Accidentally Fated - Chapter 93
Hi guys, another update Yay! I was on leave today so I have a bit of time to write another chapter.
Here you go! Enjoy
*******
Gio kept fidgeting in his seat. He wasn’t expecting that the boss would personally take him to the hospital for his prenatal check up. Vixx was worried for him since Jerald was currently out on bail and is constantly pestering him that he had to change his phone number. He mentally took a note to inform the sisters from the orphanage about it.
He grew up in an orphanage, initially he thought his parents left him because they cannot support him and they would eventually come back for him once they have enough money. Well, that was what the sisters used to tell him until he was around twelve or thirteen when he heard the other staff talking about how they pity him for being abandoned by his parents because he manifested as an Omega. He learned from an early age how low the value of an Omega is.
Since no one wants to adopt an Omega like him, he was one of the few kids who became an adult at the orphanage. When he turned eighteen, he started working at the orphanage to help take care of the younger children but due to lack of funding, the sisters had to ask him to find employment elsewhere. Honestly, he was okay with not earning any money, he was content that he can eat three times a day and have a roof on his head but he doesn’t want to be a burden to the sisters who took care of him.
One of the staff recommended him to a restaurant owned by a couple he knows. The couple was nice to him and he was treated fairly despite being an Omega. He was happy that he was earning money and he could send help to the sisters but things changed when the couple’s Alpha son came home for a break. It started with just some verbal insinuations, then it slowly became physical. Jerald would touch him subtly here and there with a pretense of just being friendly. He told his mother about it but she just dismissed it as his son being friendly and it’s not as if an Omega like himself would suit their son. It goes on and on until one night Jerald came to his room and raped him. He told Jerald’s parents about it but he was just told that it’s his fault for being an Omega, it was his fault for seducing their son. He doesn’t know what to do, he has nowhere to go and in the end he just stayed and endured getting assaulted multiple times. He was already twelve weeks pregnant when he learned about it. Having another life inside him gave him the courage to escape. He found a small apartment and hid for a while supporting himself with the little savings he had. Jerald found him after two months of hiding and demanding that he hand over the baby once it’s born. He beat him up and that was when Chef Chad found them.
Chef Chad saved him and helped him file a case against Jerald. The Alpha took him to his restaurant and gave him work and Vixx, his head chef offered him a place to live. Both Chef Chad and Vixx have been a huge help for him. He was taught by the sisters to be grateful and appreciative but he still can’t help but feel a bit awkward to be alone with Chef Chad, he’s still an Alpha after all l and it was an Alpha who did all this to him.
“Are you okay? Tell me if you’re not feeling well. Vixx will kill me if something happens to you or the baby.” Chad asked when he saw the Omega looking uncomfortable.
“I-I’m fine Chef. I’m just sorry that I disturb your rest day. I can really go alone, Vixx is just overreacting.” Gio replied.
“I personally know what that bastard is capable of. We promise to help you so don’t think of yourself as a bother. I’m sure Vixx thinks the same. Besides, I’m meeting a friend at the hospital, I need to give him some documents for the new restaurant so it’s all good.” Chad said, giving Gio a reassuring smile. He wondered if Alex’s doctor brother would be there.
There were two patients waiting outside the consultation room when they arrived. Gio felt a pang of envy when he saw one of the couple being overly sweet. One of them, probably the baby’s father, has his arms around his partner and gently massages his partner’s shoulders. He wanted to have that kind of pregnancy moment but it didn’t happen, instead he was assaulted and knocked up by an Alpha he detested.
“Hi Alex, I miss you.” Gio was shocked when Chef Chad suddenly approached and happily greeted the couple he was just staring at a while ago.
“Chef Chad!” Alex exclaimed happily upon seeing one of Keith’s best friends.
“Stop being overly familiar with someone elses wife.” Keith said, glaring at his friend.
“You’re looking great Alex.” Chad said, smiling at Alex. “I miss you too man.” He said turning to his glaring friend.
Gio doesn’t know if he should sit or not, he stood frozen on his tracks afraid to interrupt the conversation.
“Why are you here anyway? Don’t tell me you knocked someone up?” Keith said accusingly, his eyes landed on Gio who was standing behind Chad. Alex gasped when he saw what Keith was referring to.
“No man. Of course I’m not, I’m very careful you know that. This is Gio, he’s one of my staff and Vixx ordered me to take him for his prenatal check up. You know I can’t say no to Vixx.” Chad explained as he urged Gio to come forward. “Gio, these are my friends, Keith and his wife Alex.”
“H-Hello.” Gio shyly greeted the couple.
“Alex, is it your turn already?” Chad asked, while assisting Gio to one of the seats.
“Not yet, there’s one more person before my turn.” Alex replied, pointing his fingers at the other pregnant person. Professor Lee takes less patients on Friday and it’s mostly his Omega patients.
“Great. I’m borrowing your husband for a minute.” Chad turned to Keith, showing him the documents he brought. Keith grumpily left Alex’s side and followed Chad, he called Martin and Colin to watch over Alex while he’s gone.
Gio was wondering who this couple are. He was subtly glancing at the two men standing a few meters away, guarding each side of this pregnant Omega.
“How far along are you?” Alex asked the Omega beside him.
“T-twenty four weeks. How about you?”
“I’m on my fifteenth week now. My brother said we might know the gender already, though I’m not sure if I wanted to know.” Alex giggled. “Oh, my brother is one of the Doctors here, he’s working under Doctor Lee.” Alex explained when he saw the confused look on Gio’s face. “How about you? Do you know the gender of the baby?” Alex asked.
