Ain’t Your Regular Girlfriend - Volume 1 Chapter 81 80 Our Little Adventure
The week came faster than I ever imagined, Next week Monday was the trip day, a day everyone has been waiting for. Today being Friday, was the day Clara and I planned on going on our little adventure.
We packed lunch and snacks with us on the drive, Based on the trip journey. It was quite intriguing as we made on a different location on the list we had with us… Permitted to us by Micheal whom he and I have been on the awkward friend zone.
Even though we’ve talked to other participants on the list, we weren’t satisfied with them because they keep on repeating the same thing the other had said. Before we figured what was happening, we already zoomed out of town, into another unfamiliar town that has this big signboard by the roadside with a boldly written word. *WELCOME TO THEE LAND*
It was almost dark when the GPS beeped, that we were twenty minutes away from our destination. We had to reverse back to follow the right direction. Clara who has been sleeping, after she’d finished dancing all her favorite songs that came up in the car, was more pleased as ever when she heard the GPS last beeped. She jumped before I quickly pulled over in front of the building that was built a hundred yards from other houses we drove past on our way.
In fact, I noticed that it was the only house in the area, the damn place looks deserted “Welcome to a ghost town”. I growled while we made our way to the door and then laughed at Clara’s reaction.
We were relieved to see the door creaked open within seconds of knocking. And more relived off the ghost idea when we were inside. The inside of the house was so lively and beautiful that if you hadn’t been on the inside, you’d really believe the outside to be a ghost residential indeed… I guess the expression that says DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT’S COVER is right after all.
“Welcome”. A girl of my age, smiled at us as she leads us inside the house to seat. While She walked inside a room and drive a woman in a wheelchair to where we were sitting.
The old woman whom I thought was old until she had spoken to us was grinning as she said. “Your master called this morning, didn’t know you were serious in coming all the way here.”
Clara and I shared a quick satisfying glance before turning to here. “Master?” we asked together.
….
It was really cool driving all the way here… But I’m guessing the real coolness begins on Monday.
We hugged the free-spirited woman goodbye and made way to where we parked our car. We met her son on our way out and he waved at us as we drove off
