Alternate World Online - Chapter 111
“I should go and find the dungeon. I need those fifty elites so I can upgrade my weapon further.” Thought Dro. He looked around and saw two mountains slightly further ahead. Between the two mountains was a pass and below this pass was a deep ravine.
When Dro saw this sight he knew exactly where he was located. Dro recognised this as the area where he was teleported by Erylis the first time he entered this zone called . Dro looked at the path ahead and thought, “I should go.”
He walked across the path and soon disappeared into the path ahead. Dro walked for a little while and stopped. He stopped as he saw a monster appear before him. The monster was familiar to Dro. The monster that appeared was,
<15,000/15,000 HP>
When Dro’s eyes landed on the monster, he was taken aback. The monster was not aggressive towards him. It didn’t have a red tooltip on the name, it was yellow instead. The monster was neutral to him. Dro tilted his head in confusion and he closed his eyes in thought, “The wyvern is neutral to me, why?” Dro tried to understand a reason for this. After a moment of thinking back, a sudden realization flashed on his face. Dro thought, “Come to think of it. After I killed the dragon, I received the item which allowed me to learn the dragon language and made Dragons neutral to me. But the wyvern is not the dragon.” Dro smiled and thought, “Well no matter. I should approach it. Maybe I will trigger something.”
Dro approached the neutral wyvern and when he came close enough a sudden quest marker appeared above the wyvern’s head. The wyvern looked at Dro and spoke. The words entered Dro’s ears and he could understand every word spoken.
“Are you the one that killed a green dragon?”
Dro blinked his eyes, he was surprised to receive such a quest. He closed his eyes and thought, “What should I say?” Dro sighed and said, “I was the one that killed the green dragon.”
The wyvern before Dro changed it’s colour to red and it attacked Dro. It spoke, “Die for your crimes against the green dragons!”
Dro didn’t react fast enough and damage number floated up above Dro’s head as he received one attack.
<-432>
Luckily for Dro, the attack was barely able to damage him as he had over 4,000 health and even if he died from this attack he would have been resurrected. After Dro received this attack he frowned and thought, “It seems I chose wrong.” Dro pulled out his sword and slashed at the wyvern, following his attack the damage number floated up,
<-190,164>
<+100,000 XP (2X Bonus)>
< ??? Dragons Reputation +10>
Dro stared at the message and he blinked his eyes. He tilted his head in confusion and thought, “Reputations? There are reputations in this game? So there is not only favourability and affection but also reputations? Wait this isn’t really new as I am already enemies with dwarves, orcs, elves.”
“And why is that reputation all question marks?” Dro thought.
Dro scratched his head and shrugged his shoulders. He thought, “Whatever the case, I should proceed.”
Dro walked over the corpse of the wyvern and he proceeded forward on his path. After walking for some more he reached the quest giver that he had met when he walked through this zone the last time.
The quest giver looked at Dro and he said, “Adventurer, have you come back to aid me?”
Dro looked at this man and he remembered the quest he was offered the last time. When he recalled the reward he shook his head and said, “No, I am not.”
The man lowered his head and closed his eyes. He mumbled under his breath, “I see.”
Dro left the man behind as he walked passed the man and deeper into the zone. The zone behind the Quest giver was even more mountains on these mountains he met with more wyverns. All the wyverns that he met were all green wyverns and by the time Dro reached the branching path, he had killed 13 of those wyverns. This gave him 1,3 million experience and he was now only 213,646 experience points away from reaching .
When he reached the branching path Dro saw the warning sign that was placed on the way to one of the two paths. The warning sign was read as,
Dro looked at the danger sign and thought, “The GM told me that the dungeons reset daily. So if I go down this path, there should be a BOSS.”
Dro smiled and walked past the warning sign. As he walked this path a notification message sounded,
<dragon’s ravine,=”” 5=”” man=”” dungeon=””></dragon’s>
Dro smiled and he walked down this path. Like last time there were no monsters on this path and like last time at the end of this path laid a dragon. Dro looked at this dragon and information appeared before him,
<2,000,000/2,000,000 HP>
Dro smirked and he thought,”So it’s true the dungeons really do reset and the boss is also the same. Alright, let’s do this.”
Dro pulled out his sword. Before engaging he cast on himself. This gave him protection for one attack. This reduced Dro’s Blood by 30% which in turn increased the damage of Dro’s attacks since he had his passive
Dro activated the skill and directed it towards the boss.
<1,242,313>
From the talent, Dro had 80% chance of critical strike against the enemy with this skill and he managed to score a critical strike. A huge number flashed above the Dragon’s head and the Dragon issued a loud roar. The battle of the two had started.
