All It Takes Is One Night - 46 Chapter 46
After talking with James for a while, Katie walked out her of room andimmediately halted in her track. The first thing she noticed was her parents putting on their coats with their luggage in hand.
“Where are you going?” a confused Katie asked
“Oh Katie dear, we have to go home quickly we heard there was a break-in.so… we need to hurry back.” Mother Song answered smoothly leaving no room for error.
“Is everything okay? Maybe I should I go with you, just to be safer” Katie is now feeling very worried
“No it’s necessary, you should stay here and meet the teacher, he will be here soon” saying that Father and Mother Song hastily left.
Katie was left standing in living room all alone and not really sure of what just happened. After standing for five minutes in a daze, there was a knock on the door that brought her out of her daze.
She subconsciously opened the door to see a tall man, with incredible broad shoulders and muscles that were threatening to burst through his shirt and as if that wasn’t enough his face…
Oh his face, amazingly chiseled face with a jaw line that could cut through wood and wonderfully gorgeous eyes. Katie might have been drooling.
She just stood there starring at him…
“Hey, I’m Alex.”
“Alex?” Katie asked
“We have a date tonight.”
“Ooh, you are the teacher… the teacher” giving him one more look over Katie asked
“Haha, yeah I’m a teacher” Alex seemed pleased with her reaction.
“Co- come in… my parents aren’t here, I’m not sure if dinner is still on” Katie says as Alex walks in.
Alex turns towards to fully set dining table, “well it would be a shame if all this food were to go to waste, wouldn’t it” with the second most charming smile Katie had ever seen second to James of course.
He turned and walked towards the table like he was at home and sat down leisurely.
Having no other choice, Katie walked up to the fully set table and sat down opposite from Alex. Seeing her trying her best to avoid him, let out a low chuckle. Raising his eyebrow he sat forward starring at her with a sly grin, “so who’s the boyfriend?”
Shocked, Katie looked a bit taken back at his question but for only for a second before asking back “what boyfriend?”
“Oh okay, we can pretend you don’t have a boyfriend and are not trying your best to avoid me? This looks amazing, did you make it yourself? Alex asked.
“No, I’m not a cook. My mother made them.” Katie said indifferently.
They continued with their very awkward dinner, occasionally engaging in polite conversation. They soon finished the dinner and Katie not wanting Alex to stay any longer, she casually led him towards the door and accompanied him through an awkwardly silent elevator ride and followed him out the apartment building.
As they stepped out bumped into someone Katie didn’t expect to meet.
