When they entered the house Lea and Lina excused themselves so that Katie and Liam could talk.
“How bad is it?”
“Wow Katie, no I miss you nothing.” Liam said feigning being hurt.
“Stop you know I missed you but I need to know.”
“Fine, to the public it’s pretty bad but your parents alongside Catherine, James and Samuel will help you. This whole could have been over years ago but they want to know who’s behind this before you come back.” Laim seriously said much to Katie’s chagrin.
“Do they have any leads?”
“Except Ruby, no they don’t. Initially Rose and I thought it was an old clan rival taking place especially when you taken at such a young age but it doesn’t really make sense now we think about it.”
“And I guess you are my babysitter, right Liam?”
“No, I’m not here for you. I’m here to enjoy my vacation time.” Liam said proudly but they both knew he was lying.
“I’m going to lie down. See you later.” Katie left feeling slightly better and a little bit worse she want sure.
Under a Willow tree at 19:00
James approached carefully until he could clearly see Ruby and she was alone.
“I’m glad you finally came to your senses.” Ruby said running to give James a hug.
“I’m glad I finally saw the light to.” James said as he held her close.
While they were hugging the detective along with four other police men walked up behind them.
One of the police men was holding a syringe which they injected in the unsuspecting Ruby.
Feeling the sharp pain on her neck, Ruby looked at James almost shocked but as the drug began to take effect she slumped but was caught by the police men.
“Thanks for you corporation CEO Ning.” The detective said shaking his hands.
Soon it was only James left under tree, the detective and police men had taken Ruby away. This tree was were he and Ruby would come to when they were younger, they’d have picnics, talk and watch the sunset. But now it just represented his naivety.
As he walked back to his car he hoped Samuel and Catherine were having the same lunch he had with capturing Ruby.

“Are you sure this is the right place?” Samuel asked looking at Catherine.
Stopping in her tracks, Catherine who was in Rose mode turned to Samuel with a look that said ‘excuse me, are you doubting me.’
“Nevermind, lead the way.”

Rose and Samuel accompanied by seven black roses approached a huge warehouse that looked abandoned, it was in a uninhibited part of the city, surrounded by trees and wildlife. Being well trained the black roses didn’t need any form instructions, as they got closer to the warehouse they immediately moved to their post.
“Ready Sammy?”
“As ready as I’ll ever be.”
Rose and Samuel ran to hide when they heard the sound of the car approaching, as the car passed where they were they could see the license plate.
“B1G Z? That isn’t at all obnoxious..” Rose said with an eye roll.
As they were about to keep moving so they could find a way into the fully gaurded warehouse, the Bluetooth in both Rose’s and Samuel’s ear began to speak.
“Boss! They are evacuating.!”
“What? Why?” Rose asked
“Seems they know Ruby was captured.” The voice on Bluetooth answered.
“Ok, everyone get into that warehouse. It now or never.” Rose commanded.
Rose and Samuel managed to enter because all the gaurds were focused on packing out. The warehouse had to sections on was a wide open floor with arms and vehicles and some people chained to the floor and the other was a door completely blocked off and a guard standing watch, the gaurd happened to be one of roses workers who had managed to subdue the original gaurd.
Once they were passed the door it was like they where in a completely different place, this part of the warehouse was designed as a house, with a living room that lead to a kitchen and stairs that led to only one door.
Samuel walked in looking around, “something about this place looks so familiar.” He said.
From seeing the license plate of the car now this room, a memory was pushing to come out but he just couldn’t grasp it
As they continued to walk in they came across a floor to ceiling portrait of a man.
The portrait left Samuel breathless, “Rose we have to get out of here.” Samuel said pulling Rose along with him. ” Come on we have to go.”
“Wait why? What’s wrong?” Rose asked as she attempted to catch up with Samuel. “Slow down! Why are you running?”
“Because he is running away from me!”
