’ll cultivate now.’
The system scoffed at those words.
…
Sitting on a taishiyi was a very pretty woman who could cause the downfalls of many cities and empires. She had delicate eyelashes and elegant eyebrows, clear eyes with reddish pink lips and a small nose. A woman who seemed to be a servant stood beside her serving her every need.
“Madam, you mustn’t deal with these stressful affairs. If the patriarch knew, he would surely be worried.” The servant said worriedly.
“It’s not like I’m gonna die, besides, my child isn’t violent like that woman said they would be like. The baby is very still. I even felt it kick you know. It was fun. The child tried to guess where I would poke and poke it. Sigh, but it is a pity if the baby is a boy… Damn him and his looks. What if he hates his looks and gets jealous of other children? He might even dislike his father because he is the cause… Tell me, what do I do if the baby is a boy. You know what that the clan is like, with both of our looks, the child will be very girly…” Ling Cai said as she clenched her fist.
“Madam, you mustn’t badmouth master. And it is important that the child is a male. Although what you said was true, it isn’t patriarch’s fault that his looks are very feminine.” The servant answered.
“Fine.” She replied, puffing her cheeks. “Sigh, hopefully, he won’t end up as a spoilt kid… The clan exiles them no matter how high their talent is. After all, you know that the Gu Clan was destroyed because that brat of theirs offended a profound realm peak expert due to his arrogance. Well, they deserve it anyway, that sh- I mean that old geezer called out tradition of exiling spoilt brats stupid haha. Look at him.”
“Madam-” The servant tried to respond but was interrupted. “I know, I know. I just hope we don’t mess up his upbringing somehow. I shouldn’t be talking about this. Anyway, what do think about the fact that the two clans secretly teaming up to overthrow us?. After all, I believe they only found out that we control the Imperial Family. Well, it’s not like those of the royal family know, only the emperor knows.” Ling Cai replied.
“Madam, they are just dogs who cannot see Mt. Tai. Well, it might help influence the child as it grows up.” The servant answered. “I agree, my little baby must not become like those snotty pigs who are just frogs in a well. Susu~ Join me in cursing some people, I’m bored.” She asked as she blinked innocently.
“How many times do I have to say it Madam? Please do not call me Susu…” Susu pouted.
“Oh why is that Susu?~” Ling Cai smirked.
“We were kids then.” Susu replied.
“So?” Ling Cai raised her eyebrow.
“Sigh, I don’t care anymore. Just don’t do anything harmful to the baby.” Susu replied as she rubbed her forehead.
“As if I would. Anyway, I hope the child’s bloodline purity is high enough to learn the bloodline technique. Those old fogies are always fussing about it since hubby is the only one who had a decent enough purity.” She said worriedly.
“It’ll be okay madam. It’s not like it matters.” Susu replied.
“Oi, as if it doesn’t matter. You know how those old fogies bug m-”
“I know Madam, we have this conversation at least once almost every day.” Susu interrupted.
Little did they know that Su An’s purity would be on a whole other level.
‘…’
“I believe your dinner is ready like always Madam.” Said Susu as she looked out the window.
…
In a large room, a long rectangular table stood in the centre. Many delicate plates and utensils were placed on it. The wood used was exclusive to the Su Clan. It was not only extremely sturdy, it was also pleasing to the eye. The chairs were made from the same material. Sat on these chairs was four people. An elderly couple who looked to be in their mid-forties and a young couple. The young couple were Su An’s parents and the other were paternal his grandparents. The elderly couple gave off a calming aura as well a majestic one. It looked like a heart warming dinner but was instead a deadly one… well for Su An that is. The food looked mouth watering but the taste was in fact very bland – in comparison to the food on Earth.
Meanwhile, a certain someone screaming that he was poisoned.
‘Ah! I’ve been poisoned! How can something be so disgusting!? Save me!’ Su An cried desperately.
It isn’t my fault you have a sharp sense of taste in this life as well as your past life. The system refused which led Su An to once again sleep for another month.
