Fang sighed as he watched Zero practice. Fenya walked over to him, “How is your training going?”

Fang turned to his mother and glared, “I finished three days ago, and now, the word going around about the Black Wolf guy is attacking every patrol going towards the Evermore Kingdom? I cannot figure out what he is planning? First, heading to some remote village along the border of Grand Dale and Gorma? Where the pass that is owned by the Faremin Kingdom lies. And now he is heading into the Faremin Kingdom. I cannot understand his reasoning?”

Kenya started t her son’s confusion. “Then why don’t you confront him? He might worth your time?” She suggested.

Fang turned to Zero, “WHat of Zero’s training? Is he finished?”

Fenya smiled as she turned to her pupil. “Yes, he was done a week before you. His body picked everything up fast? So Zero and you are free to do as you please. Just do not get caught by the army. They will kill you on the spot.” Fenya warned him as she walked away.

Fang stared at Zero before walking over. “Zero, pack up we are in a hurry to the south.”

Zero stopped as he turned to Fang and nodded, racing over and grabbing their bags. As he rushed to Fang’s side.

“So, where are we going?” Zero asked.

Fang narrowed eyes, “To hunt this Wolf character. If my hunch is right. He should be in town, if not almost here” Fang trailed off as he stopped at the gates. Zero looked over to see a masked man with a black wolf at his side. Fang grinned as he stares at him. “Well, ask, and I shall receive.”

“Wait, Fang?” the masked man spoke as Fang charged him.

The wolf jumped in between them.”Wolf, look out!” the beast called out. As he tackled Fang. “Are you alright?”

Wolf nodded as he looked at Fang, “Yes, but why is he here?”

The wolf growled as he was encased in shadows. “I don’t know, but we will have to change our plans slightly if we are going to succeed.”

Fang got up as Zero rushed to his side. “I look like we either kill them or we die. Since their probably Azoths lackeys?” Fang grinned as he stared down Wolf.

Wolf sighed as he pulled his swords out, waiting for fangs next attack. Fang rushed him once more as he blocked the attack with one of his blades, then striking from below catching Fant off guard as he was flung back. Fang coughed as he realized that Wolf used the flat of his sword to attack him.

Fang growled as he turned into his beast form. Zero sat stunned as he looked at Fang snarling at Wolf. The beast snarled back as Wolf shook his head. “No, Shadow. I will handle Fang just keep Zero out of the fight until I have dealt with the fool before me.” Wolf could feel a chill in the air as Fang charged him.

Fang opened his maw wide as to take a chuck out of Wolf, but he did not move. Wolf stared at him as he took a deep breath, and his shadow shot up like daggers. Promoting Fang to jump out of the way as Wolf put his blades away, then charge Fang. Punching him in the gut before twisting his body to kick him across the yard.

Fang grunted in pain as Wolf flashes in front of him as Fang turns into his true form. Grabbing him by the jaw and squeezing him tightly. Fang let out a screech of pain as Wolf thew him up high enough to kick him again to the other side then flashed over to kick him like a ping pong. Before stopping as he landed in front of Zero. Lying in pain as he glanced at Wolf.

Zero felt rage as he charged Wolf. Fang tried to stop him but was gut-punched him knocking him out in one move. Wolf walked over to Fang as he felt fear travel through his body. “Well, now it seems you will listen, know? I am not your enemy, but we have the same foe, the Demora. I work for no one but my own goals. And if you want to best me understand the darkness that you have experienced and show how no matter what, you can overcome this. As you are thee Ren-Ky of Darkness of Life. Fight for the freedom of your people, stop your grandfather.”

Wolf turned away as Fenya and Tenya rushed out to see what was going on. “Fang, what going on–?” Fenya gasped as Wolf locked on to her with a gun.

Fang stared in horror as his mother stared down the barrel. She took a deep breath as she knew she was his target. Fang tried to call out but was too weak to call her name as to stop Wolf.

“I am sorry this had to happen in front of you, Fang.” Wolf apologized as he pulled the trigger. The bullet piercing her right shoulder as an icy vine exploded out of the wound, wrapping around to her mana heart than her mortal heart. Killing her.

Fang began to shed tears as Tenya charge him and shot her in the same place. Wolf lower his gun and walked away as Fang passed out. Wolf stopped and look, Fang. “Shadow, grab Zero, we will take them to Dymo. As they will be safe there.” Shadow nodded as he transformed and picked Zero up and followed Wolf. Leaving moments before the Faremin soldiers reached Fenya and Tenya resting place.
