“Can I see an ID card and business card” Katie cautiously asked
“Of course Ms Song” the assistant smiled and showed her what she wanted.

“Where are you two going? It’s so early?”
Walking down the stairs James and Catherine were approached by Mother Ning who only looked at James while asking her question
“Good morning mother. We are on our way out, I planned a get-away with some our friends.” James replied
“Oh okay have fun.” Mother Ning said as she gazed warmly at James, “you can’t go” she turned to Catherine coldly.
“Why not mother?” Catherine didn’t seem surprised at her mother’s change in attitude.
“Because I said so. Your father and I have someone for you to meet, it’s time to get married don’t you think?”
“Mother…” James spent the next half hour trying to convince his mum to let his sister off, but it proved unsuccessful. Mother Ning was adamant on not letting Catherine go.
Behing them firm footsteps could be heard, they all turned around to see Grammie Ning along with Father Ning walking down the stairs.
“Arguing so early in the morning.” Although they all seemed to be arguing grandma Ning only looked towards Mother Ning disdainfully.
“Good Morning Grammie, good morning Father” both James and Catherine warmly greeted them feeling relieved that their saviors arrived.
