After Transformation, Mine and Her Wild Fantasy - Book 2: Chapter 112
“There’s someone at the front.”
Lunaria and the others stiffened at Yexi’s comment. After all, who would come to this direction other than their enemies, and if they were in a big group, there would be a chance of them getting surrounded.
“How many people are there?” Darmiala asked softly. Yexi did not answer her immediately but swiftly knelt down to the floor with her fair skin pressing against the muddy dirt. She then narrowed her eyes slightly while listening to the footsteps. Everyone was afraid to interrupt Yexi and did not make any sound that could disturb her.
After a while, Yexi stood up again while wiping the dirt off her face, “Based on the footsteps, there must be around two to three hundred people. They’re probably not the students, but the natives here.”
Natives! Then it must be the Nitans.
What Yexi said made Niluke, Gui Dong Ri, and the others pale. But when they suddenly remembered the pictures shown to them by Teacher Three at the time, their pale faces turned to red again.
“So, what should we do? Advance or retreat?” Yexi asked.
Darmiala thought for a few seconds before answering, “We will advance. Sooner or later, we will have to deal with the natives anyway. So why not face them right now, and at the same time, we can estimate their weapon’s power and see whether or not it’s harmful to us.”
“According to Teacher Three, I can hear three Nitans’ footsteps who are heavier than the others, specifically known as the Nitan soldiers. However, there are no Nitan warriors among them.” Yexin said and did not mention King Nitan. If such a strong opponent was here at the moment, Yexin would have ordered everyone to run without explaining anything.
“Three Nitan soldiers…… The other Nitans are not a concern for us right now, testing how powerful these three Nitan soldiers is our top priority.”
As Darmiala finished speaking, Long Tu stood out and smacked both his fists together.
“I’ll take care of the Nitan soldiers.”
“No, you can easily get rid of them with one punch. We can’t test their strength in this way.” Darmiala shook her head, which made Long Tu scratch his head while thinking of arguing back. Finally, he did not say anything as he thought the test was more important than anything else.
“I think Lunaria should go. In this team, she’s not the strongest nor the weakest, and she’s good in both magic and physical attacks. Thus, making her the most suitable person to fight the three Nitan soldiers.”
Lunaria nodded her head without thinking much.
After all, the whole reason why she came here was to prove herself. Furthermore, she had not been using her skill, Heaven Sword Ensemble, other than that time during the auction house and this was a perfect time to take advantage of it.
Leah was a little worried and asked when Lunaria did not reject the plan, “I don’t think this is a good idea. If you’re planning to send Lunaria out, why not send me…..”
“Leah.” Lunaria cut Leah off and revealed her smile which she had never seen before.
“Don’t worry about me, I’m a grown-up too.”
Such a smile made Leah’s heart stunned, as her lips open slightly, she realised she could not say anything. In an instant, she felt like she did not recognise Lunaria anymore as she never showed such looks and smile before.
Darmiala smiled a little, ever since what happened to Lunaria last time, she seemed to have completely changed into a new person. In other words, she seemed to be more humane than before, and more charming too.
However, Darmiala and the others had also asked Lunaria about this matter too, but unfortunately, she herself was in the dark too. She heard it from Leah that she had amnesia before, and knew nothing about her own health, making Darmiala face a dead end.
After fully prepared, Darmiala exchanged glances with everyone before nodding her head. Then, all of them either used Body Technique or cast Agility Arts to rush out from the forests.
The sun was shining brightly, increasing everyone’s field of vision. Suddenly, dozens of straw tents appeared in front of them.
The Nitan soldier responsible for securing the perimeter responded unpleasantly, when he saw an unidentified enemy rushing towards them, he immediately sounded a barbaric roar. Upon hearing the roar, the remaining two Nitan soldiers rushed out from their straw tents, and as they saw Lunaria and the others, they picked up their weapons without a second thought.
The other Nitans were used to the life of war. As they saw a small number of enemies attacking them, they too immediately took out their stone and wooden sticks from their straw tents and ran towards the enemy with an unpleasant roar.
Lunaria doubled her speed at the moment and rushed to the very front. As she was getting closer to the Nitan soldier, she drew her sword out and slashed forward.
Although the Nitan soldiers had low intelligence, they had a good fighting instinct. When one of the Nitan soldiers saw Lunaria’s sword slashing fast towards them, he immediately lifted the wooden stick to block it. As their weapons clashed against each other, Lunaria realised that her slash had no damage towards their wooden stick, instead, it was parried by it.
Lunaria could feel pain at her palm, but she did not care about it that much. She then changed her steps, although she did not use the Ten Million Body Bending Technique, her Agility Arts too was giving her an advantage. Suddenly, she appeared beside the Nitan soldier and a beam of blue light shot out from her index finger, hitting his ribs and taking a few pieces of his meat when it came out from the other way.
Second level magic, Thunder Worm.
With an 80% power increase of Lunaria’s thunder elements, the power of this thunder magic soared. After shooting through the Nitan soldier’s body, the power of the beam had not decreased much as it continued destroying a couple of straw tents in its path.
The Nitan soldier made a terrified scream as he covered his ribs. Despite the attack, his strong physique allowed the Nitan soldier who was half a meter higher than Lunaria to firmly stabilise his body.
Lunaria took the opportunity and changed the target of her sword to the injured Nitan soldier’s head. Once successful, there would be no chance in surviving no matter how tenacious grip he had with his life. At this time, the other two Nitan soldiers quickly rushed towards them. As they saw their companion facing a life or death situation, their eyes suddenly flushed red and roared angrily.
However, Lunaria did not stop the attack with her sword even when the other Nitan soldiers were getting closer. At the next moment, a huge head flew up to the sky, and blood splashed upwards like a fountain, and finally fell down to the ground like rain.
Lunaria used clever movements and magic to avoid getting splashed by the blood. At the same time, she used the chance to rush towards the other Nitan soldier, and the distance between the both was shortened in a blink of an eye.
On the other hand, Di Zi and the others could be said to be participating in a massacre. Nonetheless, none of the two or three hundred Nitans chose to escape, all of them were like psychopaths, rushing towards them without a second thought. Unfortunately, before they had the chance to get closer, Di Zi had already killed most of them with his sword.
Such a brutal and bloody scene made Gui Dong Ri, Niluka and the others a bit sick. After all, they were not humans nor were they innocent people, that was why they were not disgusted by it, and naturally, they did not like it too.
Darmiala was calmed and walked past the dead bodies and the pools of blood then came to their straw tents. She bent down and surprisingly, the inside of the tent did not have a strong body odor as she expected. That was because the tents had ventilation designed in it, and the surrounding was relatively dry. However, due to the geographical environment, the soil was incredibly muddy and the insides had a bed, some weapons and foods. As Darmiala glanced to the other side, she found a Nitan baby sleeping soundly in her bed.
