Almighty Summoner System - Chapter 272
Two days have passed since Yakob went back to Falcon City to procure the ingredients for the treatment of Ciera and his students.
During these past two days, it was Rila and Ban who took care of the infected along with Raul.
Ban went hunting most of the time and would only come back during meal time and during the night.
A lot has happened during these past two days. Ban never slacked off and continued to work hard to become stronger. He was getting more and more familiar with fighting as he experienced countless battles against strong Beasts.
These past two days, Ban has managed to hunt a total of 32 Beast, 3 of them are Lord Grades and he managed to collect their Beast Cores, adding it to his collections.
Unfortunately, there weren’t any Skill Crystal from all of them, making Ban think that his luck has truly already run out. Though, he mostly hunted Elite Grade ones for some easy kills. He truly wanted to max out the feeding count on the Unknown Egg already.
Twenty eight of the Elite Grade Beast he killed was already fed to the Unknown Egg, bringing the total to a staggering 41/50 count. He now only needs 9 kills to let this Unknown Egg finally hatch.
He still has an extra 4 Elite Grade Beasts’ body remaining so that would mean he now only needs to kill 5 more to finally complete the requirement.
The sun was already setting so Ban, and Tria were now on their way back to the camp.
Tria has already absorbed the Purmi Fruit, increasing her intelligence by a lot. Ban also tried to give one slice of Purmi Fruit to Eva before but she was not interested in it.
Instead, Eva has been focusing on cultivating inside his Beast Tattoo lately. After absorbing 3 Beast Cores, 2 of which are F-Apprentice Rank and the last one being E-Elite Rank, Eva was finally breaking through or evolving to become an E-Elite Rank herself, the same Rank as Ban.
At this moment, Eva was still inside Ban’s Beast Tattoo, not that far away from the Unknown Egg, ranking up diligently. She has been evolving ever since this morning, and Ban has no idea when it will finish. However, he has an inkling that it might finish tonight or by tomorrow at most.
On the other hand, Tria was not slacking during these past two days either. She managed to absorb the Purmi Fruit and 2 Beast Cores of F-Apprentice Rank, including the one she wasn’t able to finish before. Her rate of absorption became faster due the increase of her intelligence brought by the Purmi Fruit’s effects as well as the fact that she was cultivating diligently inside Ban’s Beast Tattoo.
In fact, after absorbing 2 Beast Cores, she was also on the verge of breaking through as well. It looks like she would only need a little push or a catalyst in order to rank up.
Ban has not been slacking off either, he also managed to absorb 6 Beast Cores of varying ranks, leaving him only 2 Beast Cores left including the Elite Grade Pseudo D-Master Rank Core. However, despite absorbing many, he only managed to fill his own core by a little. Most of the essence seeped out of him and was absorbed by his two friends.
Ban still didn’t know and was not aware of their identity, but he just hoped that they would soon come out to help him.
After 10 minutes of travelling, Ban and Tria finally managed to reach the camp. Ban disembarked from Tria from afar to avoid Raul and the others from knowing that he got another Summon aside from Eva.
He then stored Tria inside the Beast Tattoo to rest and hand her the F-Apprentice Rank Beast Core for her to cultivate.
After keeping all of his items inside his Dimensional Storage, Ban finally walked towards the camp area while carrying a huge boar. He hunted this boar along the way for their meal. Aside from training alone, hunting for their food was also one of his excuses why he would always go away during the day.
Arriving at the camp, it was Rila’s Summon, the Sneaky Ostrich, who managed to spot him first. It then notified Rila about his arrival as per her order before laying on the ground with its stomach again.
As Ban was clearly safe from the first day, he requested from Rila that the Ostrich should just stay as he would attempt to go farther, and with the limited range a Summon could operate away from their summoner, Ban convinced Rila that it would be extremely inconvenient to bring it along.
She surprisingly agreed to it as she also thought that it was reasonable. However, she did remind him to be extremely careful and to go back before the sun sets.
Raul was delighted upon seeing Ban, not because of the game that he brought, but just due to his presence alone. He was also aware that it was only Ban who could save his companions and he was always worried that he might run away while hunting, and seeing him now instantly made him happy.
These past two days have been quite stressful for him. The provision that Yakob left behind was already finished and if not for Ban sharing the foods that he cooked, they might not have anything to eat by now. At first, he thought that his teacher would come back immediately, but two days have passed and his teacher’s shadow was still nowhere in sight. In fact, he was also getting worried that his teacher might have already abandoned them.
Raul was on the verge of breaking down already, fortunately, Ban’s presence always reassured him.
Above a tree, Rila opened her eyes and observed Ban for a bit before nodding her head upon seeing that he wasn’t hurt. She then ignored him and went back to cultivating above the tree.
Ban dropped the boar and started preparing so that he could cook it immediately. However, before he could start, he suddenly heard the rustle of leaves from the distance.
Ban used his Echo Hearing Skill as he perked up his ears on instinct. Rila and her Sneaky Ostrich also followed suit, they both looked at the location where the commotion was heard.
The rustle was quite loud, it could only mean that one of her traps was triggered.
