“Explain, what do you mean you didn’t have to do anything,” Erylis asked as she had a confused expression on her face.

“The guardian of the last trial passed me without having me do anything. I was passed and I was given a reward” Dro explained to the Queen of the Vampires who had a confused expression.

Erylis not fully believing Dro’s words nodded her head and asked, “What was the reward then?”

Dro smiled, “The reward was a weapon. I was given a sword.”

“Can you show me the sword?” Dro nodded his head and pulled out the sword from his sheath and showed it to Erylis. He didn’t see how showing the sword to her would be harmful.

Erylis didn’t take the sword from his hand. She just looked at the sword with the tiger inscription from a distance. She nodded and thought, “So it’s really the truth.”

She smiled, “Congratulations my fifth progenitor Dro. I am really proud of you.” She thought, “To think that the trial would be passed during the time of my ruling and to think the person that passed the trial would be my fifth progenitor.”

Dro thought as the message flashed on his screen, “I shouldn’t retrieve the rewards. The rewards from her were always attuned to my level. I should retrieve them when I reached and not a single level sooner.” Dro said as he looked at Erylis, “I will be going now, Erylis.”

Erylis nodded her head, “Go on and get your strength back. Once you get it back I will give you tasks that need to be completed.”

“Yes, Erylis.” Dro once again called out her by her name and when he did a notification followed,

Dro smiled and extended his hand, . Dro walked into the opened and disappeared from the throne room. Erylis looked at the for a moment. She then shook her head and sat down on her throne. The Queen closed her eyes and thought, “Come back quickly, fifth. There are more tasks that you have to do for me.” She paused and thought, “You will pay me fully for taking away my first kiss.”

Dro surroundings have changed and notification message sounded,

Dro looked around and he thought, “I should begin doing the quests. Let’s see I have to find the werewolves in the forest and kill them, collect ten pelts of Corrupted Vampire Bats and bring the letter to a Vampire in the cave. The same cave that was once inhabited by the werewolves.”

Dro turned his head towards the location of the Corrupted Vampire Bats and thought, “I will start with the bat pelts.” Dro walked ahead as he was already turned in the direction of the Corrupted Vampire Bats. The Vampire didn’t have to walk for long as in a few moments he saw the bat floating above the ground. Dro looked at the monster one last time,

Dro walked towards this bat and drew out his sword as he walked closer. When Dro was close to the bat. The bat screeched and rushed at Dro. The Vampire at this time had his weapon already drawn out. The bat approached and Dro slashed with his sword. The weapon quickly descended upon the Corrupted Vampire Bat and the damage flashed before Dro’s eyes,

Dro sheathed his sword and bent down towards the body of the fallen bat. When he touched the dead body of the bat, a loot window appeared and two items appeared in the window. The first item was the quest item he needed to collect and the second item were a few copper coins. Dro picked up both items. He received two copper coins and a corrupted Vampire Bat pelt.

Dro stood up and looked around as he searched for the second Corrupted Vampire Bat. Since the second Corrupted Vampire Bat was floating around nearby Dro without waiting for anything initiated combat and like with the first bat killed it in a single strike. Dro didn’t stop after the second one, he continued killing until he killed all ten Corrupted Vampire Bats and had all the Corrupted Vampire Bat pelts. After killing the bats he had received: 9 Corrupted Vampire Bat pelts, 1800 experience points and 15 copper coins.

After receiving this much experience Dro’s level increased to .

“Let’s return back to the town,” Dro thought as he was planning to return back to the town and turn in the quest that he just did. Dro without waiting for anything turned around and walked back to the town. He went back to the same NPC and talked to him, “I have brought your Corrupted Vampire Pelts.”

The vampire bowed his head and said, “Thank you for completing this task, your Excellency.”

Dro looked at this NPC and now it had red quest marker above his head. Dro thought, “So now comes the dungeon quest. I wonder if I can solo it.” Dro smirked and said to the vampire man, “Do you need any more help?”

The Vampire man said, “Yes, please go to the cave and bring me Vampire Bat King’s pelt. But before his Excellency goes I would like to warn that this beast is dangerous and it would be dangerous to go alone.”
