Then everyone started to wish him their special birthday wishes along with the staffs and few more patients of the hospital. Each and every people present there are respecting and adoring Lucas very much and it was the reason they all agreed immediately when Rose had told them about her plan regarding his birthday.

This time he didn’t minded that all people are wishing him because his all focus was on her only. Her happiness is the only thing that matters to him the most and for that he is ready to do anything and everything even if it means to celebrate his birthday with the whole hospital.

After that the cake cutting ceremony held in the main hall of the hospital and everyone just happily gave him his special birthday gifts. She was really really very happy thinking that finally she could able to do something for him. It’s him always doing everything for her but she had never gotten any chance like that to show him how much she loves him actually but today she will put her best and will turn out his day as the happiest day of his life.

“Do you have any emergency case to handle today?” She asked him. They are now in his chamber as usual while she was sitting on his lap enjoying the semi hardness underneath her.

“I think the answer is no. Why? Has my queen planned something for me huh?” He asked tenderly holding utmost love and affection for her inside his heart that it’s clearly reflecting on his voice. Hearing out his voice she just melted down instantly and it’s almost got impossible for her to control herself from saying him that how much she loves him actually.

But before she can say anything suddenly his phone rang inside his pocket and she did gave him the time to pick that up.

“Yes…” Lucas responded.

“Uh… sorry to disturb you sir. But actually few minutes ago a severely injured patient has been admitted in our hospital. She needs immediate treatment because her face is totally unrecognisable because of the acid attack she had faced and on top of that she also had faced a severe accident due to which so many cuts are formed on her body. But thankfully there is no internal damage has been occured. She needs your attention very urgently sir.” The female nurse informed him. Because the phone was on loud speaker Rose had heard everything that the nurse had said.

Her eyes watered instantly not because she is not going to spend alone time with him but because of the girl who had to endure this pain. She doesn’t even wants to imagine the pain of that girl.

“Ok I will be right there.” Saying this both got up from his seat.

“Hey, why are you crying?” Lucas asked softly.

“Luc… that… that girl, will she be alright?” She asked with her sad filled voice.

“First stop crying okey? And about that girl, I can’t say anything now until I examine her condition fully. But one thing I’m sure that if her face is destroyed then it’s almost impossible for me to bring back her real face. She may need the plastic surgery but after that transformation she will look like someone else. But don’t worry l, I will not let happen anything to her okey?” He asked with his concern filled voice.

“Can’t you use any magic on her so that her face can be bring back once again?” She asked.

“No Rose, as per my knowledge there is no spell or magic available which can bring back a person’s old face permanently. Yes, I can able to do that for a temporary period of time but when the time period will end, at the end she will have to face the consequences because the pain will become just unbearable for her. And I can only perform the spell once at her. So it’s better I do her operation in natural way without using any magic. You know very well that everything can’t be done by the magic right? If I use the magic then why had I studied human medical science? That’s why am telling you Rose, I will try my best to save her okey. You don’t have to worry about anything.” He made her understand very well and she just nodded her head sadly.

After that both went out of his chamber and he went to attend the patient. She has also some work to do, so she went back to her own chamber.

Rose was totally against women abusing and whenever she hears this type of news an unknown fear crawls inside her mind and heart. She totally becomes disturbs so badly. She always places herself on the victim’s place and will start to think so many negative things just like she is doing right now. She is always greatful to god that she has gifted with such a lovely family, friends and Lucas.

She tried to focus on her work but failed miserably because all she could think was about the girl. So unable to hold herself anymore she ran towards the area where Lucas was performing the surgery of that girl. She sat there for another couple of hours until Lucas came out of the room.

“How is she Luc?” She asked instantly .

“She is out of danger Rose. But as I had said I couldn’t able to bring back her previous natural face. But I had given her a new face which will really suit her.” He said smiling at her slightly.

“Can I meet her?” She asked.

“No, not now. She is not in her senses and her face is still wrapped by the bandages. It will take her some more time to come to her senses.” He replied calmly and she nodded her head understandingly.

“Did someone inform the police?”

“Yes, the police has been already informed and they have already started the investigation. It will take them some time to gather any information regarding the accident and they also are waiting for her to come back to her senses.

The time went by and now it’s 5pm in the evening. No matter how much she tried to forget about the incident but couldn’t. The girls sense has not been back yet. Lucas was comforting her saying that everything will be alright but still she can’t breath in relief until she sees the girl’s face.

She had planned so many things for today but she had not even imagined that this day will turned out to like this. Finally the nurse arrived knocking at the door of his chamber where both were discussing about the incident. The nurse said that the girl is finally come to her sense and they can meet her.

Rose immediately got up from her place and went out with Lucas to the ICU where the girl was present.

The time they reached she saw that another doctor was removing the bandage from her face while she was calmly sitting on the bed while her one hand was also wrapped by some bandages. Both of them entered inside and finally the whole face of the patient came to their view.

Lucas was not looking surprised at all while Rose was looking at the girl holding the shocking expression on her face. By looking at the girl no one can say that the face was not her real face. Her face was just looking real and natural and she couldn’t help but stare at Lucas disbelievingly.

“Wow Lucas, her face is looking so natural!” She exclaimed while at the same time exhaled a sigh of relief. The girl sitting there was looking totally fit and fine except those bandages on her hand.

“I told you that I won’t let anything happen to her. See I remained stick to my words.” He replied and Rose just helplessly moved her head side to side.

Rose went towards the girl who was holding a complete blank expression on her face. She was constantly staring at the same place in front of her as if thinking about something very deeply.

Her heart ached so much by looking at her condition but still she decided to talk with her to give her the comfort that everything is alright. She has not lost anything. Even her hand will going to recover within some days.

“Hey…” She asked softly. Rose tried to start the conversation between them.

The girl didn’t reacted, just turned her head to her side to look at her face with the same blank expression.

“How are you feeling right now?” She again asked in the same comforting voice.

“What do you think? How am I supposed to feel now?” The girl asked her back with the same blank expression on her face.

Rose became out of words. She couldn’t understand how to respond to her question. But still she said, “Look, I understand whatever happened with you was not supposed to be happen but still you managed to survive. So I just want to tell you one thing that don’t lose your hope okey? Time will heal everything. Now can you tell me your name?”

“Amira.” The girl replied. Then once again told her with the same blank expression,

“I want to see my face… Now!”…
