Agent College - Chapter 91
As Alena kept reading, some memories started to come in her head. Alena stopped reading the book as she couldn’t handle the memories that kept coming.
“I knew romance is not my genre! I told Ally but no…she just would not listen!” Alena thought as she lied down on bed.
“But….what if…” Alena thought as she hugged a pillow tightly just like a kid who hugs a pillow when they think there might be a ghost under the bed.
“Nah…definetely not! How about I ask him?” Alena thought as she got up.
After 30 minutes, mustering her courage she finally called Mike. He was not busy or anything so he picked up the call immediately.
“Hi…” Alena said in a low voice.
“Hi…” Mike tried to immitate her voice.
“Nice immitations but…voice is not feminine..” Alena said as she chuckled hearing Mike’s immitation.
“I gave my best though…” Mike said with sad voice.
“Okay okay… But I didn’t call you to appreciate your immitation skills.” Alena said as she shook her head.
“Well, what did you call me for?” Mike asked.
“Uh…Ok..” Alena took a deep breathe before asking what she wanted to. “So…last night, I remember I came to base house to take my phone but I ended up going to roof to see the stars…now, you were there… BUT we didn’t talk or anything, right? I just fainted and you picked me up and lied me down, right?” Alena asked.
Alena was expecting a yes. She expected that the memory that she was having must be a false memory and shouldn’t be real.
Mike didn’t respond immediately either. He came into his balcony, looked at the sky. Thought something for some seconds and said “Yeah, that’s exactly what happened.”
Alena took a sigh of relief as she heard Mike’s response.
“Phew! Well…okay..thanks. Sorry to disturb and I’ll hang up the call now.” Alena said as she hung up the phone.
Mike too smiled lightly and kept his phone back in his pocket. Mike looked at the sky for a long time. His head was filled with thoughts if he had done the right thing…Not telling Alena that he does know her secret had a good intention of course but this was lying..and it could hurt her if she finds out that he lied to her. It was 12:00, he looked at the time and realised that he should sleep.
“Well…I guess I will sleep… the new agent is going to come tomorrow….sigh…” Mike walked inside the room as he stretched his arms.
The next day.

“So, this is the base house and…here our tour ends.” Sam said as the guys entered inside the base house with Charlie, the new agent.
“Okay…cool…” Charlie said.
“Well, we aren’t your only seniors by the way. You have three senior female agents too.” Mike said.
“Oh?” Charlie asked.
“Yeah. Although just senior in position in agency. As you are just the same age as ours they are junior in that case.” Austin said.
“Oh…okay. Will keep that in mind.” Charlie said.
Charlie is just the same age as Mike, Sam and Austin. He studies in different college. He looks quite charming, talks nicely. In short, a perfect guy!
After a while, the girls entered the base house. Seeing that the female senior agents have finally arrived, Mike introduced Charlie to the girls.
“This is Ally, Sabrina & Alena.” Mike said.
“Girls, this is Charlie. He’ll be training with us for 3 months..at least that is what I expect.” Mike said as he rolled his eyes towards the girls.
Charlie shook hands with the girls “Nice to meet you ma’am.” He said.
At that time, when Alena looked at the guy’s photo she already had felt a sense of familiarity but now… the sense of familiarity turned into fright. To hide her frightened expression Alena went to the washroom just when Charlie got busy talking with the guys.
“No, no, no…it can’t be him! The-the face is different. I am imagining things, yesterday I thought that I might’ve told Mike..what happened on 14th September and now this…jeez Alena! Calm down!” Alena thought to herself.
She washed her face and came out of the washroom.
“You okay?” Ally asked.
“Yeah…what could happen to me?” Alena said with a smile and putting bothof her hands on waist.
Mike who never observed Alena carefully was looking at her right now. Seeing her smile he was feeling happy. And made a mistake, smiled in front of Charlie and his boys.
“Sigh…which girl is it?” Sam asked.
“Hmm?” Mike diverted his attention from Alena to Sam’s question.
“You were just smiling without a reason… ” Sam said.
“Oh…was I? Well, just remembered a good joke so…smiled…is it a crime or something?” Mike asked.
“Tell us the joke too then!” Austin said as he winked at Mike.
Even if Mike wanted to tell that he is smiling because a person even braver than them is standing in front of him, smiling despite what happened to her in the past he couldn’t. He had made pinky promise after all!
“Romeo? Where is your Juliet?” Austin asked as he saw Mike again going back in his daydreaming world.
“Leave it. I am going home, Charlie you can go as well.” Mike said.
“Okay sir.” Charlie said.
On Mike’s command, Charlie left the base house and went back to his rented apartment.
“Tony, come in 15 minutes. I got news for you!” Charlie said.
“Uh…okay. Be right there!” Tony said.
After 10 minutes, Tony reached at Charlie’s rented apartment.
“So, what’s the news sir?” Tony asked.
“You know its quite hard to be a ‘goodie two shoe’ but…you know you said…that my ‘task’ still might be existing?” Charlie said as he smoked his cigarette.
“Yes…” Tony said as he got up.
“Well..The ‘task’ actually DOES exist..and I have to say… her figure now is better as compared to her 9th grade figure…” Charlie said.
“Is that so? So…as you said that you’ll re do the task…” Tony said.
“Harold never goes back on his words. Remember that.” Harold (Charlie) said.
“Of course sir.” Tony said.
“But…not now. When the right time comes.” Harold (Charlie) said with his eyes filled with fire, fire that’ll destroy WOSDA.