Gio went silent, unsure how to answer the other Omega’s questions without having the need to explain his situation.
“Oh, it’s fine if you don’t want to share.” Alex smiled understandingly.
“N-no, it’s alright. Actually this will be my first prenatal check up.” Gio replied. He couldn’t say that he doesn’t have money to go to the hospital. The first time a doctor checked his baby’s status was during that night Jerald assaulted him. He was so relieved to know that the baby is doing well. He tried his best to eat nutritiously with the little money he had.
“Ohh, okay. I guess we’re the same. It was also my first prenatal check up. When we learned I was expecting, Doctor Lee wasn’t around yet so this would be my first scheduled appointment with him.” Alex nodded understandingly though he was surprised that the other Omega is only having his first check up when he’s already heavily pregnant.
“Brat, it’s your turn.” Matt suddenly appeared, interrupting the two Omega’s conversation. “Where’s that husband of yours?” Matt asked, glancing at the two bodyguards who tackled him before. “By the way, good to see you again Mr. Lopez.”
“You know him?” Alex asked surprised.
“Of course I know him, he’s one of my patients.” He replied, flicking Alex’s forehead.
“Ouch! Hey, pregnant person here!” Alex glared at his brother as he massaged his temple. “This is the brother I mentioned.”
“Ohh.” Gio tried not to look surprised as the two men don’t resemble each other the least bit.
“Hello Doctor, how are you doing?” Chad greeted Mattie enthusiastically much to the latter’s chagrin.
“Hi Matt.” Keith greeted his brother in law.
“It’s Alex’s turn now, we should head inside.” Matt said to Keith, completely ignoring Chad’s greetings. “I’ll see you later Mr. Lopez.”
“He’s so adorable!” Chad laughed as the couple followed Matt to the consultation room.

“Hi Alex, how are you doing?” Professor Lee asked, smiling at the pregnant Omega. He glanced at the way Keith was holding his wife and was very happy that the couple are doing well. It warms his heart when a pregnant Omega is being taken care of by their partner.
“I’m doing very well, Doctor Lee. Bean’s been behaving lately. My morning sickness has slowed down and I can eat regularly now.” Alex replied.
“That’s very good to know, honestly with the way you were throwing up before I thought you would have it a little longer, thankfully your little Bean cooperated. I wonder who it takes after?” Professor Lee said.
“Definitely not from the mother. Maybe from Uncle.” Mattie answered.
Professor Lee laughed heartily at Matt’s answer. “I guess your Uncle Mattie now.”
“My Bean will not take after a meanie Uncle. I would be grateful if he takes after my caring and loving husband.” Alex countered as the nurse assisted him to the bed for his ultrasound.
Professor Lee’s laughter filled the room as he found the brothers bantering very amusing. “I guess it’s safe to stay quiet when these two are arguing like this.” He said looking at Keith who’s standing worriedly beside his wife. “This will feel a little cold.” Professor Lee gently said as he put the gel on Alex’s stomach. “Hmm, let’s see, the baby’s doing fine, the heartbeat is strong. The growth is within expectation and I think in two to three weeks you might feel the movement already.” The old man explained, smiling.
“Really Doctor? Bean would be kicking already?” Alex asked excitedly. “Did you hear that Keith? We can feel Bean real soon.”
Keith smiled lovingly at his wife. His heart is full from looking at Bean from the screen. He couldn’t find any words to say afraid that he would choke if he tried so he just kissed Alex’s forehead.
“Do you guys want to know the gender of the baby? Seems like we can see it if we’re lucky.” Professor Lee offered.
“Keith?” Alex turned to his husband for his opinion.
“Do you want to know?”
“I don’t know.”
“Hmmm, actually Sebastian suggested that we could save it for later. We can get the result from Doctor Lee without knowing Bean’s gender and let Sebastian decorate Bean’s room based on it. What do you think? We could let Sebastian plan Bean’s gender reveal once the room is ready. Unless you want to decorate the room yourself. I’m okay with whatever you want.”
Alex ponders for a moment. He could still decide what would be inside Bean’s room or how it would look in general. He kinda likes the idea of a gender reveal through the baby’s room. He nodded excitedly at Keith and then to Professor Lee who happily turned the screen away from them.
“Your baby is really cooperative. It didn’t take long for me to find the gender.” Professor Lee informed the couple. He then instructed the nurse to put the 3D print of the ultrasound separately. One envelope for the gender and the other for the scans they printed out earlier while checking the baby’s status.
Professor Lee gave them a few pointers and gave them a list of pregnancy classes they could attend together that would help Alex when he gives birth.
“Do you have any questions?” Professor Lee asked.
Alex’s face turned red, he wanted to ask something but he couldn’t not in his brother’s presence.
Professor Lee took the hint and laughed. “Yes, it’s still okay but try to be gentle, if you feel any pain during penetration then you should stop and check for any bleeding, if there is, come to the hospital so we could assess the situation but generally should be fine. Your baby is doing pretty well.”
“God, I can’t believe I’m hearing about my brother’s sex life.” Mattie groaned as if he’s disgusted or something.
Keith cleared his throat unsure how to respond to his brother in law.
After a few reminders, the couple bid Mattie and Professor Lee goodbye. Chad wanted to have dinner with them after Gio’s appointment but they had to decline as they were heading to meet Keith’s parents. Alex’s face turned white as he was reminded of what’s to come. He wondered if they would have a peaceful meal or maybe a chaotic dinner instead.
