Agent College - Chapter 100
Afternoon, Goodwill hospital.
As Alena, Sam and Austin didn’t get much from going back to the agency they returned back to the hospital.
They didn’t find uncle and aunty outside Mike’s room. They were inside. Aunty had put her head down and uncle was sitting on the chair. Mike was still lying. His eyes were closed, the face that looked fine just yesterday was having such bad injuries her mother’s heart ached. But it was afternoon and they both had been in hospital since morning without any food.
“Austin, I will get food for uncle and aunty go try to convince them that after lunch they should go home. Its not good for their health.” Sam said.
“Hmm okay. I will try.” Austin said.
“Can..I come with you Sam?” Alena asked.
“Sure.” Sam said.
Sam and Alena walked towards a near by restaurant Sam ordered the food and then both of them took a seat as they waited for their take away to get ready.
Sam looked depressed. Well, anyone would be.
“Don’t worry he’ll be fine.” Alena said.
“Hmm…I hope so.” Sam said.
“Ooof, he will be. I know!” Alena said.
Though Sam too knew that Mike would be fine. But he was not focussing on this matter, he was more concerned that why Alena would suspect Charlie, a new agent behind this. Being a straightforward guy Sam didn’t hesitated much and asked her straight “Alena, why do you think Charlie is behind all this?”
“If we enter in the opponents team disguised as one of them then can’t opponents use the same trick?” Alena asked.
Sam couldn’t deny this fact. But the point is, entering in the HQ is not so easy. Even if what Alena said is true, they need evidence which they don’t have…yet.
“Sir, your take away is ready.” A waitress said as she handed the bags of take away.
Sam took the bags and paid for it and left for the hospital.
“I hope Austin has convinced uncle and aunty..” Sam said.
Luckily, Austin had. After lunch Mr. and Mrs Angelo did leave the hospital though they didn’t wanted to. They just trusted Sam & Austin to take care of Mike.
On the other hand, Harold’s apartment.
“Critical condition only?” Harold said as he received the news of Mike’s health.
“Yes sir. But there are chances he may die…” Tony said.
“Hmm, reading about that guy. He is thick skinned, won’t die so easily.” Harold said.
“Then sir…what should we do?” Tony asked.
“Hmm…of course we got to kill him but without leaving any traces. We cannot make any mistake. If we make, the agency might find out the whole history about our agency.” Harold said as he sat on his sofa and thought a plan to kill Mike without leaving any traces.
“We can call the professionals.” Tony suggested.
“Hmm, let me go look at the situation first. After all I gotta meet my ‘Senior’ at the hospital since he is injured.” Harold said as he got up from sofa and wore his jacket.
After some minutes. Charlie (Harold) reached the hospital.
Sam and Austin were inside Mike’s room and Alena was outside, drinking coffee.
Charlie walked up to her and sat beside her. He asked “I..heard the news. How is Mike sir?”
Alena got scared for a second as no one was sitting beside her until now. She turned to him and said “Hmm…he is fine now. Why are yiu here so late?”
“Oh..I had college.” Charlie (Harold) said.
“Oh.” Alena said.
“I gotta say Alena Willson, you have got some great acting skills. Or..maybe you are just keeping your guard up?” Harold thought as he looked at her.
Indeed, Harold wasn’t thinking wrong. Alena didn’t let her guard down in front of this guy even for a second but inside…Alena was feeling scared but angry at the same time. It was a shame she cannot just kill this guy even when he is in front of him. Why, you ask? Well…if Alena does kill him she will have to answer the agency because right now, this guy comes under agency and according to the rules you cannot harm other agent for no reason or without a proof that the agent has harmed someone whether it be in past or present.
After a while, Sam and Austin came out of the room.
“How’s he?” Alena asked.
Sam shook his head in disappointment as there was still no response. The only thing that could be confirmed was that at least he was breathing.
“Its almost evening Alena, you have been here since morning. Why don’t you go home?” Sam said.
“Nope, I’ll stay for night. I have already informed mom and dad and they have given me the permission to stay.” Alena said.
“Are you sure?” Austin asked.
“Hmm, yeah.” Alena said.
Alena might be keeping her guard up but saying that she would be staying in the hospital for night, that too, in front of Charlie (Harold) was a big mistake.
“Take care Alena ma’am.” Charlie (Harold) said as he left the hospital with Sam and Austin.
As they left, finally Alena entered in Mike’s room. She sat on the chair beside his bed. It was unbelievable for her to see this guy in such a state. Though she didn’t wanted to cry but the tears came out from her eyes on its own.
“Why..am I crying?” She thought as she touched her wet cheeks. She got her head down on Mike’s bed and stayed like that for a while, until… Mike showed some movement.
Seeing the movement, Alena freaked out but she called the doctor immediately. The doctor came on her call and examined Mike. He smiled as he saw the patient in front of him and said to Alena “Either this guy is loved by too many people so the prayers worked or its a miracle. But I can say that the patient is good now.”
Alena felt a sigh of relief, her heart beat which had gotten fast by Mike’s sudden movement slowly came down to its normal rate. Alena informed the good news to Austin & Sam and asked them to inform about this to his parents.
“Ay…why did he get out of his critical condition so fast?” Harold thought as he read the chat.
Alena had messaged in group so she doesn’t have to messaged everyone individually.
“Tony! We’ll be leaving for the hospital at sharp 3 am.” Harold called.
“Why sir?” Tony asked.
“You are here to assist me, just obey my commands. Don’t ask questions.” Harold said.
“Sorry sir. So, what do you want me to do sir?” Tony asked.
“Get ready a car and check if there are any cameras in the room of Goodwill Hospital. If there are any, ask your people to handle the recordings when we go to the hospital at 3 am.” Harold said.
“Consider it done sir. Anything else?” Tony said.
“Hmm oh and…I need some special material for re doing my ‘task’” Harold said.
“Name them. I will get them ready as soon as possible.” Tony said.
