Alpha’s Precious - Chapter 108

She was really really so happy right now and just doesn’t wanted this moment to end so soon. But to her dissapointment the sun is finally set and the sky also started to getting darker as the time passes.

Now they were laying peacefully there embracing eachothers but out of nowhere they suddenly heard a howling voice of someone, more specifically from a creature that must be living deep inside the forest.

She got shuddered out of fear while the sound was keep on getting more louder as if whoever it is just coming more closer towards them slowly slowly.

“Shit!” Lucas cursed while he stood up from his place along with her.

“Lucas! What is that noise? I think we should left from here right now.” She said getting very panicked and also started to shivering slightly. She had never heard something like this menacing in her whole life.

“At first calm down okey? Nothing will gonna be happen as long as I’m with you. And now just listen to me very carefully and try to understand what I’m actually saying to you. The first thing is, no matter what happens you will not just come out of this tent and the second thing is you can’t just take this book with you like this. You have to hide it, only then we can able to escape from this place.” He said making her more confusing while she was already got very scared.

“But how? I know you are not talking about the simple method of hiding. It also requires the magic, isn’t it?” She asked startling once again when she heard a much louder howl than the previous one.

“You are the smartest girl I have ever seen Rose and yes you are right. It requires the magic. And because the book is now belongs to you only, that’s why you should be the one who should perform the magic on it.” He said hurriedly.

“Tell me what should I do?” She asked getting even more scared then before.

“Listen carefully, at first you have to calm down first. If you keep on scared like this then this magic will not be worked. So first calm down okey? And don’t worry no one can do anything to us because I have casted a temporary magical safety barrier around this whole tent. So as long as we are in here we are safe.” He tried to coax her to calm down and he got quite successful in it. She is really calming down right now.

He was just feeling so proud of her!

“Now what Luc?” She asked when she felt that she is no longer that much scared right now.

“I will tell you a spell and you just have to say that continuously for about thirty times while holding the book on your palms. And remember no matter what happens you just can’t open your eyes. Even if you felt that I, you or even we both are in grave danger then also you will just stay rooted with your work and perform the spell for the thirty times non-stop without taking any break. And when you finish the spell and open your eyes you will see that the book will not be on your palms which means you just successfully performed the spell and managed to hide the book from every harm” He said making her understand everything.

“Alright, I understood what I have to do Luc. Now tell me the spell.” She said confidently without showing any ounce of fear in her voice and he really got surprised to see this side of hers for the very first time. She is really so wonderful he thought and his admiration for her only got increased more and more than before.

“Do you have any idea how much you are looking so impressive right now?” He teased and at the same time they heard another beasty growl from outside.

“Stop teasing me Luc, and tell me the spell now!” She urged giving him the serious look and he just chuckled a bit at her reaction but then he told her the spell. The spell was in some type of weird language and was consist of only three words. She found it quite easy to remember.

“Now you can start.” He said and she nodded her head at him. After that she placed the book on both of her palms and and closed her eyes giving her whole concentration on speaking the spell for thirty times.

On the other side when he felt that she is now completely closed her eyes and busy in performing the magic he just sneaked outside carefully so that she won’t comes to know about him going outside.

He had lied to her when he told him that he had casted a safety barrier around them. Actually he just wanted to divert her attention that’s why he had to say that. But in reality he had planned for something else. He had decided that he had to handle those beasts by himself only. There is no any other ways to escape from them.

He had not that much of time left because Rose must be on her way to end the magic. So without wasting anymore moments he closed his eyes and when opened them they were just blazing in bloody red in colour. Then instantly he started to appear in his real warewolf state. At this time he was looking so magestic and great that any other beasts who would have there will definitely back away once they would get to see the sight in front of them but unfortunately no one was there. The beasts are just slightly deeper inside the forest who are about to come out to attack both him and Rose. So he decided it’s better to approach them first before they approach them.

Then he started to ran deep inside the forest where he could finally see those bunch of beasts who were on their way to come outside. When they saw him they all just got stopped in their track.

Because Lucas has not much time left that’s why he just closed his eyes and muttered something inside his mind. The bunch of beasts were just about to attack him but suddenly they all felt that they can’t just move from their places even a bit.

When Lucas felt that he just successfully trapped them inside his magic he once again turned into his human form but his eyes are still red in colour.

“I know you all were going to attack us so I just performed a small magic on you and because of which you can’t be able to move from your places for some times. So stop trying to free yourselves. I hope from now on you all will just stay within your boundaries.” Saying this he once again turned into the warewolf form and ran out of there towards the tent and again transformed back into his human form.

Actually the thing was if he casted a spell to create a barrier around them then the beasts could have successfully able to break that barrier because Lucas would have in his human form while he casted those spells. That’s why he decided to go away from her sight because if he wants to cast any type of spell on the beasts then he have to transform into his full warewolf form at first. Only then he can able to cast a very strong magic which is enough for the beasts to keep them in control. With that thought he choose this way to stop them from approaching them and attack them.

Finally when he reached at the tent he saw that Rose is anxiously looking for him outside of the tent. When she finally saw him approaching she released a sigh of relief.

She had successfully performed the spell and hid the book a very long time ago and when she opened her eyes she just couldn’t found Lucas anywhere near her. So she instantly got panicked and came out to lookout for him. Then she once again remembered that he had clearly told her not to come out of the tent even though she feels that their life is in danger and trusting him she didn’t leave the tent but still looked out for him. And finally when he reached near her she just hugged him very tightly while her eyes were already filled with tears.

“Where did you go you stupid? Do you have any idea how scared I had got actually. What if something would have happened to you?” She asked him while sobbing slightly.

He also hugged her back and patted her back giving her some assurance and said, “I was just roaming outside Rose to check on the beasts and nothing else. I was here all the time. I told you, you don’t have to worry about anything. So stop crying okey?” He coaxed her but she still was not ready to leave him from her hold.

“Rose just let’s get out of here because those beasts may come and attack us at anytime.” He said and finally drifted her apart from his body…
