Alpha’s Precious - Chapter 79

“How can he manages to know everything that’s running inside my mind everytime?” She angrily muttered to herself and decided that not to get his words affecting her like this. She seen the message but didn’t replied to him anything and directly went to the bathroom for freshen up.

After freshen up she directly went downstairs to the kitchen to fetch something for herself to eat. Her mum was there in the kitchen busy in preparing the things for tonight’s dinner.

“Dear, you have not rest yet?” Her mom asked getting concerned for her health.

“No mom, there are so many things for me to catch up. You know that my exams are next week. So I think I should study for sometime.” Rose replied taking out some chips and icecream for herself. Only the icecream can able to calm her down she thought.

“But what about your headache dear?”

“I have eaten the medicine so don’t bother about it. I’m feeling alright.” Saying this she was once again about to go back to her room but suddenly halted midway and asked her mother,

“Mum, can you please do me a favor?”

“What’s it dear?”

“Mom can you please tell Lucas when he will come to fetch me that I’m sleeping in my room because of the headache and can’t go with him for the tutoring session for today?” She asked her mum hesitantly fully knowing that she will surely ask her that, is everything fine between them or not.

“Yes dear I can, but why do you want me to lie him? Did you both fought with eachother or what?” Her mother asked.

“Yes mom… Something like that but don’t worry it’s not that much serious. It’s just I don’t want to go with him today. Please mum, tell him and make himself go back somehow okey?”

“Fine dear… But later don’t forget that you have to explain me in detail.”

“Thank you and sure mum, don’t worry. Now I’m going okey!” Saying this she came back to her room and started to munching the chips while eating the icecream along with that. In reality her head was totally okay.

After making her tummy happy she just closed all the doors of her mind so that his words will not manage to affect her mind continuously and then opened her all the books and notes she had with her.

Then she looked at the wall clock. It was 4.30pm in the evening and she had decided to to cover up and revise all the topics those were taught in her class in this last three days. She thought within 7pm she will manage to cover up the topics somehow because she herself knew that her memory power is always strong and it is the only thing sha has always confident about. Otherwise why would she managed to get a medical seat in the top most university of the whole country and that to be with the scholarship!

Her only one motive is to prove Lucas wrong and that is, she can even study well without his help. And for that she will just cover up all the topic within this two hours thirty minutes time. And when he will come to fetch her that time she will act like she is just sleeping and will not go with him to his villa tonight.

Then she took out her laptop and started to watch the tutorial videos of those main main topics. In her university one thing is very helpful for the students and that is, in their official website they have posted all the tutorial videos of each and every topics of every branch. So if by any chance any student couldn’t manage to come to the college then they can manage their studies by watching those tutoring sessions. But obviously in their physical class the topics are taught more elaborately and even students gets the chance to do the practicals and if any doubt arises then can ask the lectures. Those videos are only for the referral purposes.

She watched the videos and made the important notes out of that. She even brought the notes from her friends to catch-up all the topics. And in this way she studied hard but also in the smart way and tried to remember as much as possible. After all these are the medical terms and definition and are not that much easy to remember them with in just few hours. But she was doing it only to show Lucas that she is not dumb and also can study well.

She didn’t know when the time passed and now it’s 6.55pm. Her phone once again beeped and she saw that it’s another message from Lucas.

<I’m waiting for you outside. Come within five minutes.>

“What is he thinking of himself? I’m not gonna obey him this time.” Again muttering herself angrily she immediately closed all her notes, books and the laptop and laid down on her bed. Thank god that before the time she did managed to cover all the topics. At exact 7.00pm her phone beeped once again.

<Are you coming or not? Don’t try my patience Rose?>

‘How dare he command me like this after everything that happened in the library? Doesn’t he regretted a bit about his behaviour?’ She thought and once again tried to close her eyes.

The time passed and no message came after that. It’s already 7.15pm. He must have left by now she thought and released a sigh of relief. But somehow she thought that it’s not like what it seems to be. She doesn’t know why but there is a restless feeling which started to develop inside her mind. Her gut feeling was saying her that he has not left yet and somehow she will just end up going with him to his villa.

And suddenly there was a light knock on the door and immediately her heart started to beat rapidly. She didn’t went to open the door and just stayed like that not moving even an inch from her place.

“Dear, open the door…” It was her mother and again she just released a sigh and got up to open the door.

‘What! It means I was right!’ She thought and disbelievingly keep on looking at the person who was standing beside her mother holding his as usual cold expression. Then she averted her gaze from him to her mother and saw that she was silently apologizing her for not keeping her words.

‘What did he do that he even managed to bring my mother to his side! What a sly man!” She thought inside her mind and told her mother ignoring him completely.

“Mother, I was sleeping. What is he doing here? Please mother tell him to go back. I’m unable to even walk properly. My headache is too much for me to handle.” She acted saying in her tired voice as if she was really in pain but she has no idea that both mother and Lucas can clearly see that she is acting right now.

“Mrs Campbell, let me handle her from now on. Give me some time and I will just make her come with me.” Lucas told her mother and she instantly replied, “Of course son. I’m going then…” Saying this her mother went downstairs leaving him alone with Rose.

Then without waiting for her permission he entered into her room like he is the one who owns her whole room and then locked the door.

“Get ready… You have only ten minutes.” He said as if he is ordering her around and it just managed to fuel her anger even more towards him.

“No!” It was all her reply and went to her bed to lie down. After laying down she once again spoke, “While going out please make sure to close the door properly.” And then turned towards the window making her back facing towards him.

He had not expected this behaviour from her at least. She is ignoring him fully challenging his ego. No one had ever acted this much of ignorant with him. But he knew that he deserves this treatment from her. At least it will be better than the sweet torture she was going to give him tonight.

Yes, he knew what will gonna happen with him later and that is why he decided to choose this way. At least she will forget about the punishment she was going to give him. He was damn sure that no matter what but he won’t be able to resist her touches and kisses.

That’s why he decided to tell her those hurtful words. He knew she has no time to revise the whole topic and also knew the reasons but still he didn’t gave her the opportunity to defend herself because he knew she is right and he is wrong. He also knew that if he stays any longer with her in the library then he would definitely ended up kissing her and touching her. So he thought it would be the good way to avoid the upcoming future by saying her all those things. He had even asked her the most tuff questions so that she will unable to answer any of them and then he will execute his plan…
