Agartha Quest For The Legacy - Chapter 61 Chained
“No, I never blamed them.” Olympia averted her eyes. Although she couldn’t see him, she didn’t want to meet his eyes. She knew that she blamed them all these years, and something told her that this was the thing that made them leave her. If this was what happened, she needed to know the complete truth. She needed to search for them.
“Heh.” The man mocked her, but a smile surfaced on his face seeing her face changing colors. He knew that she must have figured it out.
Olympia looked at him and shook her head. She wondered how he knew the truth about her. Olympia blinked her eyes and stated, “I hated them because I missed them. I blamed them for leaving me all alone. I wanted to live the life a normal girl usually does, with my parents. Instead, I was left all alone in that place. I had to rise up on my own and if my Master hadn’t found me at that time, I wouldn’t have lived for long.”
She took a deep breath and continued, “I knew they were being chased, but why did they need to seal me in that place? I haven’t recovered from that yet.”
“I know that you haven’t. I sent your master to that place. He didn’t know why he saved you at that time, but there was something that pulled him towards that place. I knew that you were almost dying. He was the only hope left. I know you took revenge from those people too. But believe me, your parents were never in the wrong. They tried very hard to fight.”
“Yes, I understand.” The frost surrounding her almost thawed. Her mother became normal as soon as she entered the array.
Demetria looked at her daughter and said, “What’s wrong, my child?”
“Mother, your eyes!” She said pointing at them.
Demetria looked puzzled, “What happened to my eyes?”
“It has golden rims around your iris.”
Demetria tried to channel her aura, but soon found out that she couldn’t do anything. Neither could she use her fire power nor her spiritual energy.
She looked terrified. She looked at her father who was standing there at a distance, with his hands on his waist.
Once again, she was betrayed by her loved ones. Once again, her trust was broken. Once again She didn’t want to think anymore. What they did to her was unacceptable, but she didn’t know that the worst was yet to come.
She saw her father approaching her husband. He formed a ball of fire with spiralling golden threads. The ball grew more and more and she could feel herself losing her own strength. She murmured, “What’s happening? That’s my power. I can feel it. But how can he take my power like that?”
Soon the Dragon and Phoenix Ancestor merged together into a ball of light and like a shooting star sped towards the array. Olympia thought that they would clash against the barrier, but found that the barrier didn’t block them. As they reached the interior of the array, they separated into two entities and said, “There is not much time left. We gotta make it fast. But your Mother can’t hear us. She is under a spell. She has also been poisoned. The only person who can stop these two monsters is you. We have our faith in you.”
“But” Olympia was going to say something when the Dragon Ancestor cut her off.
“When I tell you to attack, attack without hesitation. I shall lend you our powers for the time being.”
“But” The Phoenix Ancestor glared at her, but soon her proud eyes turned gentle as she reached for her head and patted it.
“Kiddo, listen to him. He means no harm.” As soon as her calming voice fell on her, she found herself calming down.
Both the Dragon Elder and the Phoenix Elder stood behind her and raised their arms together, clasped each other’s palms and slowly tried to divert their energy towards Olmpia. When she got hit by the first beam of energy inside her, she felt her veins calming down.
A warm feeling started enveloping her, and soon, a reddish aura surrounded her, fluctuating and then stabilising, and the procedure kept continuing till it ended and a faint halo could be seen around her. The halo glowed brighter and grew smaller and entered her heart.
A bone-piercing pain assaulted Olympia as she stood there gritting her teeth. Her heart had a solid encasing, and no power could reach her heart. Her heart can’t be destroyed by normal means, but she knew that they were trying to lend her their powers, so she had to accept them.
As her mindset changed, the powers easily made way to her heart and soon there was a warm sensation which made her giddy inside her. She had an urge to laugh, but she controlled the desire. This power seemed to create an internal battle within her.
Before she could do anything, she saw that they reached her father who was still chanting something under his breath, and was dragging him by his hair. They took him to another formation, solely made up of the Phoenix clan members.
Realization dawned upon her. But it was too late to do anything. Now that she had assistance, she wasn’t afraid. She saw them kicking him on the back of his knees and making him kneel in between them. A mad echo of laughter followed. His hands and feet were shackled with thick iron chains and they went a step ahead and bound a rope to his long hair.
It was heartbreaking for Olympia to watch her Majestic father being chained like that, but she couldn’t leave the array, no matter how much she tried.
Overwhelmed with terrifying rage, Olympia let out a cry towards the sky which shook the mountains, “Let’s see which array stops me from killing you puny little animals. How dare you try to enslave my father? How dare you conspire against my parents? Do you want my heart? Come here, let me give you my heart.” A twisted smile rested on her lips towards the end.
