Ain’t Your Regular Girlfriend - Volume 1 Chapter 60 61 The Unusual Girl
Today was usual. I was back at being the unusual girl, putting on a smile and acting normal has been ancient history.
Back at ignoring Christy’s squealing voices and finally over the stupid moody moments. Most of it all was enjoying Betty’s reaction when I scolded her for talking about me behind my back, though m usually their top topic which I care less.
Over everything, the bothering problem I’m having is this camping stuff.
I haven’t been able to decide yet. Which could have been sorted with the help of Michael’s book, if I’d opened a chapter. I was so mad at everything that I tossed it when I got home from school.
I crawled off my bed and started ransacking my room, Searching for the book I miskept. Searching my closet, a thought chimed in, what? Magritte! I stormed out of my room banging the door.
I bumped into Magritte on my way downstairs. “I’ve told you to stop going to my room!”. I said trying so hard to sound calm.
“Oh Darling, I only went there to check on you, but when I got there, everywhere was messy so I had to arrange it.”
“Gosh! What of the pink box in my closet? It was there this morning, now I can’t find it.”
“Uhm, I gave it to charity. You no longer wear the clothes in it”.
“Shit!”.
“What’s wrong?”. She asks softly.
“That’s the box I’m looking for now, I think I misplaced a book there.” I sigh heartily and raised my hand to place it on my forehead. “F.u.c.k!”. I turned walking back to my room.
“Hey, I’m sorry… We can still contact them to retrieve the book for you”. She said.
I halted and turn back to her “You think?”. Knew she was just saying that to make me feel better but the box has been gone since morning. The item would have been distributed to the less privileged.
“Though it may be a little late”. She sighs softly as if reading my mind.
“Don’t worry, I’m not mad. But please next time, ask seriously ask before going through my stuff. okay? “.
“Roger that”. She smiled with her hand stretched out to me. “Dinner will be ready in thirty minutes”.
“Okay”. I said and walked back to my room. My other alternative is to get a new one from the Glendora bookstore. Though I dislike going there because of the eye-f.u.c.k.i.n.g I receive from dudes, usually, the outside of the building is always crowded.
