After My Crush Reincarnated, I Can Hear Her Inner Voice - Chapter 30
Chapter 30 The Interview Was a Success
The Interview Was A Success
“Okay, Sister Fang. I’m so embarrassed that I have been troubling you lately.” Gu Shihui said.
Sister Fang’s hearty laughter sounded from the phone. “What are you talking about? I’m just lending a helping hand.”
“No matter what, I still have to thank you,” Gu Shihui said.
Sister Fang said “Okay, okay, okay. I’ll ask him to contact you after I hang up the phone.”
Gu Shihui hung up the phone.
Li Yizheng asked, “Did Sister Fang manage to find someone?”
Gu Shihui, “Yes, she found someone. She said he’ll contact us after she hangs up the phone.”
Just as Gu Shihui finished speaking, the phone rang again.
Gu Shihui raised her phone and shook it. She said to Li Yizheng, “Hey, maybe this is him.”
She picked up the phone. “Hello.”
“Yes, no problem.”
“Okay, you can come over now. I’ll send you our address later.”
“Okay, see you later.”
Gu Shihui hung up the phone.
She sent the internet cafe address.
She said to Li Yizheng, “It’s him. He said he can come to work today. I’ve sent him the address.”
“Ok,” Li Yizheng replied.
Gu Shihui: “Aren’t you going to sleep for a while?”
“No,” Li Yizheng said.
So the two of them sat on the sofa and enjoyed this wonderful time.
Of course, they had to ignore those people who were playing enthusiastically and swearing from time to time.
The person introduced by Sister Fang didn’t make Gu Shihui and Li Yizheng wait too long.
“Hello, I was introduced by Sister Fang,” a boy who looked to be eighteen or nineteen, introduced himself.
Gu Shihui and Li Yizheng were slightly surprised to see this.
Gu Shihui had just talked to this person on the phone. Although she already knew that the person would be a boy, she didn’t expect it to be such a young boy.
“You were introduced by Sister Fang? But you don’t look like a grown-up yet,” Gu Shihui said in surprise. “I’m already an adult. I’m nineteen this year,” The boy said.
“Nineteen? But shouldn’t you be in school now? What’s your name?” Gu Shiyu asked.
The boy scratched his head shyly and said, “My name is Du Shuai.”
“I’m not in school now, but I’m studying on my own preparing for this year’s college entrance exam.”
“And now I’m looking for a job to make a living.”
“This job at the internet cafe not only can earn money, but also give me free time to study.”
“Of course, there are many people who are unwilling to hire me for this reason.”
“But it’s okay, sorry to bother you.”
Du Shuai said so much, but he didn’t see any reaction from Gu Shihui and Li Yizheng.
Therefore, he thought that the result of the interview was the same as the previous one and they were unwilling to hire him.
He nodded to the two of them and turned around to leave.
It didn’t matter. At most, he could just search for two more and he would be able to find one eventually.
Du Shuai comforted himself in his heart.
“Wait.” Gu Shihui called out to him and walked in front of him.
“2,000 yuan a month. You can rest for four days and your food and accommodation will be reimbursed. Is there a problem with starting work today?”
Du Shuai was stunned. He didn’t seem to think that he would pass the interview.
“Why? Do you think the salary is not high enough?” Gu Shihui asked.
After all, she did not know what the salary outside was like so she thought it was too low.
“If I had known earlier, I would have asked about the market first.” Gu Shihui thought to herself.
Li Yizheng did not have any intention of interrupting her. He let Gu Shihui decide on everything, giving her absolute trust.
Just when Gu Shihui was about to ask him what salary he was expecting, Du Shuai said excitedly, “No problem, no problem. I can go to work right away. The salary is enough.”
Then he explained, “It’s because the salary and pay you guys gave me was too high. I didn’t react in time.”
It turned out that when Du Shuai was looking for a job in the past, the boss saw that he was young and always exploit him.
Not only did he not give him the usual salary, but he also made him do things that were not his job.
Du Shuai also took over the job of a network administrator before but his monthly salary was only around 1,000 yuan.
It shocked him that Gu Shihui gave him 2,000 yuan a month and she also gave him such good benefits.
After Gu Shihui understood the situation, she also smiled. “I thought it was because the salary was low but it doesn’t matter. Do your best. Your salary will be higher in the future.”
“Thank you,” Du Shuai said gratefully. “Well, since you can go to work immediately, today is your first day.”
“Let me explain it to you. You should get familiar with it.” Gu Shihui waved at Du Shuai.
Du Shuai walked toward her.
Gu Shihui spent half an hour explaining the prices of each item, the time it took to log on to the computer, and the fees.
Du Shuai was indeed smart. Gu Shihui only told him once but he had already memorized everything
“By the way, you can sit here to read and study when there’s no one around. The environment might be a little noisy.”
“There’s even a sofa here if you’re tired. You can rest too. When the time comes, I’ll buy you a quilt or you can bring it over if you have
it.”
“And these snacks and water, you can take them and eat them.”
Gu Shihui added after she finished her introduction.
Li Yizheng saw that Gu Shihui was completely engrossed in her work and couldn’t help but fall into a trance.
“Hey, are you going or not? Come back to your senses.” Gu Shihui’s hand waved in front of Li Yizheng’s eyes.
Li Yizheng shook his head and looked at Gu Shihui. “Huh? What did you say? I was distracted.”
Gu Shihui rolled her eyes helplessly. “I said, I’ve told him everything. He can go to work now, so we can go.”
“Let’s go eat. You can go home early and rest.”
Li Yizheng nodded. “Okay, that’s good too.”
So Gu Shihui and Li Yizheng greeted Du Shuai and left.
They found a noodle shop and ate two bowls of noodles before leaving.
Li Yizheng sent Gu Shihui to her house downstairs as usual. “Go back and take a shower. You should rest early. You’ve been exhausted these two days,” Gu Shihui said as she looked at the dark circles under Li Yizheng’s eyes.
Li Yizheng nodded. “Go up. You should rest early too. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Gu Shihui turned around and went upstairs.
Li Yizheng waited until the lights in Gu Shihui’s room were on before he turned around and left.
Li Yizheng returned home. After taking a shower, he rang up his father.
The phone rang for a long time, but no one picked up.
Just as Li Yizheng was about to hang up, the other party picked up the phone.
“Hello son, what’s the matter?” Li Yizheng’s father’s tired voice sounded from the other end of the phone.
“Dad, nothing. I just wanted to ask haven’t you finished your work yet?” Li Yizheng asked.
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone. “Well, it’s a bit tricky, but it’ll end soon. It’ll only be for a few days.”
